| 1 | Discovery of the Early Paleozoic post-collisional granites in northern margin ofthe Erguna massif and its geological significance显示文摘The Luoguhe intrusion, located in MoheCounty, Heilongjiang Province, is mainly composed of mon-zogranite, quartz diorite and granodiorite, with minor dio-rite, tonalite, quartz monzodiorite, quartz monzonite, syeno-granite and alkali-feldspar granite. The intrusion can bedivided into two lithological units, i.e. quartz diorite andmonzogranite units, with affinities to high-K calc-alkalineseries. The quartz diorite unit (SiO2: 54.79%―58.30%Na2O/CaO: 0.79―1.53 and Shand index: 0.77―0.82) belongsto metaluminous rocks. And the monzogranite unit (SiO2:65.29%―66.45%, Na2O/CaO: 1.73―3.43 and Shand index<1.05) can be considered as weakly peraluminous rocks. Theintrusion is characterized by high REE abundance (∑REE =180.2―344.3 μg/g), medium-strong negative Eu anomalies(δ Eu = 0.33―0.82), weak REE fractionation [(La/Yb)N =4.12―10.45], enrichments in Rb, Th, U, K, La, Ce, Nd, HfZr and Sm, but strong depletions of Ba, Nb, Ta, Sr, P and TiThese characteristics of major, REE and trace elements in-dicate that the intrusion was formed in a transitional tectonicsetting from compressional to extensional regime, which canbe classified as post-collisional granitoids. SHRIMP U-Pbzircon analyses yield ages of 517±9 and 504±8 Ma for thequartz diorite and monzogranite units, respectively. | 2 | The poisoning and regeneration effect of alkali metals deposed over commercial V_2O_5-WO_3/TiO_2 catalysts on SCR of NO by NH_3显示文摘In this study,commercial V2O5-WO3/TiO2catalysts were deactivated by loading with alkali metals(K and Na).These catalysts were then regenerated by washing with either deionized water or 0.5 mol/L H2SO4(through the ultrasonic-assisted method).The samples used in this research were characterized by NH3-temperature programmed desorption(TPD),and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).Results showed that Na2O and K2O doping can poison the V2O5-WO3/TiO2catalyst and that the poisoning effect of Na2O was stronger than that of K2O.However,the Na2O-loaded sample was easier to regenerate than the K2O-loaded sample.The surfaces of catalysts can be sulfated by washing with dilute sulfuric acid because strong acid sites adhere to the catalyst surface.SO42-could also promote catalyst activity.As indicated by the NH3-TPD findings,the deposition of Na2O and K2O could also reduce the amount of desorbed ammonia and destabilize the acid sites,especially strong chemisorption sites.XPS results revealed that catalysts were deactivated by the decrease in the concentration of chemisorbed oxygen[the Oa/(Oα+Oβ)ratio].In the Na2O-doped catalyst,much chemisorbed oxygen was lost(from 28.8%to10.6%).However,the decrease in the Oa/(Oα+Oβ)ratio was less significant in the K2O-doped catalyst(from28.8%to 23.5%).Nonetheless,the binding energies of O1s broadened with respect to both high and low energy.In particular,the binding energy of chemisorbed oxygen increased from 531.5 to 531.8 eV. | Fengyu Gao Xiaolong Tang Honghong Yi Shunzheng Zhao Tongtong Zhang Dong Li Ding Ma | 2014 | Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,31: | 19 |
| 3 | Establishing eutrophication assessment standards for four lake regions, China显示文摘The trophic status assessment of lakes in diferent lake regions may provide important and fundamental information for lake trophic state classification and eutrophication control. In this study, a region-specific lake eutrophication assessment standard was established through a frequency distribution method based on chlorophyll-a concentration. The assessment standards under the oligotrophic state for lakes in the Eastern plain, Yungui Plateau, Northeast Plain and Mountain Mongolia-Xinjiang regions are total phosphorus of 0.068,0.005, 0.011, 0.005 mg/L; total nitrogen of 1.00, 0.16, 0.37, 0.60 mg/L; Secchi depth of 0.60, 8.00, 1.55, 3.00 m; and CODMn of2.24, 1.00, 5.11, 4.00 mg/L, respectively. Moreover, a region-specific comprehensive trophic level index was