1Preparation and properties of ultra-fine TiCN matrix cermets by vacuum microwave sintering显示文摘Ultra-fine titanium carbonitride(TiCN) matrix materials with a grain size less than 1 μm were successfully prepared by vacuum microwave sintering.The milling process for raw TiCN particles and the microstructure and properties of cermets produced with a composition of 15wt.%WC-17wt.%(Co+Ni)-9wt.%Mo2C-59wt.%Ti0.7N0.3 and sintered by vacuum microwave were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and X-ray diffraction(XRD).The results show that a ball-to-powder mass ratio of 8:1 and a milling time of 50 h provided appropriate conditions for the production of ultra-fine TiCN solid solution powders.The use of vacuum microwave sintering produced cermets with much finer grain and black core structures and higher relative density and hardness than those produced by vacuum sintering technology.ZHANG Hou'an YAN Dike TANG Siwen 2010Rare Metals2010,29,5:4
2Artificial intelligence aided design of film cooling scheme on turbine guide vane显示文摘In recent years,artificial intelligence(AI)technologies have been widely applied in many different fields including in the design,maintenance,and control of aero-engines.The air-cooled turbine vane is one of the most complex components in aero-engine design.Therefore,it is interesting to adopt the existing AI technologies in the design of the cooling passages.Given that the application of AI relies on a large amount of data,the primary task of this paper is to realize massive simulation automation in order to generate data for machine learning.It includes the parameterized three-dimensional(3-D)geometrical modeling,automatic meshing and computational fluid dynamics(CFD)batch automatic simulation of different film cooling structures through customized developments of UG,ICEM and Fluent.It is demonstrated that the trained artificial neural network(ANN)can predict the cooling effectiveness on the external surface of the turbine vane.The results also show that the design of the ANN architecture and the hyper-parameters have an impact on the prediction precision of the trained model.Using this established method,a multi-output model is constructed based on which a simple tool can be developed.It is able to make an instantaneous prediction of the temperature distribution along the vane surface once the arrangements of the film holes are adjusted.Dike Li Lu Qiu Kaihang Tao Jianqin Zhu 2020Propulsion and Power Research2020,9,4:3

4Glycosylation of dentin matrix protein 1 is critical for fracture healing via promoting chondrogenesis显示文摘Fractures are frequently occurring diseases that endanger human health. Crucial to fracture healing is cartilage formation, which provides a bone-regeneration environment. Cartilage consists of both chondrocytes and extracellular matrix (ECM). The ECM of cartilage includes collagens and various types of proteoglycans (PGs), which play important roles in maintaining primary stability in fracture healing. The PG form of dentin matrix protein 1 (DMP1-PG) is involved in maintaining the health of articular cartilage and bone. Our previous data have shown that DMP1-PG is richly expressed in the cartilaginous calluses of fracture sites. However, the possible significant role of DMP1-PG in chondrogenesis and fracture healing is unknown. To further detect the potential role of DMP1-PG in fracture repair, we established a mouse fracture model by using a glycosylation site mutant DMP1 mouse (S89G-DMP1 mouse). Upon inspection, fewer cartilaginous calluses and down-regulated expression levels of chondrogenesis genes were observed in the fracture sites of S89G-DMP1 mice. Given the deficiency of DMP1-PG, the impaired IL-6/JAK/STAT signaling pathway was observed to affect the chondrogenesis of fracture healing. 5Tracing PRX1+cells during molar formation and periodontal ligament reconstruction显示文摘Neural crest-derived mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)are known to play an essential function during tooth and skeletal development.PRX1+cells constitute an important MSC subtype that is implicated in osteogenesis.However,their potential function in tooth development and regeneration remains elusive.In the present study,we first assessed the cell fate of PRX1+cells during molar development and periodontal ligament(PDL)formation in mice.Furthermore,single-cell RNA sequencing analysis was performed to study the distribution of PRX1+cells in PDL cells.The behavior of PRX1+cells during PDL reconstruction was investigated using an allogeneic transplanted tooth model.Although PRX1+cells are spatial specific and can differentiate into almost all types of mesenchymal cells in first molars,their distribution in third molars is highly limited.The PDL formation is associated with a high number of PRX1+cells;during transplanted teeth PDL reconstruction,PRX1+cells from the recipient alveolar bone participate in angiogenesis as pericytes.Overall,PRX1+cells are a key subtype of dental MSCs involved in the formation of mouse molar and PDL and participate in angiogenesis as pericytes during PDL reconstruction after tooth transplantation.Xuyan Gong Han Zhang Xiaoqiao Xu Yunpeng Ding Xingbo Yang Zhiyang Cheng Dike Tao Congjiao Hu Yaozu Xiang Yao Sun 2022International Journal of Oral Science2022,14,1:2
