1Detection of citrus Huanglongbing based on image feature extraction and two-stage BPNN modeling显示文摘Citrus Huanglongbing(HLB),which is spread by the citrus psyllid,is the most destructive disease of citrus industry.While no effective cure for the disease has been reported,detection and removal of infected trees can prevent spreading.Symptoms indicative of HLB can be present in both HLB-positive trees and HLB-negative trees,making identification of infected trees difficult.A detection method for citrus HLB based on image feature extraction and two-stage back propagation neural network(BPNN)modeling was investigated in this research.The identification method for eight different classes including healthy,HLB and non-HLB symptoms was studied.Thirty-four statistical features including color and texture were extracted for each leaf sample,following the two-stage BPNN to model and identify HLB-positive leaves from HLB-negative leaves.The discrimination accuracy can reach approximately 92%which shows that this method based on visual image processing can perform well in detecting citrus HLB.Deng Xiaoling Yubin Lan Xing Xiaqiong Mei Huilan Liu Jiakai Hong Tiansheng 2016International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,6:2
2Regulating the nanoscale intimacy of metal and acidic sites in Ru/γ-Al_(2)O_(3)for the selective conversions of lignin-derived phenols to jet fuels显示文摘Catalytic hydrodeoxygenation(HDO)of biomass-derived oxy-compounds to advanced hydrocarbon fuels usually requires bifunctional catalysts containing metals and acidic sites.The appropriate tuning of metal and/or acidic active sites at interfaces of bifunctional catalysts can significantly improve catalyst activity and product selectivity.Here,4-trifuoromethyl salicylic acid(TFMSA),as a hydrothermal stable organic acid,was employed to tailor the bifunctional interface of Ru/γ-Al_(2)O_(3)to enhance the catalytic performance on converting lignin-derived phenols to jet fuel range cycloalkanes.More than 80%phenol was converted into cyclohexane at 230°C for 1 h over Ru/γ-Al_(2)O_(3)modified by TFMSA,which was about three times higher than that over unmodified Ru/γ-Al_(2)O_(3).X-ray diffraction(XRD),Transmission electron microscope(TEM),H2 chemisorption,and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS)elemental mapping results indicated that Ru nanoparticles and TFMSA were well distributed onγ-Al_(2)O_(3),and a nanoscale intimacy between Ru and TFMSA was reached.Meanwhile,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy after pyridine adsorption(Py-FT-IR)analysis proved that Brønsted acidic sites on the catalytic interfaces of TFMSA modified Ru/γ-Al_(2)O_(3)had been improved.Moreover,the kinetic and density functional theory(DFT)results suggested that the synergistic effects of adjacent Ru nanoparticles and acidic sites were crutial for promoting the rate-limiting conversion step of phenol HDO to cyclohexane.Shanshuai Chen Weichen Wang Xue Li Puxiang Yan Wanying Han Tian Sheng Tiansheng Deng Wanbin Zhu Hongliang Wang 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,3:1

4An efficient and mild recycling of waste melamine formaldehyde foams by alkaline hydrolysis显示文摘Melamine formaldehyde foam(MFF)generates many poisonous chemicals through the traditional recycling methods for organic resin wastes.Herein,a high MFF degradation ratio of ca.97 wt.%was achieved under the mild conditions(160℃)in a NaOH–H2O system with ammelide and ammeline as the main degradation products.The alkaline solvent had an obvious corrosion effect for MFF,as indicated by scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The reaction process and products distribution were studied by Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),and ^(13)C nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR).Besides,the MFF degradation products that have the similar chemical structures and bonding performances to those of melamine can be directly used as the raw material for synthesis of melamine urea-formaldehyde resins(MUFs).Moreover,the degradation system demonstrated here showed the high degradation efficiency after reusing for 7 times.The degradation process generated few harmful pollutants and no pre-or post-treatments were required,which proves its feasibility in the safe removal or recovery of waste MFF.Shaodi Wu Ning Zhang Chizhou Wang Xianglin Hou Jie Zhao Shiyu Jia Jiancheng Zhao Xiaojing Cui Haibo Jin Tiansheng Deng 2024Green Energy & Environment2024,9,5:0

6Efficient oil-water separation by novel biodegradable all cellulose composite filter paper显示文摘Industrial production and domestic discharge produce a large amount of oily wastewater, which seriously affects the stability of the ecological environment. Membrane separation technology provides another path to treating oily wastewater. And appropriate surface modification of the membrane helps to achieve high efficiency of treating oily wastewater. With green, economy and stability been more concerned.The focal research reports a completely biodegradable all cellulose composite filter paper(ACCFP) composed of Ⅰ-cellulose macrofibers and Ⅱ-cellulose matrix. It is a simple one-step impregnation method to adjust the surface microstructure of the pristine filter paper(PFP), and it does not involve with chemical reaction. The pre-wetted ACCFP consist of Ⅱ-cellulose hydrogel and Ⅰ-cellulose reinforcement in the process of oil-water separation. This layer of hydrogel is the fundamental to underwater superoleophobicity, which determines their eligibility for applications of efficient oil-water mixture or oil-in-water(oil/water) emulsion separation. The separation efficiency of oil-water mixture and oil/water emulsion exceed 95% and 99.9%, respectively. In addition, excellent mechanical properties of ACCFP in dry and wet conditions ensure its stability in service and prolong service life in applications.
