2Bioactivated in vivo assembly(BIVA)peptide-tetraphenylethylene(TPE)probe with controllable assembled nanostructure for cell imaging显示文摘The emergence of fluorescent light-up molecular probe,which can specifically turn on their fluorescent in the presence of stimulation factors,has open up a new opportunity to advance biosensing and bioimaging.In this work,we designed and synthesized a peptide-AIE conjugate probe for cell imaging with controlled in situ assembled nanostructures.The modular designed probe is consisted of a selfassembled peptide-tetraphenylethene(TPE)motif,a fibroblast activation protein alpha(FAP-α)responsive motif,a hydrophilic motif and a targeting motif.The probe exhibits typically turn-on fluorescence property specifically triggered by FAP-α,which is a significant overexpressed membrane protein on pancreatic tumor cells.Interestingly,the peptide modified the TPE dramatically impacts the assembled nanostructure,which can be modulated by peptide sequences.As a result,the peptide FF(PhePhe)modification of TPE as the self-assembled motif provides a suitable balance of the probe with lightup property and nanofiber assembled structure in situ.Finally,our probe could effectively detect the FAP-αon tumor cells with high specificity.Meantime,the nanofibers in situ assembled on the surface of CAFs enhanced the probe accumulation and prolonged the retention for cell imaging.We envision that this study may inspire new insights into the design of nanostructure controlled AIE light-up bio-probe.Shizhao Lu Xiaoyan Guo Fangling Zhang Xiaodong Li Meishuai Zou Li-Li Li 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,6:2

4An Electrochemical Synthesis Approach for Tetrasubstituted Olefins显示文摘Since tetrasubstituted olefins serve as the key structure motifs in a large number of biologically active compounds,methods for synthesis of tetrasubstituted olefins are highly desirable.Among various synthetic methodologies,the most known strategies are the functionalization of olefins,alkynes,and allenes.For example,Zhang,Gosselin and co-workers prepared a series of tetrasubstituted olefins via Suzuki-Miyaura coupling (Scheme 1a).[1] Morandi and co-workers reported a palladium-catalyzed intermolecular aryliodination of internal alkynes (Scheme 1b).[2] Ma and co-workers prepared a series of tetrasubstituted olefins by using readily available organozinc reagents and 2,3-allenals (Scheme 1c).[3] Despite extensive advances,the reported methods often require pre-prepared starting materials,inevitably leading to some by-products.Recently,under the supervision of Prof.Wang and Lei,we and Yang et al.reported an unprecedented electrochemical oxidative Csp3-H/S-H cross-coupling reaction between thiophenols and acetonitrile (Scheme 1d),yielding a series of tetrasubstituted olefins under exogenous-oxidant-free conditions.Fangling Lu Yong Yuan 2019Chinese Journal of Chemistry2019,37,7:2
5Evolution of the “Zhejiang Spirit” During the Forty Years of Reform and Opening-up显示文摘The 'Zhejiang spirit' refers to a theoretical summary of the group consciousness, mental state, value orientation and ideological realm, which is, as a motivating power, owned and recognized by all Zhejiang people, and carries Zhejiang peculiarities. President Xi Jinping, during his term of office in Zhejiang, launched a number of seminars and activities to seek 'a Zhejiang spirit that moves with the times.' Forty years of reform and opening-up, the 'Zhejiang spirit' has experienced an evolution that can be summarized as three improvements: from spontaneous formation to deliberate cultivation, from something limited to eastern Zhejiang to an integrating force that spans the entire Zhejiang Province, and from a mere existence to a role that functions adequately. The 'Zhejiang spirit' is extracted from the humanistic spirits shaped in all corners of Zhejiang province. It is 'an instrumental ensemble played across the entire province,' and represents a certain judgment and interpretation.