developed to provide an understandable assessment method for the public. The results indicated that the frequency distribution analysis based on chlorophyll-a combined with trophic level index provided a useful metric for the assessment of the lake trophic status. In addition, the diference of eutrophication assessment standards in diferent lake regions was analyzed, which suggested that the sensitivities of algae to nutrients and the assessment standard of trophic status possessed significant regional diferences for the four lake ecoregions. | 4 | Early Permian–Late Triassic Magmatism in the Tuotuohe Region of the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau: Constraints on the Tectonic evolution of the Western Segment of the Jinshajiang Suture显示文摘In this paper we present new zircon U–Pb ages, whole-rock major and trace element analyses, and zircon Hf isotopic data for magmatic rocks in the Tuotuohe region of the western segment of the Jinshajiang suture. Our aim is to constrain the Early Permian–Late Triassic tectonic evolution of the region. Zircons from the magmatic rocks of the Tuotuohe region are euhedral–subhedral in shape and display fine-scale oscillatory zoning as well as high Th/U ratios(0.4–4.6), indicating a magmatic origin. The zircon U–Pb ages obtained using LA–ICP–MS are 281 ± 1 Ma, 258 ± 1 Ma, 244 ± 1 Ma, and 216 ± 1 Ma, which indicate magmatism in the Early Permian–Late Triassic. A diorite from Bashihubei(BSHN) has SiO2 = 57.18–59.97 wt%, Al2O3 = 15.70–16.53 wt%, and total alkalis(Na2O + K2O) = 4.46–6.34 wt%, typical of calc-alkaline and metaluminous series. A gabbro from Bashibadaoban(BSBDB) belongs to the alkaline series, and is poor in SiO2(45.46–54.03 wt%) but rich in Al2O3(16.19–17.39 wt%) and total alkalis(Na2O + K2O = 5.48–6.26 wt%). The BSHN diorite and the BSBDB gabbro both display an enrichment of LREEs and LILEs and depletion of HFSEs, and they have no obvious Eu anomaly; they have relatively low MgO contents(2.54–4.93 wt%), Mg# values of 43 to 52, and low Cr and Ni contents(8.07–33.6 ppm and 4.41–14.2 ppm, respectively), indicating they differentiated from primitive mantle magmas. They have low Nb/U, Ta/U, and Ce/Pb ratios(1.3–9.6, 0.2–0.8, and 0.1–18.1, respectively), and their initial Hf isotopic ratios range from +9.6 to +16.9(BSHN diorite) and +6.5 to +12.6(BSBDB gabbro), suggesting their primary magmas were derived mainly from the partial melting of a mantle wedge that had been metasomatized by subduction fluids. | 5 | Formation of active oxygen species on single-atom Pt catalyst and promoted catalytic oxidation of toluene显示文摘Catalytic oxidation of toluene over noble metal catalysts is a representative reaction for elimination of volatile organic compounds(VOCs).However,to fully understand the activation of molecular oxygen and the role of active oxygen species generated in this reaction is still a challenging target.Herein,MgO nanosheets and single-atom Pt loaded MgO(Pt SA/MgO)nanosheets were synthesized and used as catalysts in toluene oxidation.The activation process of molecular oxygen and oxidation performance on the two catalysts were contrastively investigated.The Pt SA/MgO exhibited significantly enhanced catalytic activity compared to MgO.The oxygen vacancies can be easily generated on the Pt SA/MgO surface,which facilitate the activation of molecular oxygen and the formation of active oxygen species.Based on the experimental data and theoretical calculations,an active oxygen species promoted oxidation mechanism for toluene was proposed.In the presence of H2O,the molecular oxygen is more favorable to be dissociated to generate•OH on the oxygen vacancies of the Pt SA/MgO surface,which is the dominant active oxygen species.We anticipate that this work may shed light on further investigation of t10.1007/s12274-020-2765-1he oxidation mechanism of toluene and other VOCs over noble metal catalysts. | Shunzheng Zhao Yanfeng Wen Xijun Liu Xianyun Pen Fang Lü Fengyu Gao Xizhou Xie Chengcheng Du Honghong Yi Dongjuan Kang Xiaolong Tang | 2020 | Nano Research2020,13,6: | 12 |
