| 1 | 血浆游离DNA水平增高可作为预测重型颅脑损伤患者死亡率的独立指标(英文)显示文摘Trauma is the leading cause of death under 45 years worldwide and up to 50% of trauma fatalities are due to brain injury.Prediction of outcome is one of the major problems associated with severe TBI and research efforts have focused on the investigation of biomarkers with prognostic value following TBI. Therefore,our aim was to investigate whether cell-free DNA concentrations correlated to short-term primary outcome( survivor or death) and GCS scores following severe TBI. A total of 188 victims of severe TBI were enrolled in this prospective study,outcome variables comprised: survival and neurological assessment using the GCS at ICU discharge. Control blood samples were obtained from 25 healthy volunteers. Peripheral venous blood was collected at admission in the ICU. Plasma DNA was measured using a real-time quantitative PCR assay for the β-globin gene. There was correlation between higher DNA levels and both fatal outcome and lower hospital admission GCS scores. Plasma DNA concentrations at the chosen cut- off point( ≥171,381 kilogenomesequivalents /L) predicted mortality with a specificity of 90% and a sensitivity of 43%. Logistic regression analysis showed that elevated plasma DNA levels were independently associated with death( P < 0. 001). | 2 | Posterior partially edentulous jaws, planning a rehabilitation with dental implants显示文摘AIM: To discuss important characteristics of the useof dental implants in posterior quadrants and the rehabilitation planning. METHODS: An electronic search of English articles was conducted on MEDLINE(PubM ed) from 1990 up to the period of March 2014. The key terms were dental implants and posterior jaws, dental implants/treatment planning and posterior maxilla, and dental implants/treatment planning and posterior mandible. No exclusion criteria were used for the initial search. Clinical trials, randomized and non randomized studies, classical and comparative studies, multicenter studies, in vitro and in vivo studies, case reports, longitudinal studies and reviews of the literature were included in this review. RESULTS: One hundred and fifty-two articles met the inclusion criteria of treatment planning of dental implants in posterior jaw and were read in their entirety. The selected articles were categorized with respect to their context on space for restoration, anatomic considerations(bone quantity and density), radiographic techniques, implant selection(number, position, diameter and surface), tilted and pterygoid implants, short implants, occlusal considerations, and success rates of implants placed in the posterior region. The results derived from the review process were described under several different topic headings to give readers a clear overview of the literature. In general, it was observed that the use of dental implants in posterior region requires a careful treatment plan. It is important that the practitioner has knowledge about the theme to evaluate the treatment parameters. | 3 | Glutamine and glutamate supplementation raise milk glutamine concentrations in lactating gilts显示文摘Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in milk, and lactation is associated with increased glutamine utilization both for milk synthesis and as a fuel for the enlarged small intestine. A number of recent studies have indicated that lactation is accompanied by a mild catabolic state in which skeletal muscle proteins are degraded to provide amino acids that are used to synthesize additional glutamine. In this study we tested the hypothesis that supplemental L-glutamine or the commercially available glutamine supplement Aminogut (2.5% by weight mixed into daily feed) provided to gilts from 30 days prior to parturition until 21 days post-parturition would prevent a decrease in skeletal muscle glutamine while increasing the glutamine content of the milk. Muscle glutamine content decreased (P < 0.05) in control animals during lactation but this was prevented by supplementation with either L-glutamine or Aminogut. In this study, neither lactation nor supplementation had any effect on plasma glutamine or glutamate content. Free glutamine, and the total glutamine plus glutamate concentrations in milk from the control and the Aminogut group rose (P < 0.05) during the first 7 days of lactation, with milk concentrations in the L-glutamine supplemented group showing a similar trend (P = 0.053). Milk glutamate remained constant between day 7 and 21 of lactation in the control and L-glutamine supplemented groups, but by day 21 of lactation the free glutamine, glutamate, and glutamine plus glutamate concentrations in milk from Aminogut-treated gilts were higher than those of control gilts. Thus dietary glutamine supplementation can alleviate the fall in intramuscular glutamine content during lactation in gilts, and may alleviate some of the catabolic effects of lactation. | 5 | Thermal behaviour analysis in a porcelainhoused ZnO surge arrester by computer simulations and thermography显示文摘In this article,an analysis of heat transfer in a porcelain-housed ZnO surge arrester is presented.Due to the fact that ZnO-based surge arresters are key components for protection and reliability of electrical systems,it is necessary to seek techniques to assure correct assessment.In porcelain-housed arresters,the air gap leads to an increased thermal resistance between the ambient and the varistor column.Consequently,a thermal analysis must consider convection and radiation heat transfer mechanisms,besides heat conduction.This study proposes the use of computational simulations in combination with thermography as a tool for a temperature-based estimation of the varistor state.For the analysis,temperature rise tests were performed in a 69-kV ceramic-housed arrester to measure material emissivity and produce data to fit the simulated response.Furthermore,the thermal response of the surge arresters subject to an impulsive energy input was evaluated.The simulations allow to relate varistors temperature and housing temperature with regard to a specified amount of dissipated power.The obtained results show that the used technique can be an effective method for arrester monitoring and may allow to define assessing criteria for a porcelain-housed arrester based on housing temperature measurements. | Arthur F.Andrade Edson G.Costa Josué M.B.Fernandes Helem M.M.Alves Cícero R.C.Amorim Filho | 2019 | High Voltage2019，4，3： | 2 |
