1Facile synthesis of PtCu nanowires with enhanced electrocatalytic activity显示文摘Using Te nanowires as a sacrificial template, We developed a facile wet-chemical method for the synthesis of bimetallic PtCu nanowires. The as-prepared PtCu nanowires possess a porous structure and high aspect ratio. Transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, energy dispersive spectroscopy, energy dispersive X-ray spectrum elemental mapping, inductively coupled plasma- mass spectroscopy, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) measurement techniques are used to analyze the structure and composition of the as-prepared nanowires. The XPS results verify that the incorporation of Cu led to the modified electronic state of Pt. Electrocatalytic results prove that the as-prepared nanowires present superior activity for methanol and ethanol electrooxidation in an alkaline solution.Wei Hong Jin Wang Erkang Wang 2015Nano Research2015,8,7:11

6Integration of two-dimensional morphology and porous surfaces to boost methanol electrooxidation performances of PtAg alloy nanomaterials显示文摘As an attempt to minimize the usage amounts of noble metals in catalysis,PtAg alloy nanocrystals with a porous nanosheet morphology were fabricated through a galvanic replacement reaction.During the reaction,ascorbic acid was added to the solution to protect the Ag triangular nanoplates from being totally etched. Structural characterizations indicated that the obtained nanocrystals had thin porous basal planes and winding edges with abundant bulges.Such unique two-dimensional porous architectures endowed this nanomaterial with plenty of catalytically active sites and structural benefits in electron and mass moving, as well as morphology stability.Electrochemical tests proved that the PtAg porous nanosheets had superior catalytic activity and durability towards methanol electrooxidation in basic media.Specifically,the mass and specificactivities of the PtAg porous nanosheets were 4.5and 2.7times higher than those of a commercial Pt/C catalyst.In addition to the special structures,the introduction of Ag enhanced the catalytic performances of the PtAg porous nanosheets.Changshuai Shang Yaxiao Guo Erkang Wang 2018Nano Research2018,11,12:2
7Investigation of self-assembled protein dimers through an artificial ion channel for DNA sensing显示文摘Artificial nanopores have become promising tools for sensing DNA.Here,we report a new technique for sensing DNA through a conical-shaped nanopore embedded in track-etched polyethylene terephthalate(PET)membrane.Two different streptavidin-conjugated monovalent DNA probes were prepared that can bind to two distinct segments(at either end) of the target DNA.The size of target DNA-linked to the two streptavidin-conjugated monovalent DNA probes is double that of the individual probes.By precisely controlling the tip diameter of the conical nanopore embedded in the PET polymer,events due to the translocation of the streptavidin-conjugated monovalent DNA probes through the nanopore can be filtered and purposely undetected,whereas the current pulses due to the translocation of the target DNA-induced selfassembled complexes can be detected.The two streptavidin-conjugated DNA probes cannot be linked by multimismatched DNA.Therefore,multi-mismatched(nonspecific) DNA will not induce any current pulse signatures.The current pulse signatures for the self-assembled complex can be used to confirm the presence of the target DNA.The size-dependent detection of self-assembled complexes on the molecular level shows strong promise forthe detection of biomolecules without interference from the probes.Siqi Zhang Ting Sun Erkang Wang Jiahai Wang 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,35:2

15SERS imaging for label-free detection of the phospholipids distribution in hybrid lipid membrane显示文摘A label-free and low-cost mapping method based on SERS imaging was reported for illustrating the distribution of phospho- lipids with similar structures in binary lipid membranes on Ag nanoparticles (Ag NPs) films. The Ag NPs films exhibited strong SERS activity and good reproducibility which were investigated with p-aminothiophenol (p-ATP) as probe molecules. Atomic force microscope (AFM) measurement proved that compact lipid membranes formed on the Ag NPs films. Basing on the Ag NPs films, the SERS spectra of phospholipids in the mixed lipid membranes were achieved and the inherent vibration of 1,2-dimyristoyl-sn-lycero-3-phosphoglycerol, sodium salt (DMPG), 1482 cm-1, was used to distinguish between DMPG and dimyristoylphosphatidylcholine (DMPC). The proportions of phospholipids in the mixed lipid membranes were represented by the intensity ratio of peaks at 1482 cm-1 and 1650 cm-1 (R1482/1650) simultaneously: increasing R1482/1650 indicated higher proportion of DMPG and lower proportion of DMPC. SERS imaging of the lipid membranes was constructed as a combination of spacial information and the semiquantitative detection of phospholipids according to R1482/1650, which showed that the charged phospholipids, DMPG, aggregated in the hybrid lipid membranes. The presented mapping strategy based on SERS imaging carried out on Ag NPs films supplied a facile, label-free and inexpensive way for potential applications in the research on the structure of the lipid membrane, such as lipid domains and rafts.REN Wen LIU JiYang GUO ShaoJun WANG ErKang 2011Science China Chemistry2011,54,8:1
