1Multiple model efficient particle filter based track-before-detect for maneuvering weak targets显示文摘It is a tough problem to jointly detect and track a weak target, and it becomes even more challenging when the target is maneuvering. The above problem is formulated by using the Bayesian theory and a multiple model(MM) based filter is proposed. The filter presented uses the MM method to accommodate the multiple motions that a maneuvering target may travel under by adding a random variable representing the motion model to the target state. To strengthen the efficiency performance of the filter,the target existence variable is separated from the target state and the existence probability is calculated in a more efficient way. To examine the performance of the MM based approach, a typical track-before-detect(TBD) scenario with a maneuvering target is used for simulations. 3Scientific objectives of the Hot Universe Baryon Surveyor(HUBS) mission显示文摘The Hot Universe Baryon Surveyor(HUBS) is a proposed space-based X-ray telescope for detecting X-ray emissions from the hot gas content in our universe. With its unprecedented spatially-resolved high-resolution spectroscopy and large field of view,the HUBS mission will be uniquely qualified to measure the physical and chemical properties of the hot gas in the interstellar medium, the circumgalactic medium, the intergalactic medium, and the intracluster medium. These measurements will be valuable for two key scientific goals of HUBS, namely to unravel the AGN and stellar feedback physics that governs the formation and evolution of galaxies, and to probe the baryon budget and multi-phase states from galactic to cosmological scales. In addition to these two goals, the HUBS mission will also help us solve some problems in the fields of galaxy clusters, AGNs, difuse X-ray backgrounds, supernova remnants, and compact objects. 4Biodiversity conservation in China:A review of recent studies and practices显示文摘Biodiversity conservation plays an important role in the sustainable development of human society.China had made significant progress in biodiversity conservation studies and practices.This paper reviews major achievements in China in the past decades,especially those since 2010.In terms of the science behind biodiversity conservation,Chinese scholars have made significant contributions to priority research subjects,including mechanisms for maintaining biological communities and the relationship between biodiversity and ecosystem functioning.Simultaneously,biodiversity conservation and management systems specific to China have been basically established.The Chinese Government and researchers have undertaken a number of investigations,scientific studies,and monitoring,and have established relevant databases.With efforts taken to protect and restore biodiversity and ecosystems,the concept of biodiversity has gradually become popular in China.This review is an attempt to share with the world the learning from China’s progress towards becoming an ecological civilization and highlights that the efforts towards biodiversity conservation need to be organically integrated with sustainable development goals.Wei Wang Chunting Feng Fangzheng Liu Junsheng Li 2020Environmental Science and Ecotechnology2020,,2:0
