SNP-based QTL mapping for panicle traits in the japonica super rice cultivar Liaoxing 1显示文摘Panicle traits directly associated with yield are a target of selection in rice breeding.Although abundant QTL for panicle traits have been identified, there is little information about the genetic basis of panicle traits in japonica super rice(JSR)cultivars. In this study,we identified QTL for panicle traits in three environments using a population of recombinant inbred lines(RILs)derived from the JSR cultivar Liaoxing 1.A total of 197 RILs were genotyped with 285 polymorphic SNP markers.Phenotypic data and best linear unbiased prediction(BLUP)value of primary branch number(BNP),secondary branch number(BNS),grain number on primary branch(GNP),grain number on secondary branch(GNS),grain number per panicle(GN),panicle length(PL)and grain density(GD)were used for QTL mapping.A total of 105 QTL for seven panicle traits were detected in single environments using their BLUP values.Individual QTL explained 0.51%–52.22%of the phenotypic variation.Of the 105,49 were also detected by joint multi-environment analyses.Five stable QTL:qGD9,qPL9,qGNP9,qGN6,and qBNS6.2 were identified in multiple environments.qGD9,qGNP9,and qPL9,co-localizing on chromosome 9,likely correspond to the known gene DEP1.Importantly,qGN6 and qBNS6.2 in a co-localization region were identified as novel QTL,and their Liaoxing 1 alleles had a positive effect.Several RILs with the QTL allele combinations qGD9/qPL9/qGNP9 and qGN6/qBNS6.2 showed greater GN.Further investigation of the putative gene underlying qGN6/qBNS6.2 would shed light on the molecular mechanism of JSR. | Mingzhu Zhao Zuobin Ma Lili Wang Zhiqiang Tang Ting Mao Chuanbin Liang Hong Gao Liying Zhang Na He Liang Fu Changhua Wang Guomin Sui Wenjing Zheng | 2020 | The Crop Journal2020,8,5: | 4

Analysis of parental genetic diversity and its impact on grain yield and quality of japonica hybrid rice in northern China显示文摘The relationship between parental genetic differences and the quality and yield of japonica hybrid rice strongly influences japonica hybrid rice breeding. In this study,137 parental lines of japonica hybrid rice were genotyped using 8 K rice SNP-Chips to characterize their genetic diversity, population structure, and indica-genotype proportion. The genetic diversity of total parental lines averaged 0.264,with values of0.287 for restorer lines and 0.148 for the sterile lines. The introduction of indica lineage increased the genetic diversity of restorer lines relative to that of sterile lines.By model-based population structure analysis, the 137 lines were divided into 14 groups.According to the grouping results, eight restorer lines and five sterile lines were selected from different groups for cross breeding, yielding 40 japonica hybrid rice combinations(F1).Investigation of the yield and quality of these combinations showed that highyield combinations could be obtained by increasing parental genetic distance to 0.8–0.9,a result accomplished largely by the introduction of indica genomic components of restorer lines. To further improve grain quality, the genetic distance between parents should be reduced to 0.4–0.5,suggesting an indicagenotype proportion of 30%–40%for restorer lines. This study may provide a reference for breeding of japonica hybrid rice. | Hong Gao Zuobin Ma Yuanzheng Wang Manli Zhang Xianju Wang Changhua Wang Zhiqiang Tang Liying Zhang Liang Fu Na He Hui Wang Yongan Yin Yuanjun Bai Guomin Sui Wenjing Zheng | 2022 | The Crop Journal2022,10,3: | 1
Study on Variation of Fitting Goodness of Relation Between Earthquake Frequency and Magnitude before Moderately Strong Earthquakes (Ms≥5.0)显示文摘In this paper, characteristics of spatial and temporal variation of linear fitting goodness before some moderately strong earthquakes(Ms≥5.0)in the eastern part of China(east of longitude 180)are studied according to the famous Gutenberg-Richter’s relation expressed as lgN=a-bM,by using the moderate and small events that occurred in and around the source area. The results show that the linear goodness of fitting varies abnormally prior to these moderately strong earthquakes. In the early stage of the earthquake preparatory process, distribution of the energy released through small events in and around the source area is isostatic and the fitting goodness approximates 1,while the distribution of the energy turns to be isostatic before moderately strong earthquakes, leading to the obvious decrease of the linear goodness of fitting. This phenomenon could be a medium term anomaly and a medium term criterion for moderately strong earthquake prediction. | Li Zhixiong,Zhang Guomin,Fu Zhengxiang, and Zhang YongxianState Seismological Bureau,Beijing 100036,China Center for Analysis and Prediction,SSB,Beijing 100036,China | 1996 | Earthquake Research in China1996,10,4: | 1
