1Metastasis of primary gallbladder carcinoma in lymph node and liver显示文摘AIM: To evaluate the patterns with metastasis of gallbladder carcinoma in lymph nodes and liver.METHODS: A total of 45 patients who had radical surgery were selected. The patterns with metastasis of primary gallbladder carcinoma in lymph nodes and liver were examined histopathologically and classified as TNM staging of the American Joint Committee on Cancer.RESULTS: Of the 45 patients, 29 (64.4%) had a lymph node positive disease and 20 (44.4%) had a direct invasion of the liver. The frequency of involvement of lymph nodes was strongly influenced by the depth of the primary tumor(P = 0.0001). The postoperative survival rate of patients with negative lymph node metastasis was significantly higher than that of patients with positive lymph node metastasis (P = 0.004), but the postoperative survival rate of patients with N1 lymph node metastasis was not significantly different from that of patients with N2 lymph node metastasis (P = 0.3874). The postoperative survival rate of patients without hepatic invasion was significantly better than that of patients with hepatic invasion (P= 0.0177).CONCLUSION: Complete resection of the regional lymph nodes is important in advanced primary gallbladder carcinoma (PGC). The initial sites of liver spread are located mostly in segments Ⅳ and V. It is necessary to achieve negative surgical margins 2 cm from the tumor. 2Multi-Stage Hierarchical Channel Allocation in UAV-Assisted D2D Networks:A Stackelberg Game Approach显示文摘UAV-assisted D2D networks can provide auxiliary communication for areas with poor communication facilities by using the characteristics of easy deployment of unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV),then it becomes a promising technology.However,the coexistence of UAV and D2D aggravates the conflict of spectrum resources.In addition,when the UAV performs the communication service,it will inevitably cause the location change,which will make the original channel allocation no longer applicable.Inspired by the influence of frequent channel switching on channel allocation,we define the communication utility as a tradeoff between the throughput and channel switching cost.In the considered model,we investigate the multi-stage hierarchical spectrum access problem with maximizing aggregate communication utilities in UAV-assisted D2D networks.In particular,due to the hierarchical feature of the considered network,we adopt Stackelberg game to formulate this spectrum access problem where both the throughput and channel switching cost are considered.We prove that the proposed game has a stable Stackelberg equilibrium(SE),and the heterogeneous network based channel allocation(HN-CA)algorithm is proposed to achieve the desired solution.Simulation results verify the validity of the proposed game and show the effectiveness of the HN-CA algorithm.Tao Fang DanWu MengWang Jiaxin Chen 2021China Communications2021,18,2:4
3Value of combining the serum D-lactate, diamine oxidase, and endotoxin levels to predict gut-derived infections in cancer patients显示文摘Objective:This is a retrospective observational cohort study.The objective of this retrospective observational cohort study was to evaluate the value of the combined serum D-lactic acid,diamine oxidase(DAO),and endotoxin levels to predict intestinal barrier impairment and gut-derived infection(GDI)in cancer patients.Methods:Cancer patients receiving chemotherapy or palliative care treatment at our hospital were enrolled in the study.The serum concentrations of DAO,D-lactic acid,and endotoxin were determined using the intestinal barrier function biochemical index analysis system.The patients'infection information came from the hospital's Medicom Prescription Automatic Screening System and themedical records.Three hundred fifty-three cancer patients were included in the study(53.8%female,73.7%cancer stage IV,27.8%had bowel obstruction).Results:The total incidence of GDI was 33.4%(118/353).The median length of hospital stay was 16 days for patients with GDI,compared with 7 days for patients without GDI(P<0.001).The media hospitalization costs were¥27,362.35 for patients with GDI compared with¥11,614.08 for patients without GDI(P<0.001).The serum concentrations of DAO,D-lactic acid,and endotoxin were significantly higher in patients with GDI.As malignant bowel obstruction(MBO)worsened,the concentrations of DAO,D-lactic acid,and endotoxin increased.Multivariate logistic regression models revealed that the DAO,endotoxin,IL-6,and C-reactive protein levels were significantly associated with an increased risk of GDI.In addition,we also found a fivefold increased risk of infection in patients withMBO compared with those without bowel obstruction(OR=6.210,P<0.001).All of the areas under the receiver operating characteristic curve(AUCs)for DAO,D-lactate,and endotoxin to predict GDI were<0.7(AUC=0.648,P<0.001;AUC=0.624,P<0.01;AUC=0.620,P<0.01,respectively).However,when the parameters were combined(DAO+D-lactate+endotoxin),the predictive power increased significantly(AUC=0.797,P<0.001).Moreover,combining these intestinal barrier indicators and the presence of MBO had better power to predict GDI than either alone(AUC=0.837,P<0.001).Conclusions:Combining the serum DAO,D-lactic acid,and endotoxin levels was a better predictor of GDI than any of the indicators alone,and combining these with the diagnosis of MBO could further improve the efficacy for predicting GDI.Shou-Mei Yang Xiao-Dan Zhang Huai-XingMa DanWu XingLiu Hao-Bin Yu Shi-Wei Li Wen-Jun Gao Wei-Wei Liu Su-Yi Li 2023Journal of Nutritional Oncology2023,8,2:0
4Microdetermination of Residual Protein in Penicillin by Resonance Light Scattering Technique with m-Nitrophenylfluorone-Mo(Ⅳ) Complex显示文摘Based on the enhancement of resonance light scattering (RLS) of m-nitrophenylfluorone-Mo(Ⅵ) complex by protein, a novel method for protein microdetermination in Tween 20microemulsion has been developed. Under optimum condition, the linear ranges of bovine serum albumin are 0 ~ 0.03 μg.mL-1 with detection limits of 3.10 ng.mL-1. Most of amino acids and metal ions do not interfere. 5Studies on the Phenylfluorone-Mo(Ⅵ) Complex as Interacting Mode Spectroscopic Probe of Protein in OP Microemulsion Medium显示文摘The application of phenylfluorone (PF)-Mo(VI) complex as a spectroscopic probe is studied. In the presence of OP microemulsion at pH 3.04, PF-Mo(VI) complex combines protein rapidly to form a stable compound and the absorbance at 527 nm is in proportion to the concentration of protein in the range 0~16 μg mL^-1 for bovine serum albumin (BSA). OP microemuslion media is introduced into protein determination, it has increased markedly the sensitivity of the system. The molar absorption coefficient was 5.98×10^6 L mol^-1 cm^-1 for BSA. The assay,with sensitivity, simplicity and tolerance to many foreign substances, is applied to the determination of protein in samples with satisfactory results.
