1Active stabilization methods of electric power systems with constant power loads:a review显示文摘Modern electric power systems have increased the usage of switching power converters.These tightly regulated switching power converters behave as constant power loads(CPLs).They exhibit a negative incremental impedance in small signal analysis.This negative impedance degrades the stability margin of the interaction between CPLs and their feeders,which is known as the negative impedance instability problem.The feeder can be an LC input filter or an upstream switching converter.Active damping methods are preferred for the stabilization of the system.This is due to their higher power efficiency over passive damping methods.Based on different sources of damping effect,this paper summarizes and classifies existing active damping methods into three categories.The paper further analyzes and compares the advantages and disadvantages of each active damping method.Mingfei WU Dylan Dah-Chuan LU 2014Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2014,2,3:6
2Lead halide perovskite nanowires stabilized by block copolymers for Langmuir-Blodgett assembly显示文摘The rapid development of solar cells based on lead halide perovskites(LHPs)has prompted very active research activities in other closely-related fields.Colloidal nanostructures of such materials display superior optoelectronic properties.Especially,onedimensional(1D)LHPs nanowires show anisotropic optical properties when they are highly oriented.However,the ionic nature makes them very sensitive to external environment,limiting their large scale practical applications.Here,we introduce an amphiphilic block copolymer,polystyrene-block-poly(4-vinylpyridine)(PS-P4VP),to chemically modify the surface of colloidal CsPbBr3 nanowires.The resulting core-shell nanowires show enhanced photoluminescent emission and good colloidal stability against water.Taking advantage of the stability enhancement,we further applied a modified Langmuir-Blodgett technique to assemble monolayers of highly aligned nanowires,and studied their anisotropic optical properties.Hao Liu Martin Siron Mengyu Gao Dylan Lu Yehonadav Bekenstein Dandan Zhang Letian Dou A.Paul Alivisatos Peidong Yang 2020Nano Research2020,13,5:4

6An empirical model to form and evolve galaxies in dark matter halos显示文摘Based on the star formation histories of galaxies in halos with different masses, we develop an empirical model to grow galaxies in dark matter halos. This model has very few ingredients, any of which can be associated with observational data and thus be efficiently assessed. By applying this model to a very high resolution cosmological N-body simulation, we predict a number of galaxy properties that are a very good match to relevant observational data. Namely, for both centrals and satellites, the galaxy stellar mass functions up to redshift z ≈ 4 and the conditional stellar mass functions in the local universe are in good agreement with observations. In addition, the two point correlation function is well predicted in the different stellar mass ranges explored by our model. Furthermore, after applying stellar population synthesis models to our stellar composition as a function of redshift, we find that the luminosity functions in the 0.1_u,0.1_g,0.1_r,0.1_i and 0.1_z bands agree quite well with the SDSS observational results down to an absolute magnitude at about –17.0. The SDSS conditional luminosity function itself is predicted well. Finally, the cold gas is derived from the star formation rate to predict the HI gas mass within each mock galaxy. We find a remarkably good match to observed HI-to-stellar mass ratios.
