1Contribution of functional KIR3DL1 to ankylosing spondylitis显示文摘Increasing evidence points to a role for killer immunoglobulin-like receptors(KIRs)in the development of autoimmune diseases.In particular,a positive association of KIR3DS1(activating receptor)and a negative association of KIR3DL1(inhibitory receptor)alleles with ankylosing spondylitis(AS)have been reported by several groups.However,none of the studies analyzed these associations in the context of functionality of polymorphic KIR3DL1.To better understand how the KIR3DL1/3DS1 genes determine susceptibility to AS,we analyzed the frequencies of alleles and genotypes encoding functional(KIR3DL1*F)and non-functional(KIR3DL1*004)receptors.We genotyped 83 AS patients and 107 human leukocyte antigen(HLA)-B27-positive healthy controls from the Russian Caucasian population using a two-stage sequence-specific primer PCR,which distinguishes KIR3DS1,KIR3DL1*F and KIR3DL1*004 alleles.For the patients carrying two functional KIR3DL1 alleles,those alleles were additionally genotyped to identify KIR3DL1*005 and KIR3DL1*007 alleles,which are functional but are expressed at low levels.KIR3DL1 was negatively associated with AS at the expense of KIR3DL1*F but not of KIR3DL1*004.This finding indicates that the inhibitory KIR3DL1 receptor protects against the development of AS and is not simply a passive counterpart of the segregating KIR3DS1 allele encoding the activating receptor.However,analysis of genotype frequencies indicates that the presence of KIR3DS1 is a more important factor for AS susceptibility than the absence of KIR3DL1*F.The activation of either natural killer(NK)or T cells via the KIR3DS1 receptor can be one of the critical events in AS development,while the presence of the functional KIR3DL1 receptor has a protective effect.Nevertheless,even individuals with a genotype that carried two inhibitory KIR3DL1 alleles expressed at high levels could develop AS.Ivan V Zvyagin Ilgar Z Mamedov Olga V Britanova Dmitriy B Staroverov Evgeni L Nasonov Anna G Bochkova Anna V Chkalina Alexei A Kotlobay Dmitriy O Korostin Denis V Rebrikov Sergey Lukyanov Yuri B Lebedev Dmitriy M Chudakov 2010Cellular & Molecular Immunology2010,7,6:5

10Hemostasis of massive bleeding from esophageal tumor:A case report显示文摘BACKGROUND Esophageal cancer is a common type of cancer and serious bleeding from esophageal tumors can occur in routine clinical practice.The arrest of bleeding from esophageal tumor is not a trivial task,which can sometimes require non-standard solutions.We report a case of successful hemostasis of massive bleeding from esophageal tumor performed by a novel two-balloon catheter inserted endoscopically,with a local hemostatic treatment applied.CASE SUMMARY A 36-years old male patient with advanced esophageal cancer developed bleeding from the tumor following endoscopic stenting with a self-expanding metal stent.Due to the ineffectiveness of standard approaches,after a medical conference,the patient was treated with a novel method based on the use of a two-balloon catheter creating an isolated area in esophagus and locally dispersing hemostatic polysaccharide powder inside the isolated interior.Hemostasis was successful and subsequent endoscopic examination revealed the presence of organized clot and localized defect,which was coagulated in a planned manner.CONCLUSION The authors present a new catheter-based method of hemostasis of esophageal tumor bleeding.Aleksei A Kashintsev Dmitriy S Rusanov Mariya V Antipova Sergey V Anisimov Oleg K Granstrem NikolaiYu Kokhanenko Konstantin V Medvedev Eldar B Kutumov Anastasya A Nadeeva Vitali Proutski 2022World Journal of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy2022,14,10:1

20Influence of dust particles on spatial distributions of particles and fluxes in positive column of glow discharge显示文摘The research herein examined the results of numerical simulations of the positive column of a glow discharge in argon dusty plasma using COMSOL Multiphysics software under conditions similar to the project known as PK-4.Various scenarios dealing with formations of spatial distributions of densities and fluxes for charged particles were studied,and evaluations of the influence of dust particles on the discharge were obtained in a wide range of dust densities.Two extreme cases were distinguished:weak dust influence when the densities,fluxes and electric field profiles are not perturbed,and strong dust influence when all three density profiles(electrons,ions and charged dust)in the dust cloud are similar(parallel)to each other,resulting in all created charges in the dust cloud being lost inside the cloud.In such a case,the ambipolar field and the transport of charged particles are decreased in the dust cloud,and any ambipolar flux is almost absent within the cloud.田瑞焕 袁承勋 Dmitrii V BOGDANOV Evgeniy A BOGDANOV Anatoly A KUDRYAVTSEV 周忠祥 2019Plasma Science and Technology2019,21,11:0
