Abnormal Phenomena Recorded by Several Earthquake Precursor Observation Instruments Before the M_s 8.0 Wenchuan,Sichuan Earthquake显示文摘<正>The paper introduces the anomalies observed by digital tiltmeter,cross-fault deformation meter,4-component borehole strainmeter and geothermometer before May 12,2008,M_s8.0 Wenchuan earthquake,Sichuan. The digital tiltmeter installed in the epicentral region in Shifang County recorded the tilt anomalies 15 days before the earthquake with variation amplitude of 3.7 times larger than the annual deviation of 2007.The cross-fault deformation meter installed at Zimakua station on the Xianshuihe-Anninghe fault zone detected displacement anomaly occurring since 2006 with the variation amplitude exceeding the cumulative value of the last ten years.Five borehole strainmeter stations in the Chongqing section of Three Gorges Reservoir area observed unconventional strain changes occurring in the period from May 1 through 12,2008.Among them, the strainmeter at Wanzhou station recorded the great compression strain rate on the EW component at 14:00 o'clock of May 10,and the anomaly amplitude was so large that the instrument output exceeded its dynamic range, corresponding to a level of~10~4 nanostrains. The geothermometers installed in Xi'an, Chongqing and Xichang recorded the sudden temperature changes from November 2007 to January 2008 with the variation amplitudes several times larger than the ordinary deviation. The above phenomena and the criteria for distinguishing the anomalies from background fluctuations are discussed in this paper. | OUYANG Zuxi ZHANG Hongxun FU Zizhong GOU Bo JIANG Wali | 2009 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2009,83,4: | 12
Driving Force Model for Non-pneumatic Elastic Wheel显示文摘In order to obtain good driving performance,a driving force model is presented for non-pneumatic elastic wheel.Brush model of pneumatic tyres is introduced and the deformations of elastic supports and tread are also taken into account. The longitudinal slip rate is redefined. The grounding pressure distribution of elastic wheels is analyzed and corrected according to speed, temperature and stiffness. Then rolling resistance equation is developed. Finally, simulation is conducted by software CarSim,and the results show that the estimated values are consistent with simulation values, especially at low longitudinal slip rate. The research can help to optimize design of non-pneumatic elastic wheel. | Li Bo Zhao Youqun Zang Liguo Bei Shaoyi Fu Hongxun Zhang Lanchun | 2016 | Transactions of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics2016,33,2: | 3
Steady-State Cornering Properties of a Non-pneumatic Tire with Mechanical Elastic Structure显示文摘Mechanical elastic wheel(ME-wheel)is a new type of non-inflatable safety tyre, and the structure is significantly different from traditional pneumatic tyre.In order to investigate cornering properties of ME-wheel,experimental research on mechanics characteristics of ME-wheel under steady-state cornering conditions are carried out.The test of steady-state cornering properties of ME-wheel at different experimental parameter conditions is conducted by test bench for dynamic mechanical properties of tyre.Cornering property curves are used to analyze the steady-state cornering properties of ME-wheel,namely the variation tendency of lateral force or aligning torque with the increase of side-slip angle. Moreover, evaluation indexes for cornering properties of ME-wheel are extracted and the effect of different experimental parameters(including vertical load, friction coefficient, and speed)on cornering properties of ME-wheel is contrastively analyzed. The proposed research can provide certain reference to facilitate structure parameters and cornering properties optimizing process of ME-wheel. | Fu Hongxun Zhao Youqun Lin Fen Du Xianbin Zhu Mingmin | 2017 | Transactions of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics2017,34,5: | 2
儿童及青少年保留骨骺的保肢手术临床研究(英文)显示文摘Objective: The aim of the study was to analyze the clinical features of limb salvage surgery with epiphyseal preservation in children and adolescents, and to evaluate the recurrence rate, metastasis, complications, and the joint functional results after tumor resection. Methods: Between December 1995 and January 2003, 33 cases of preserving epiphysis procedure had been done. In this group, the tumor located in distal femur in 24 cases and in proximal tibia in 9 cases. There were 23 osteosarcomas, 6 Ewing’s sarcomas, 2 chondrosarcomas, and 2 aggressive osteoblastomas. The patients received 2–4 cycles of preoperative adjuvant chemotherapy, and another 6 cycles after surgery. The modified protocol T10 was taken. Radiography and MRI were used to determine the margins of the tumors preoperatively and histological examination was used to corroborate the evidence intraoperatively. The tumors were staged clinically. Among them, there were 2 cases in IA, 2 cases in IB, 17 cases in IIA, and 12 cases in IIB. According to the MRI analysis, the metaphyseal tumors in children were classified into 3 types. Type I, with the tumor close to but not contacting epiphyseal plate, and the distance between the two over 2 cm, was taken as absolute indication for the technique. Type II, with the tumor near or contacting epiphysis plate, and the distance between the two less than 1 cm, was taken as relative indication for the surgery. For type III, the tumor contacted