1Analysis of the regional spectral properties in northwestern South China Sea based on an empirical orthogonal function显示文摘This study presents an analysis of the spectral characteristics of remote sensing reflectance(Rrs)in northwestern South China Sea based on the in situ optical and water quality data for August 2018.Rrswas initially divided into four classes,classes A to D,using the max-classification algorithm,and the spectral properties of whole Rrs were characterized using the empirical orthogonal function(EOF)analysis.Subsequently,the dominant factors in each EOF mode were determined.The results indicated that more than 95%of the variances of Rrs are partly driven by the back-scattering characteristics of the suspended matter.The initial two EOF modes were well correlated with the total suspended matter and back-scattering coefficient.Furthermore,the first EOF modes of the four classes of Rrs(A-D Rrs-EOF1)significantly contributed to the total variances of each Rrs class.In addition,the correlation coefficients between the amplitude factors of class A-D Rrs-EOF1 and the variances of the relevant water quality and optical parameters were better than those of the unclassified ones.The spectral shape of class ARrs-EOF1 was governed by the absorption characteristic of chlorophyll a and colored dissolved organic matter(CDOM).The spectral shape of class B Rrs-EOF1 was governed by the absorption characteristic of CDOM since it exhibited a high correlation with the absorption coefficient of CDOM(ag(λ)),whereas the spectral shape of class C Rrs-EOF1 was governed by the back-scattering characteristics but not affected by the suspended matter.The spectral shape of class D Rrs-EOF1 exhibited a relatively good correlation with all the water quality parameters,which played a significant role in deciding its spectral shape.Dongyang Fu Yuye Huang Dazhao Liu Shan Liao Guo Yu Xiaolong Zhang 2020Acta Oceanologica Sinica2020,39,7:3
2Study on ecosytem service function change of island based on remote sensing显示文摘Based on the interpretation of the remote sensing data presented by the resource satellite, this paper states the fact that the land-use area in Donghai Island, which is located in the south of Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province,had expanded by 576.71 hm2 in the 25 years from 1986 to 2010 because of human activities such as land reclamation; in the meantime, great changes in types of land cover on the island have occurred. The definite change in land use leads to the remarkable transition in its ecosystem service value. Therefore, by applying the Costanza method in this paper to quantificationally analyze the changes in its ecosystem services on this island;the Costanza method is a calculation technique that shows the service value per unit area of island. It is found that from 1986 to 2010, especially in the recent years, due to the rapid development in the petrifaction, steel and port industries, the areas of cultivated land, woodland, grassland and desert have decreased in different degrees, while the lands for residence, industry and traffic construction and the areas of water and wetlands have increased.Consequently, compared with the number of RMB 547.57×106 yuan per year in 1986, the ecosystem service value of Donghai Island was greatly reduced to RMB 493.94×106 yuan per year in 2010. As for the spatial distribution, it presents a feature that it is higher in the west and low in the east. 4Strengthening effect of super typhoon Rammasun(2014)on upwelling and cold eddies in the South China Sea显示文摘Typhoon is one of the frequent natural disasters in coastal regions of China.As shown in many studies,the impact of typhoons on the South China Sea(SCS)should not be overlooked.Super typhoon Rammasun(2014)was studied that formed in the northwestern Pacific,passed through the SCS,then landed in the Leizhou Peninsula.Remote sensing data and model products were used to analyze the spatiotemporal variations of the cold eddies,upwelling,sea surface temperature,mixed layer depth,rainfall,sea surface salinity,suspended sediment concentration,and surface-level anomaly.Results confirm the constant presence of upwelling and cold eddies in the southeast of Hainan(north of the Zhongsha Islands)and the southeast of Vietnam in July.In addition,we found the strengthening effect of super typhoon Rammasun on the upwelling and cold eddies in the SCS.The major reasons for the continuous decrease in sea surface temperature and the slow regaining of seawater temperature were the enhanced upwelling and vertical mixing caused by the typhoon.The increasing of the surface runoff in the Indochina Peninsula was mainly affected by the typhoon,with some contribution for the southeast of Vietnam’s cold eddy and upwelling.Xue LI Xiaolong ZHANG Dongyang FU Shan LIAO 2021Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2021,39,2:1
