1Effects of Laser Shock Processing on Mechanical Properties of Laser Welded ANSI 304 Stainless Steel Joint显示文摘With the rapid development of engineering component with integration,high-speed and multi-parameter,traditional techniques haven't met practical needs in extreme service environment.Laser welding,a new welding technology,has been widely used.However,it would generate the drop of mechanical properties for laser welded joint due to its thermal effect.Laser shock processing(LSP) is one of the most effective methods to improve the mechanical properties of laser welded ANSI 304 stainless steel joint.In this paper,the effects of LSP on the mechanical properties of laser welded ANSI 304 stainless steel joint have been investigated.The welded joint on the front of the tensile samples is treated by LSP impacts,and the overlapping rate of the laser spot is 50%.The tensile test of the laser welded joint with and without LSP impacts is carried out,and the fracture morphology of the tensile samples is analyzed by scanning electron microscope(SEM).Compared with the yield strength of 11.70 kN,the tensile strength of 37.66 kN,the yield-to-tensile strength ratio of 0.310 7,the elongation of 25.20%,the area reduction of 32.68% and the elastic modulus of 13 063.876 MPa,the corresponding values after LSP impacts are 14.25 kN,38.74 kN,0.367 8,26.58%,42.29% and 14 754.394 MPa,respectively.Through LSP impacts,the increasing ratio of the yield strength and tensile strength are 121.79% and 102.87%,respectively;the elongation and area reduction are improved by 5.48% and 29.38%,respectively.By comparing with coarse fracture surface of the welded joint,the delamination splitting with some cracks in the sharp corner of the welded joint and asymmetric dimples,LSP can cause brighter fracture surface,and finer and more uniform dimples.Finally,the schematic illustration of dimple formation with LSP is clearly described.The proposed research ensures that the LSP technology can clearly improve the yield strength,tensile strength,yield-to-tensile strength ratio,elongation,area reduction and elastic modulus of the welded joint.The enhancement mechanism of LSP on laser welded ANSI 304 stainless steel joint is mainly due to the fact that the refined and uniform dimples effectively delay the fracture of laser welded joints.ZHANG Yongkang ZHANG Lei LUO Kaiyu SUN Guifang LU Jinzhong DAI Fengze ZHONG Junwei 2012Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2012,25,2:11
2Contactless vital signs monitoring based on few‐mode and multi‐core fibers显示文摘Few-mode and multi-core fibers are proposed and demonstrated for contactless vital signs monitoring in this paper.In-line optical fiber interferometers using few-mode and multi-core fibers are designed and offset splicing is utilized for mode excitation.Extinction ratio and insertion loss are analyzed experimentally under different offset distances.The fabricated in-line interferometers are packaged under the mattress to realize contactless vital signs signals collection.By using filtering techniques,both respiration and heartbeat signals can be recovered successfully,and respiration as well as heartbeat ratio are obtained.Mode excitation and interference are theoretically analyzed in few-mode fiber while curvature sensing experiments using multi-core fiber interferometer are performed to verify its excellent performance on vital signs monitoring.The successful demonstration on contactless vital signs monitoring makes few-mode and multi-core fibers promising candidates for healthcare applications.Fengze Tan Weimin Lyu Shuyang Chen Zhengyong Liu Changyuan Yu 2020Opto-Electronic Advances2020,3,5:2
3Rheological Behavior and Process Prediction of Low Viscosity Epoxy Resin for RTM显示文摘The rheological behavior of a low epoxy resin system-SR8100/SD8734 for RTM in aviation industry was studied with viscosity experiments. The dual-Arrhenius rheological model and the improved engineering viscosity model were introduced and compared with the experimental data. The results indicated that the viscosity in the earlier stage calculated by dual-Arrhenius model matched the experimental data. As rising to 400 m·Pas, the viscosity calculated by the improved engineering model was closer to the experimental data. 10Magnetic properties and magnetic entropy change of perovskite manganites La_(0.9-x)Eu_xSr_(0.1)MnO_3(x=0.000,0.075) by experimental method and numerical fitting显示文摘Polycrystalline samples La_(0.9-x)EuxSr_(0.1)MnO_3(x = 0.000, 0.075) were prepared by the standard solid-state reaction method. The results show that the samples preform a characteristic of clusters spin-glass state at low temperature. The samples show a characteristic of ferromagnetism(FM) characteristic in the temperature range of 15-125 K and 15-150 K respectively; the samples show preformed clusters in the temperature range of 125-343 K and 150-325 K, respectively, the samples show paramagnetism(PM)characteristic above 343 and 325 K, respectively. The second-order transitions are found at 118 and 135 K for undoped and doped sample, respectively. When the applied magnetic field is 7 T, the maximum magnetic entropy change |△S_M| value of the samples is near the Curie temperature(Tc), and the value of|△S_M| reaches 2.76 and 3.03 J/(K kg), respectively. In addition, the relative cooling power(RCP) is found to be 425.28 and 443.53 J/kg. The numerical fitting data fit well with experimental data. 14Structure,magnetism and magnetic thermal properties of heavy rare earth Tb1-xTmxFeO3(x=0.00,0.15,0.25) polycrystalline samples显示文摘Tb1-xTmxFeO3(x = 0.00,0.15,0.25) polycrystalline series were synthesized using a solid-state reaction.Our results show that all three prepared samples are in a distorted orthogonal structure and their space group is pbnm.When the Tm3+doping amount increases,the characteristics of the spin-flip of the sample decreases following an initial increase at the beginning;the antiferromagnetic property almost reaches zero;the magnetization decreases at the beginning but increases later on.The maximum magnetic entropy change and magnetic refrigeration effect RCP are reduced at varying degrees.Under a 7 T magnetic field,the maximum magnetic entropy change,△Smax,for the three samples of Tb1-xTmxFeO3 with x=0.00,0.15,0.25 is 13.78,-9.28,and 10.69 J/(K·kg),respectively;the magnetic refrigeration capacity(RCP) is 316.85,175.2,and 297.60 J/kg,respectively.In summary,doping with the element Tm reduces △Smax and RCP of the sample.Since the maximum magnetic entropy change and the cooling capacity for the three samples are relatively large,they can be used as an alternative for magnetic refrigerants.Xiang Jin Jianjun Zhao Hongwei Chen Fengze Cao Li Cheng Taichao Su Wenxing Wang Jia Liu Yi Lu 2020Journal of Rare Earths2020,38,6:1