the epiphyseal plate partially, and was over 2 cm beyond the joint. In the cohort, 18 cases were categorized as type I, 13 as type II, and 2 as type III. The size of the residual epiphyseal bone segment differed after different excision protocols which were taken according to the clinical classifications. Bone defects after tumor resections were repaired with massive intercalary allograft bone, followed by internal fixation by intramedullary nails and cancellous screws. Results: Among the 33 cases, 3 cases were lost to follow up. 29 cases had complete clinical data. Postoperative follow-up was 12–72 months. Recurrences were seen in 3 cases, with one local recurrence in type III cases one year post tumor resection, other 2 recurrences around the femoral vessels in type II cases 15 months and 30 months after the tumor resection respectively. The recurrence rate accounted for 10.34%. Amputation was performed for the cases with recurrences. But pulmonary metastasis developed and the patients died. In this cohort, 9 cases died. Five-year survival rate constituted 57.94% demonstrated by Kaplan-Meier sur- vival analysis. The median survival time for male patients was 64.36 months, and that for female patients was 56.00 months (P = 0.0403). The sites, stages and types were not associated with the survival time. Four cases reported 5 complications (17.24%). The complications included fracture of the allograft, limb length discrepancy, nerve injury, breakage of nails, and loosening of the screws. No patient reported skin necrosis, hematoma, infection, rejection to the allograft, and nonunion at the end of the follow-up. According to the functional evaluation criteria after surgical treatment of malignant tumors of the extremities introduced by Enneking, excellent functional results were reported in 11 cases, good in 13 cases, fair in 3 cases, and poor in 2 cases. The excellent or good result rate was 83%. The excision interface involved partial epiphysis in 4 cases, involved the epiphyseal plate in 8 cases. Intact epiphysis was preserved in 17 cases. Five cases with poor postoperative functional results were in types II and III. Average time of bone union was 2.5 months for epiphyseal end and 3.8 months for diaphyseal end. According to the International Society of Limb Salvage (ISOLS) radiological implants evaluation system, excellent reconstruction was observed in 23 cases, good reconstruction in 4 cases, fair reconstruction in 1 case, and poor reconstruction in 1 case. All patients in the group had satisfactory joint stability. No patient reported joint dislocation, valgus or varus deformity, and osteoarthritis. The average limb length discrepancy was 3.2 cm, ranging 2–6 cm. Conclusion: The limb salvage surgery with preservation of epiphysis for malignant bone tumors in children and adolescents guarantees the patient’s satisfactory postoperative limb functional results. Preoperative effective adjuvant chemotherapy and prevention of postoperative complications deserve great attention. | Zhen Wang Zheng Guo Xiangdong Li Luyu Huang Qiang Ji Haiqiang Wang Hongxun Sang Jun Fu | 2009 | The Chinese-German Journal of Clinical Oncology2009,8,11: | 0
Dietary Eucommia ulmoides leaf extract improves laying performance by altering serum metabolic profiles and gut bacteria in aged laying hens显示文摘The leaves of Eucommia ulmoides are rich in bioactive constituents that have potential gastrointestinal benefits for animals. In aged laying hens, intestinal health issues contribute to a significant decline in egg-laying capacity during intermediate and later stages. It remains unclear whether E.ulmoides leaf extract(ELE)can improve intestinal health and enhance egg production in elderly laying hens, and the underlying mechanisms are yet to be elucidated. Therefore,we conducted a study with 480 laying hens(65 weeks old)randomly allocated into four groups:a control group fed with the basal diet, and three treatment groups supplemented with 500,1,000,and 2,000 mg/kg of ELE,respectively. The primary active constituents of ELE include flavonoids, polysaccharides, terpenoids, and phenolic acids.Dietary supplementation with ELE at 1,000 mg/kg(ELE1000)significantly improved laying performance and egg quality compared to the other groups.ELE1000 stimulated the maturation of intestinal epithelial cells, increased villus height, and reduced crypt depth. It also influenced the levels of proteins associated with tight junctions(claudin-1 and claudin-2)and intestinal inflammatory factors(IL-6,IL-1β,and IL-2)in different intestinal sections.Integrative analysis of serum metabolomics and gut microbiota revealed that ELE1000 improved nutrient metabolism by modulating amino acid and ubiquinone biosynthesis and influenced the abundance of intestinal microbiota by enriching pivotal genera such as Bacteroides and Rikenellaceae_RC9_gut_group.We identified 15 metabolites significantly correlated with both gut microbiota and laying performance,e.g.,DL-methionine sulfoxide,THJ2201 N-valerate metabolite, tetracarbonic acid, etc. In conclusion,ELE1000 improved laying performance in elderly laying hens by affecting intestinal morphology, barrier function, microbiota, and serum metabolite profiles. These findings suggest that ELE can be a beneficial feed additive for extending the peak producing period in aged laying hens. | Xiaoxiao Liang Yawei Fu Kaimin Niu Zhenya Zhai Hongxun Shi Ruxia Wang Yulong Yin | 2023 | Animal Nutrition2023,,4: | 0