| 6 | Geochronology, Geochemistry and Sr-Nd-Pb-Hf Isotopes of No. I Complex from the Shitoukengde Ni–Cu Sulfide Deposit in the Eastern Kunlun Orogen, Western China: Implications for the Magmatic Source, Geodynamic Setting and Genesis显示文摘The Shitoukengde Ni-Cu deposit, located in the Eastern Kunlun Orogen, comprises three mafic–ultramafic complexes, with the No. I complex hosting six Ni-Cu orebodies found recently. The deposit is hosted in the small ultramafic bodies intruding Proterozoic metamorphic rocks. Complexes at Shitoukengde contain all kinds of mafic-ultramafic rocks, and olivine websterite and pyroxene peridotite are the most important Ni-Cu-hosted rocks. Zircon U-Pb dating suggests that the Shitoukengde Ni-Cu deposit formed in late Silurian(426–422 Ma), and their zircons have εHf(t) values of-9.4 to 5.9 with the older T_(DM1) ages(0.80–1.42 Ga). Mafic-ultramafic rocks from the No. I complex show the similar rare earth and trace element patterns, which are enriched in light rare earth elements and large ion lithophile elements(e.g., K, Rb, Th) and depleted in heavy rare earth elements and high field strength elements(e.g., Ta, Nb, Zr, Ti). Sulfides from the deposit have the slightly higher δ^(34)S values of 1.9–4.3‰ than the mantle(0 ± 2‰). The major and trace element characteristics, and Sr-Nd-Pb and Hf, S isotopes indicate that their parental magmas originated from a metasomatised, asthenospheric mantle source which had previously been modified by subduction-related fluids, and experienced significant crustal contamination both in the magma chamber and during ascent triggering S oversaturation by addition of S and Si, that resulted in the deposition and enrichment of sulfides. | 8 | Spatial Properties of Mismatch Negativity in Patients with Disorders of Consciousness显示文摘In recent decades, event-related potentials have been used for the clinical electrophysiological assessment of patients with disorders of consciousness(DOCs). In this paper, an oddball paradigm with two types of frequencydeviant stimulus(standard stimuli were pure tones of 1000 Hz; small deviant stimuli were pure tones of 1050 Hz; large deviant stimuli were pure tones of 1200 Hz) was applied to elicit mismatch negativity(MMN) in 30 patients with DOCs diagnosed using the JFK Coma Recovery ScaleRevised(CRS-R). The results showed that the peak amplitudes of MMN elicited by both large and small deviant stimuli were significantly different from baseline.In terms of the spatial properties of MMN, a significant interaction effect between conditions(small and large deviant stimuli) and electrode nodes was centered at the frontocentral area. Furthermore, correlation coefficients were calculated between MMN amplitudes and CRS-R scores for each electrode among all participants to generate topographic maps. Meanwhile, a significant negative correlation between the MMN amplitudes elicited by large deviant stimuli and the CRS-R scores was also found at the frontocentral area. | 9 | Sulfur-encapsulated in heteroatom-doped hierarchical porous carbon derived from goat hair for high performance lithium–sulfur batteries显示文摘Biomass-derived carbon materials have aroused widespread concern as host material of sulfur to enhance electrochemical performances for lithium–sulfur batteries. Herein, goat hair, as a low-cost and eco-friendly precursor, is employed to fabricate cauliflower-like in-situ nitrogen, oxygen and phosphorus tri-doped porous biomass carbon(NOPC) by a facile activation with H_3PO_4 and carbonization process.The morphology and microstructure of NOPC can be readily tuned by altering pyrolysis temperature. The as-prepared NOPC matrix material carbonized at 600 °C possesses 3D hierarchical porous structure, high specific surface area(535.352 m^2 g^(-1)), and appropriate pore size and pore size distribution. Encapsulating sulfur into the NOPC depends on a stem-melting technology as cathode materials of Li–S batteries. Due to the synergistic effect of special physical structure and inherent tri-doping of N, O and P, electrons and ions transfer and utilization of active sulfur in the materials are improved, and the shuttle behaviors of soluble lithium polysulfides are also mitigated. Consequently, the S/NOPC-600 composite exhibits excellent electrochemical performance, giving a high initial discharge capacity of 1185 mA h g^(-1) at 0.05 C and maintaining a relatively considerable capacity of 489 m A h g^(-1) at 0.2 C after 300 cycles. | 10 | The INO80 chromatin remodeling complex promotes thermo-morphogenesis by connecting H2A.Z eviction and active transcription in Arabidopsis.