| 1 | Identification and Characterization of Drought Stress-Responsive Novel microRNAs in Dongxiang Wild Rice显示文摘MicroRNAs(miRNAs) are non-coding small RNAs, which play important regulatory roles in response to biotic and abiotic stresses. Dongxiang wild rice(Oryza rufipogon, DXWR) can survive in extreme drought environment, but its molecular mechanism of drought resistance is still largely unknown. To further explore miRNA regulatory mechanisms involved in drought resistance, we identified 138 novel miRNAs in DXWR using small RNA sequencing and bioinformatics approaches, and found that the expression levels of 67 novel miRNAs were significantly affected by drought stress. In total, 200 candidate target genes were predicted and annotated for the drought stress-responsive novel miRNAs. Gene Ontology(GO) analysis and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG) pathways suggested that most of the target genes were related to metabolism. Stem-loop quantitative real-time PCR(qRT-PCR) results exhibited high concordance with sequencing data, which confirmed that miRNA expression patterns based on small RNA sequencing in the present study were reliable. Meanwhile, qRT-PCR validated the inverse expression patterns between several miRNAs and their target genes. These results will enhance our understanding of miRNA regulatory mechanisms in response to drought stress in DXWR, and can serve as an important reference for the protection and utilization of this valuable genetic resource. | ZHANG Fantao LUO Yuan ZHANG Meng ZHOU Yi CHEN Hongping HU Biaolin XIE Jiankun | 2018 | Rice science2018,25,4: | 3 |

| 3 | Replication of large area nanoimprint stamp with small critical dimension loss显示文摘In this paper, the replication process of large area nanoimprint stamp with small critical dimension(CD) loss was investigated, using the thin residual layer nanoimprint lithography(NIL) technology. The residual layer thickness was optimized by changing the spin-coated resist thickness. The dependences of the residual layer etching rate on gas flow, chamber pressure, and RF power were investigated, and the optimized process conditions were established.By means of the thin residual layer NIL technique and optimized residual layer etching process, large area stamp with small CD loss and multi-orientation patterns was successfully replicated on 2-inch SiO2/Si wafer. The CD loss was controlled within 5 nm.The replicated stamp showed high performance in the patterning with thermal NIL.The replication process reported in this work could also be used to fabricate large area nanostructures with small CD loss. | MENG FanTao GUAN Le WANG ZhiWen HAN ZhiTao CHU JinKui | 2012 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,3: | 1 |
| 4 | Polysulfide nanoparticles-reduced graphene oxide composite aerogel for efficient solar-driven water purification显示文摘Along with the environmental pollution, the scarcity of clean water seriously threatens the sustainable development of human society.Recently, the rapid development of solar evaporators has injected new vitality into the field of water purification. However, the industry faces a considerable challenge of achieving comprehensive purification of ions, especially the efficient removal of mercury ions. In this work, we introduce an ideal mercury-removal platform based on facilely and cost-effectively synthesized polysulfide nanoparticles(PSNs). Further development of PSN-functionalized reduced graphene oxide(PSN-rGO) aerogel evaporator results in achieving a high evaporation rate of 1.55 kg m^(-2)h^(-1)with energy efficiency of 90.8% under 1 sun. With the merits of interconnected porous structure and adsorption ability, the photothermal aerogel presents overall purification of heavy metal ions from wastewater. During solar desalination, salt ions can be rejected with long-term stability. Compared with traditional water purification technologies, this highly efficient solar evaporator provides a new practical method to utilize clean energy for clean water production. | Fantao Meng Yuang Zhang Shufen Zhang Benzhi Ju Bingtao Tang | 2023 | Green Energy & Environment2023,8,1: | 1 |
| 5 | How do lateral septum projections to the ventral CA1 influence sociability?显示文摘Social dysfunction is a risk factor for several neuropsychiatric illnesses.Previous studies have shown that the lateral septum(LS)-related pathway plays a critical role in mediating social behaviors.Howeve r,the role of the connections between the LS and its downstream brain regions in social behavio rs remains unclea r.In this study,we conducted a three-chamber test using electrophysiological and chemogenetic approaches in mice to determine how LS projections to ventral CA1(vCA1)influence sociability. Our res ults showed that gamma-aminobutyric acid(GABA)-e rgic neuro ns were activated following social experience, and that social behavio rs were enhanced by chemogenetic modulation of these neurons. Moreover,LS GABAergic neurons extended their functional neural connections via vCA1 glutamatergic pyramidal neurons, and regulating LSGABA→vCA1Gluneural projections affected social behaviors, which were impeded by suppressing LSprojecting vCA1 neuronal activity or inhibiting GABAAreceptors in vCA1.These findings support the hypothesis that LS inputs to the vCA1 can control social prefe rences and social novelty behaviors. These findings provide new insights rega rding the neural circuits that regulate sociability. | Dan Wang Di Zhao Wentao Wang Fengai Hu Minghu Cui Jing Liu Fantao Meng Cuilan Liu Changyun Qiu Dunjiang Liu Zhicheng Xu Yameng Wang Yu Zhang Wei Li Chen Li | 2024 | Neural Regeneration Research2024,19,8: | 0 |
