| 1 | Effects of Sc, Zr and Tion the microstructure and properties of Al alloys with high Mg content显示文摘The effects of trace Sc, Zr, and Ti on the microstructure and hardness of Al alloys with high Mg content (Al-6Mg, Al-8Mg, and Al-10Mg) were studied by optical microscope, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and Brinell hardness. The grain size of the ascast alloys was refined by the addition of Sc and Zr, and it was further refined by the addition of Ti. With the same contents of Sc, Zr, and Ti, an increase in Mg content was beneficial to the refinement due to the solution of Mg into α-Al. The refined microstructures of the as-cast alloys were favorable for Brinell hardness. Addition of Sc, Zr, and Ti to the Al-10Mg alloy results in the improvement of peak hardness and it is about 45% higher than that of the Al-10Mg alloy, which is due to fine precipitations of Al3(Sc1-xZrx), Al3(Sc1-xTix), and Al3(Sc1-x-yZrxTiy). | WANG Xu CHEN Guoqin LI Bing WU Lianmei JIANG Darning | 2010 | Rare Metals2010,29,1: | 18 |

| 3 | Expression, purification of a synthetic fuse-protein-TSF from PF4 and TSP1 fragments and its effect on angio-genesis and tumor growth显示文摘Sequences encoding PF4 (58-70) and TSP1 (429-459) were linked to yield a single gene TSF which encodes the fuse-protein of TSF. The gene was cloned into a pGEX-2T expression vector to generate a protein GST-TSF, which was strongly expressed in E. coli. The purified GST-TSF was degraded with thrombin to generate the protein TSF. With the methods of MTT and wound repair assay, the effects of TSF on the proliferation and migration of EC were detected, respectively. The results showed that TSF significantly suppressed BAEC proliferation and migration in a dose-dependent manner. The fuse protein GST-TSF, and the peptides PF4 (58-70) and TSP1 (429-459) also inhibited BAEC proliferation and migration, respectively, but their inhibition rates were not as high as TSF. Using the CAM assay, it was shown that TSF, GST-TSF, PF4 (58-70) and TSP1 (429-459) inhibited angiogenesis in chick CAM potentially, the effect of TSF was the highest.