显示文摘Global warming imposes a major threat to plant growth and crop production. In some plants including Arabidopsis thaliana, elevated temperatures induce a series of morphological and developmental adjustments, termed thermomorphogenesis to facilitate plant cooling under high-temperature conditions. Plant thermal response is suppressed by histone variant H2A.Z. At warm temperatures, H2A.Z is evicted from nucleosomes at thermo-responsive genes, resulting in their expression changes. However, the mechanisms that regulate H2A.Z eviction and subsequent transcription changes are largely unknown. Here, we show that the INO80 chromatin remodeling complex (INO80-C) promotes thermomorphogenesis and activates the expression of thermo-responsive and auxin-related genes. INO80-C associates with PHYTOCHROME-INTERACTING FACTOR 4 (PIF4), a potent regulator in thermomorphogenesis, and mediates temperature-induced H2A.Z eviction at PIF4 targets. Moreover, INO80-C directly interacts with COMPASS-like and transcription elongation factors to promote active histone modification Histone H3 lysine 4 trimethylation (H3K4me3) and RNA Polymerase II (RNA Pol II) elongation, leading to the thermal induction of transcription. Notably, transcription elongation factors SPT4 and SPT5 are required for the H2A.Z eviction at PIF4 targets, suggesting the cooperation of INO80-C and transcription elongation in H2A.Z removal. Results indicated that the total As concentrations in sediment samples of lakes of the East Plain Lake Ecoregion are higher than those of Yungui Plateau Lake Ecoregion. Residual As is the main fraction in sediment samples of lakes from both ecoregions, followed by reducible As and soluble or oxidizable As. The total As is correlated to oxidizable As and residual As in sediment samples from both lake ecoregions. As distribution in sediment samples of lakes of the East Plain Ecoregion appears to be affected by human activity, while the As origin mainly comes from natural sources in sediment samples of lakes in the Yungui Plateau Ecoregion. | 17 | Gene expression profiles in an hepatitis B virus transfected hepatoblastoma cell line and differentially regulated gene expression by interferon-α显示文摘AIM: To study interactions between hepatitis B virus (HBV) and interferon-a in liver- derived cells. METHODS. mRNAs were separately isolated from an HBV-transfected cell line (HepG2 2.2.15) and its parental cell line (HePG2) pre- and post-interferon-a (IFN-a) treatment at 6, 24 and 48 h, followed by hybridization with a cDNA microarray filter dotted with 14 000 human genes. After hybridization and scanning of the arrays, the data were analyzed using ArrayGauge software. The microarray data were further verified by Northern blot analysis. RESULTS: Compared to HepG2 cells, 14 genes with known functions were down-regulated 3 to 12- magnitudes, while 7 genes were up-regulated 3-13 magnitudes in HepG2 2.2.15 cells prior to IFN-a treatment. After interferon-a treatment, the expression of four genes (vascular endothelial growth factor, tyrosine phosphate 1E, serine protein with IGF-binding motif and one gene of clathrin light chain) in HepG2 2.2.15 were up-regulated, while one gene encoding a GTP-binding protein, two genes of interferon-induced kinases and two proto-oncogenes were further down- regulated. Interestingly, under IFN-a treatment, a number of differentially regulated genes were new ESTs or genes with unknown functions. CONCLUSION: The up-regulated genes in HepG2 