5Factors affecting spring bloom in the South of Cheju Island in the East China Sea显示文摘A soil circulation occurs in the south of Cheju Island in the spring. Nutrients and its influence on chlorophyll a(Chl a) around the circulations were studied from April 9 to May 6, 2007. Spring bloom with elevated concentrations of Chl a was observed during the investigation. High concentrations of phosphate, nitrate and silicate at 0.6, 12, and 8 mmol/m3, respectively, were detected. A low water temperature prevented the growth of phytoplankton. 6Parameter selection and model research on remote sensing evaluation for nearshore water quality显示文摘Using remote sensing technology for water quality evaluation is an inevitable trend in marine environmental monitoring. However, fewer categories of water quality parameters can be monitored by remote sensing technology than the 35 specified in GB3097-1997 Marine Water Quality Standard. Therefore, we considered which parameters must be selected by remote sensing and how to model for water quality evaluation using the finite parameters. In this paper, focused on Leizhou Peninsula nearshore waters, we found N, P, COD, PH and DO to be the dominant parameters of water quality by analyzing measured data. Then, mathematical statistics was used to determine that the relationship among the five parameters was COD>DO>P>N>p H. Finally, five-parameter, fourparameter and three-parameter water quality evaluation models were established and compared. The results showed that COD, DO, P and N were the necessary parameters for remote sensing evaluation of the Leizhou Peninsula nearshore water quality, and the optimal comprehensive water quality evaluation model was the fourparameter model. 7Controllable resistive switching of STO:Ag/SiO2-based memristor synapse for neuromorphic computing显示文摘Resistive random-access memory(RRAM)is a promising technology to develop nonvolatile memory and artificial synaptic devices for brain-inspired neuromorphic computing.Here,we have developed a STO:Ag/SiO_(2) bilayer based memristor that has exhibited a filamentary resistive switching with stable endurance and long-term data retention ability.The memristor also exhibits a tunable resistance modulation under positive and negative pulse trains,which could fully mimic the potentiation and depression behavior like a bio-synapse.Several synaptic plasticity functions,including long-term potentiation(LTP)and long-term depression(LTD),paired-pulsed facilitation(PPF),spike-rate-dependent-plasticity(SRDP),and post-tetanic potentiation(PTP),are faithfully implemented with the fabricated memristor.Moreover,to demonstrate the feasibility of our memristor synapse for neuromorphic applications,spike-timedependent plasticity(STDP)is also investigated.Based on conductive atomic force microscopy observations and electrical transport model analyses,it can be concluded that it is the controlled formation and rupture of Ag filaments that are responsible for the resistive switching while exhibiting a switching ratio of~10;along with a good endurance and stability suitable for nonvolatile memory applications.Before fully electroforming,the gradual conductance modulation of Ag/STO:Ag/SiO_(2)/p^(++)-Si memristor can be realized,and the working mechanism could be explained by the succeeding growth and contraction of Ag filaments promoted by a redox reaction.This newly fabricated memristor may enable the development of nonvolatile memory and realize controllable resistance/weight modulation when applied as an artificial synapse for neuromorphic computing.Nasir Ilyas Jingyong Wang Chunmei Li Hao Fu Dongyang Li Xiangdong Jiang Deen Gu Yadong Jiang Wei Li 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,2:1
8Spatiotemporal characteristics and remote sensing estimation of colored dissolved organic matter around the Leizhou Peninsula显示文摘Colored dissolved organic matter(CDOM)is an important optically active substance in marine environment.Its biochemical conservatism makes it an important indicator to offshore pollution process.Monitoring the content,composition,and diffusion process of CDOM is a good approach to analyze the terrestrial input,optical properties,and ecological environment of offshore areas.The spatiotemporal characteristics of CDOM around the Leizhou Peninsula were analyzed based on field observation data collected in the autumn 2020 and spring 2021,and an empirical inversion model of the ag(355)(absorption coefficient at 355 nm)and spectral slope(Sg)(g stands for gelbstoff/gilvin,which is called CDOM)based on Sentinel-3A ocean and land color instrument(OLCI)images was constructed.The results show(1)the order of average ag(355)value around the Leizhou Peninsula was east coast(0.503/m)>Qiongzhou Strait(0.502/m)>west coast(0.365/m);(2)the best band combinations of CDOM inversion in spring and autumn were(B4+B11)/B3 and(B7-B1)/B6(B stands for the band of spectral images),and the final inversion results are close to the measured results,indicating that the model has good accuracy;(3)the S_(g)value of the CDOM absorption spectrum was fitted to the hyperbolicexponential model.The fitting accuracy of the model was higher than those of the exponential model and the hyperbolic model,and the best S_(g)inversion model was constructed by selecting Sg(275-295)and Sg(250-295)in spring and autumn;(4)the spatial distributions of ag(355)and S_(g)were inverted,and CDOM in the waters around the Leizhou Peninsula originated from terrestrial organic matter carried by coastal aquaculture zones and runoff in the northeast Zhanjiang and the northern Beibu Gulf.Dongyang FU Shiyun WEI Guo YU Yafei LUO Huabing XU Zhaoguang CHEN 2023Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2023,41,4:0
