3Magnetic logic inverter from crossed structures of defect-free graphene with large unsaturated room temperature negative magnetoresistance显示文摘Introducing defects into graphene has been widely utilized to realize the negative magnetoresistanee(MR)effect in graphene.However,the reported graphene negative MR exhibits only^10%under 10 T at room temperature to date,which extremely limits the resolution of future spintronics devices.Moreover,intentional defect introduction can also cause unintentional degradation in graphene's intrinsic properties.In this paper,we report a magnetic logic inverter based on a crossed structure of defect-free graphene,resulting in a substantial gain of 4.81 mV/T while exhibiting room temperature operation.This crossed structure of graphene shows large unsaturated room temperature negative MR with an enhancement of up to 1,000%at 9 T.A transition behavior between negative and positive MR is observed in this crossed structure and the transition temperature can be tuned by a ratio of the conductivity between in-plane and out-of-plane transport.Our results open an intriguing path for future two-dimensional spintronics device applications.Chao Feng Junxiang Xiang Ping Liu Xiangqi Wang Jianlin Wang Guojing Hu Meng Huang Zhi Wang Zengming Zhang Yuan Liu Yalin Lu Bin Xiang 2019Nano Research2019,12,10:1

5Effects of restoration modes on the spatial distribution of soil physical properties after land consolidation: a multifractal analysis显示文摘Soil physical properties(SPP)are considered to be important indices that reflect soil structure,hydrological conditions and soil quality.It is of substantial interest to study the spatial distribution of SPP owing to the high spatial variability caused by land consolidation under various land restoration modes in excavated farmland in the loess hilly area of China.In our study,three land restoration modes were selected including natural restoration land(NR),alfalfa land(AL)and maize land(ML).Soil texture composition,including the contents of clay,silt and sand,field capacity(FC),saturated conductivity(Ks)and bulk density(BD)were determined using a multifractal analysis.SPP were found to possess variable characteristics,although land consolidation destroyed the soil structure and decreased the spatial autocorrelation.Furthermore,SPP varied with land restoration and could be illustrated by the multifractal parameters of D1,ΔD,ΔαandΔf in different modes of land restoration.Owing to multiple compaction from large machinery in the surface soil,soil particles were fine-grained and increased the spatial variability in soil texture composition under all the land restoration modes.Plough numbers and vegetative root characteristics had the most significant impacts on the improvement in SPP,which resulted in the best spatial distribution characteristics of SPP found in ML compared with those in AL and NR.In addition,compared with ML,Δαvalues of NR and AL were 4.9-and 3.0-fold that of FC,respectively,andΔαvalues of NR and AL were 2.3-and 1.5-fold higher than those of Ks,respectively.These results indicate that SPP can be rapidly improved by increasing plough numbers and planting vegetation types after land consolidation.Thus,we conclude that ML is an optimal land restoration mode that results in favorable conditions to rapidly improve SPP.KE Zengming LIU Xiaoli MA Lihui TU Wen FENG Zhe JIAO Feng WANG Zhanli 2021Journal of Arid Land2021,13,12:0
6Dynamic Simulation and Test Verifcation of Hydraulic Automatic Tensioner for an Engine Timing Chain Drive System显示文摘As a fundamental component of an automobile engine’s timing chain drive system, the hydraulic automatic tensioner signifcantly enhances fuel economy while minimizing system vibrations and noise. However, there is a noticeable lack of research on automatic hydraulic tensioners. This study presents a comprehensive calculation approach for the principal parameters of a hydraulic automatic tensioner. An efective method, grounded in hydraulics and multibody dynamics, was introduced for estimating the dynamic response of such a tensioner. The simulation model developed for the hydraulic tensioner is characterized by its rapid dynamic response, consistent operation, and high accuracy. The dynamic behavior of the tensioner was analyzed under varying boundary conditions, using sinusoidal signal excitation. It was observed that the maximum damping force increases with a decreasing leakage gap. Conversely, an increase in oil temperature or air content leads to a decrease in the maximum damping force. The reaction forces derived from these calculations align well with experimental results. This calculation and simulation approach ofers considerable value for the design of innovative hydraulic tensioners.
