2Microstructural regulation and properties enhancement of MgO-CaO ceramics by doping Y_(2)O_(3)显示文摘MgO-CaO ceramics with enhanced microhardness and hydration resistance were successfully prepared by doping Y_(2)O_(3) in this work.The effects of introducing Y_(2)O_(3) on the microstructure and properties of MgO-CaO ceramics were investigated.The microstructural regulation effects of Y_(2)O_(3) additive on MgO,CaO,and MgO-CaO ceramics were analyzed comparatively.The results show that Y_(2)O_(3) dissolves into the CaO lattice to form solid solution in CaO ceramics,and no obvious intergranular phase forms.While the Y_(2)O_(3) additive leads to the micro structural reconstruction in MgO and MgO-CaO ceramics.By adding Y_(2)O_(3),SiO_(2) impurity from magnesium source reacts with CaO to form the silicate phases containing Y^(3+)ions in MgO-CaO ceramics.The increase in the MgO/CaO interface and the microstructural reconstruction synergistically improves the microhardness and hydration resistance of MgO-CaO ceramics markedly.Nian Yi Yan Ma Zhoufu Wang Hao Liu Xitang Wang Yunjie Dong Zhongfeng Xia Yuxuan Zhu Chengji Deng 2023Journal of Rare Earths2023,41,11:1
3Insights into the dual-roles of alloying elements in the growth of Sn whiskers显示文摘The growth of Sn whiskers from Ti_(2)SnC/Sn-X(X=Sn,Bi,Pb,Ga)samples was studied in this work to understand the effect of alloying elements on whiskering behaviors.The mobility of source Sn atoms relating with the formation and migration of defects was found to be the critical factor dominating the growth rate,with the gathering of which to grow whiskers on the surface acts as an effective means to lower the enthalpy.As a result,the source Sn atoms would migrate to whisker root spontaneously,making the growth of whiskers the nature of materials,and external factors like compressive stress or oxidation are no more necessary but facilitate the whiskering process by promoting the mobility of source Sn atoms.Yan Zhang Chengjie Lu Yun Dong Min Zhou Jiandang Liu Hongjun Zhang Bangjiao Ye ZhengMing Sun 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,22:0
4Expression and possible role of Smad3 in postnecrotizing enterocolitis stricture显示文摘Objective To investigate the expression of Smad3(mothers against decapentaplegic homolog 3)protein in postnecrotizing enterocolitis stricture and its possible mechanism of action.Methods We used immunohistochemistry to detect the expression characteristics of Smad3 and nuclear factor kappa B(NF-κB)proteins in human postnecrotizing enterocolitis stricture.We cultured IEC-6(crypt epithelial cells of rat small intestine)in vitro and inhibited the expression of Smad3 using siRNA technique.Quantitative PCR,western blotting,and ELISA were used to detect the changes in transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1),NF-κB,tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),and zonula occludens-1(ZO-1)messenger RNA(mRNA)and protein expressions in IEC-6 cells.CCK8 kit and Transwell cellular migration were used to detect cell proliferation and migration.Changes in epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)markers(E-cadherin and vimentin)in IEC-6 cells were detected by immunofluorescence technique.Results The results showed that Smad3 protein and NF-κB protein were overexpressed in narrow intestinal tissues and that Smad3 protein expression was positively correlated with NF-κB protein expression.After inhibiting the expression of Smad3 in IEC-6 cells,the mRNA expressions of NF-κB,TGF-β1,ZO-1,and VEGF decreased,whereas the mRNA expression of TNF-αdid not significantly change.TGF-β1,NF-κB,and TNF-αprotein expressions in IEC-6 cells decreased,whereas ZO-1 and intracellular VEGF protein expressions increased.IEC-6 cell proliferation and migration capacity decreased.There was no significant change in protein expression levels of EMT markers E-cadherin and vimentin and also extracellular VEGF protein expression.Conclusions We suspect that the high expression of Smad3 protein in postnecrotizing enterocolitis stricture may promote the occurrence and development of secondary intestinal stenosis.The mechanism may be related to the regulation of TGF-β1,NF-κB,TNF-α,ZO-1,and VEGF mRNA and protein expression.This may also be related to the ability of Smad3 to promote epithelial cell proliferation and migration.Rui Chen Chengjie Lv Xiaoxia Zhao Dong Ma Dengming Lai Yun Zhao Luyin Zhang Jinfa Tou 2022World Journal of Pediatric Surgery2022,5,1:0