9Aerosol properties over an urban site in central East China derived from ground sun-photometer measurements显示文摘Sun-photometer measurements at Hefei,an urban site located in central East China,were examined to investigate the variations of aerosol loading and optical properties.It is found that aerosol optical thickness(AOT)keeps higher in winter/spring and gets relatively lower in summer/autumn.The large AOT in winter is caused by anthropogenic sulfate/nitrate aerosols,while in spring dust particles elevate the background aerosol loading and the excessive fine-mode particles eventually lead to severe pollution.There is a dramatic decline of AOT during summer,with monthly averaged AOT reaching the maximum in June and soon the minimum in August.Meanwhile,aerosol size decreases consistently and single scattering albedo(SSA)reaches its minimum in July.During summertime large-sized particles play a key role to change the air from clean to mild-pollution situation,while the presence of massive small-sized particles makes the air being even more polluted.These complicated summer patterns are possibly related to the three key processes that are active in the high temperature/humidity environment concentrating on sulfate/nitrate aerosols,i.e.,gas-to-particle transformation,hygroscopic growth,and wet scavenging.Regardless of season,the increase of SSA with increasing AOT occurs across the visible and near-infrared bands,suggesting the dominant negative/cooling effect with the elevated aerosol loading.The SSA spectra under varying AOT monotonically decrease with wavelength.The relatively large slope arises in summer,reinforcing the dominance of sulfate/nitrate aerosols that induce severe pollution in summer season around this city.LIU Qi DING WeiDong XIE Lei ZHANG JinQiang ZHU Jun XIA XiangAo LIU DongYang YUAN RenMin FU YunFei 2017Science China Earth Sciences2017,60,2:0
10Effectiveness of Qiangjijianli capsule on experimental autoimmune myasthenia gravis显示文摘BACKGROUND: Experimental autoimmune myasthenia gravis(EAMG) and anti-AchR antibody of human myasthenia gravis are the same immune globulin.This antibody restricts the activity of nicotinic acetylcholine receptor and the amount of receptor binding sites is decreased,so myasthenia gravis occurs.OBJECTIVE: To observe the therapeutic effect and mechanism of action of Qiangjijianli capsule on EAMG rats.DESIGN:A randomized controlled animal experiment.SETTING: Experimental Animal Center of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.MATERIALS: Acetylcholine receptors(AchR)were extracted from electric skate's electric organ which lives in the sea near Guangzhou.It had high biological activity and the protein content was 1.63 g/L.Qiangjijianli capsule (Astragalus mongholicus,Codonopsis pilosula,Atractylodes macrocephala,Angelica sinensis,Bupleurum chinense,Cairo morningglory root or leaf,Glycyrrhixa uralensis,etc.0.5 g crude drug per capsule) was bought from the Manufacturing Laboratory of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine with the Batch No.89-11-1.METHODS:This experiment was carried out in the Experimental Animal Center of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from May to August 1990.①Adult female SD rats were immunized with AchR.The animals' movement condition was observed and recorded everyday. Ten rats were chosen as normal control group.and they were not given any treatment and raised normally.After modeled,20 successful rats were randomly assigned into 2 groups:treatmental group and model group. 2 mL Qiangjijianli capsule suspension(1 g)was intragastrically administrated into each rat of treatmental group for 30 days; The same amount of clean water was intragastrically administrated into the rats of model group for 30 days.(2)Serum AchR antibody was measured with ABC-ELISA method. After administration,the rats were sacrificed.The complete diaphragmatic muscle was extracted for in vitro receptor binding test.The constitution of N-AchR permilligram of tissue was measured with FT-603 well-type γscintillation detector and FH408 calibrater.⑧t test was used for the comparison of difference of mean value of two samples.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:The effect of Qiangjijianli capsule on the amount of binding site of serum AchR antibody and nicotine-like acetylcholinergic receptor(N-AChR).RESU LTS:Before Qiangjijianli capsule treatment,serum AchR antibody titre was close between model group and treatmental group(0.82±0.15 vs,0.79±0.12,P>0.05):After Qiangjijianli capsule treatment,serum AchR antibody titre of treatmental group was significantly decreased(0,45±0.11,t=6.602,P<0.01),and that in the treatmental group did not change significantly(0.71±0.13,P>0.05). So,serum AchR antibody titre of treatmental group was significantly lower than that of model group(t=5.780,P<0.01).③The number of N-AchR of normal control group was significantly more than that of model group[(1503±156)mg·min-1 vs.(1118±128)mg·min-1,t=6.034,P<0.01].The number of N-AchR of treatmental group was significantly more than that of model group[(1277±143)mg·min-1 vs.(1118±128)mg·min-1,t=2.619,P<0.05].③After the treatment of Qiangjijianli capsule,all of the six rats which had clinical symptoms in treatmental group did well more or less,while in model group,the six rats had no change except one.CONCLUSION: Qiangjijianli capsule can improve the symptoms of myasthenia gravis by immunological regulation and pharmacological effect of N-AchR.Shunmin Li Bo Fu Yuyan Li DongYang Shudong Yang 2006Neural Regeneration Research2006,1,7:0