Study on the Determination of the Significant National Seismic Monitoring and Protection Regions显示文摘The paper describes firstly the principles and scientific train of thought involved in determining the significant seismic monitoring and protection regions (SSMPR) in China. The principles include the gradation principle, i.e. the national level SSMPR and the provincial level SSMPR, the principle of highlighting priorities, namely, the area of an SSMPR should be a fraction of the total area of the country or of the respective province, but the earthquake losses incurred in SSMPR should be a major proportion of the national or provincial ones. The scientific train of thought adopted is to determine the SSMPR on the basis of seismic hazard assessment and loss estimation. Secondly, it reviews the achievements in determining the SSMPRs for the period from 1996 to 2005. The result shows that 10 strong earthquakes occurred during that period in the areas with earthquake monitoring and prediction capability available on the Chinese continent, 8 of which occurred in SSMPRs with the economic loss and death toll accounting for 67% and 92% of the total loss on the Chinese mainland. Lastly, the paper introduces preparatory research for determining the SSMPR for the period from 2006 to 2020, including decade-scale mid-and long-range seismic risk assessment based on seismology, seismogeology, geodesy, earthquake engineering, sociology and stochastics and so on, and the national seismic risk probability map, the seismic hazard (intensity) map, earthquake disaster losses map and the comprehensive seismic risk index, etc. obtained for the period of 2006 to 2020. | Zhang Guomin Fu Zhengxiang Wang Xiaoqing Liu Guiping | 2007 | Earthquake Research in China2007,21,1: | 0
Pomalidomide improves the function of CD133-or HER2-specific CAR T cells显示文摘Chimeric antigen receptor(CAR)T-cell therapy is mostly limited to hematological malignancies and has a poor effect on solid tumors.CAR T cells as a kind of immune cell may be affected by some immunomodulatory drugs such as pomalidomide,so the use of pomalidomide may improve the effect of CAR T cells on solid tumors. In this study,CD133-or HER2-specific CAR T cells were chosen to investigate whether pomalidomide can regulate the function of CAR T cells in vitro. We found that pomalidomide can significantly enhance the ability of CD133-CAR T cells and HER2-CAR T cells to kill tumor cells and increase the cytokine secretion of CD133-CAR T cells and HER2-CAR T cells. Also, pomalidomide was shown to induce down-regulation of protein levels of IL-2 transcriptional repressors Aiolos and Ikaros in CAR T cells. This study suggests that the combination of pomalidomide and CAR T cells may be a new strategy for the treatment of solid tumors. | ZHIXIONG WANG NA RISU JIAYU FU HUI LIU GUOMIN ZHOU QIAN LIU YAN ZOU JIAXING TANG LONG LI XUEKAI ZHU | 2021 | BIOCELL2021,45,1: | 0
Water quality prediction of copper-molybdenum miningbeneficiation wastewater based on the PSO-SVR model显示文摘The mining-beneficiation wastewater treatment is highly complex and nonlinear.Various factors like influent quality, flow rate,pH and chemical dose, tend to restrict the effluent effectiveness of miningbeneficiation wastewater treatment.Chemical oxygen demand(COD)is a crucial indicator to measure the quality of mining-beneficiation wastewater.Predicting COD concentration accurately of miningbeneficiation wastewater after treatment is essential for achieving stable and compliant discharge. This reduces environmental risk and significantly improves the discharge quality of wastewater. This paper presents a novel AI algorithm PSO-SVR,to predict water quality.Hyperparameter optimization of our proposed model PSO-SVR,uses particle swarm optimization to improve support vector regression for COD prediction. The generalization capacity tested on out-of-distribution(OOD)data for our PSOSVR model is strong, with the following performance metrics of root means square error(RMSE)is 1.51,mean absolute error(MAE)is 1.26,and the coefficient of determination(R2)is 0.85.We compare the performance of PSO-SVR model with back propagation neural network(BPNN)and radial basis function neural network(RBFNN)and shows it edges over in terms of the performance metrics of RMSE,MAE and R2,and is the best model for COD prediction of mining-beneficiation wastewater. This is because of the less overfitting tendency of PSO-SVR compared with neural network architectures. Our proposed PSO-SVR model is optimum for the prediction of COD in copper-molybdenum mining-beneficiation wastewater treatment. In addition,PSO-SVR can be used to predict COD on a wide variety of wastewater through the process of transfer learning. | Xiaohua Fu Qingxing Zheng Guomin Jiang Kallol Roy Lei Huang Chang Liu Kun Li Honglei Chen Xinyu Song Jianyu Chen Zhenxing Wang | 2023 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2023,17,8: | 0