2.2.15 cell line suggested that under IFN-a treatment, these repressed cellular genes in HBV infected hepatooltes could be partially restored, while the down- regulated genes were most likely the cellular genes which could not be restored under interferon treatment. | 18 | Geochronology, Geochemistry, and Hf Isotopic Compositions of Monzogranites and Mafic-Ultramafic Complexes in the Maxingdawannan Area, Eastern Kunlun Orogen, Western China: Implications for Magma Sources, Geodynamic Setting, and Petrogenesis显示文摘This paper presents zircon U-Pb-Hf isotopic compositions and whole-rock geochemical data for monzogranites and mafic-ultramafic complexes of the Maxingdawannan area in the western end of the east Kunlun orogenic belt, western China. The data are used to determine the ages, petrogenesis, magma sources, and geodynamic setting of the studied rocks. U-Pb zircon dating indicates that monzogranites and gabbros of the complexes were emplaced at 399 and 397 Ma, respectively. The monzogranites are shoshonitic, with high SiO2, Al2 O3 and total-alkali contents, and low TFeO, MgO, TiO2 and P2 O5 contents. The mafic-ultramafic complexes are characterized by low Si O2 contents. The monzogranites display enrichment in light rare-earth elements(LREE) and large-ion lithophile elements(LILE), depletion in heavy REEs(HREE) and high-field-strength elements(HFSE), and negative Eu anomalies(Eu/Eu*=0.36–0.48). The mafic-ultramafic complexes are also enriched in LREEs and LILEs, and depleted in HREEs and HFSEs, with weak Eu anomalies(Eu/Eu*=0.84–1.16). Zircon εHf(t) values for the monzogranites and mafic-ultramafic complexes range from-6.68 to 1.11 and-1.81 to 6.29, with zircon model ages of 1 812–1 319 Ma(TDM2) and 1 087–769 Ma(TDM1), respectively. Hf isotopic data indicate that primary magmas of the monzogranites are originated from partial melting of ancient lower crust during the Paleo-Mesoproterozoic, with a juvenile-crust component. Primitive magmas of the mafic-ultramafic complexes are likely originated from a depleted-mantle source modified by slab-derived fluids and contaminated by crustal components. | 20 | Microbial bioavailability of dissolved organic nitrogen(DON) in the sediments of Lake Shankou,Northeastern China显示文摘Dissolved organic nitrogen(DON)extracted from Lake Shankou sediments using KCl was isolated into hydrophobic and hydrophilic fractions.The bioavailabilities of the hydrophobic and hydrophilic fractions to three types of bacterial communities collected from sediments,activated sludge and compost products were examined.The DON recoveries obtained by DAX-8 and cation exchange resins treatment were 96.17% ± 1.58% and 98.14% ±0% for the samples obtained from N4 and N14 stations,respectively.After 25 days of incubation at 25°C,most DON(59% to 96%)was degraded.Hydrophilic DON exhibited a higher reduction rate than hydrophobic DON during the growth phase.Untreated wastewater from Changshuihe town was the main degradable DON source to station N4,and 93% of hydrophilic DON and 80% of hydrophobic DON were degraded.Station N14 received a large amount of refractory DON from forest soils and exhibited DON degradation rates of 82% and 71% for the hydrophilic and hydrophobic fractions,respectively.Amino acid contents and fluorescence intensities were also analyzed.Approximately 27% to 74% of amino acids were taken up by day 5,and their concentration gradually increased in the following days due to the decomposition of dissolved proteins.Parallel factor analysis resulted in identification of tryptophan-like proteins,tyrosine-like proteins and FA-like substances.During the growth phase,40%–51% of the tryptophan-like proteins were taken up by bacteria,and the accumulation of tyrosine-like proteins was attributed to the release of biotic substances.The concentration of the FA-like substances decreased due to microbial decomposition. | Mingzhou Su Jingtian Zhang Shouliang Huo Beidou Xi Fei Hua Fengyu Zan Guangren Qian Jianyong Liu | 2016 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2016,28,4: | 5 |
