11995年北欧湖泊调查——芬兰、挪威、瑞典、丹麦、俄罗斯的科拉和科雷利亚地区、苏格兰和威尔士显示文摘在1995年秋,芬兰、挪威和瑞典采用规定的湖泊选择标准和分析程序开始了一项北欧湖泊的联合调查。尔后,该项目扩大到包括丹麦、俄罗斯的科拉(Kola)地区和科雷利亚(Karelia)地区、苏格兰和威尔士。调查覆盖了约1300 000km^2的地域;大约占欧洲总面积的13%,若不包括俄罗斯欧洲部分则占欧洲总面积的28%。在所调查区域内>0.04km^2的湖泊总数约为 155 000个,对其中3.7%的湖泊(5690个)进行了采样。湖泊密度大约为每9km^2一个湖,采样密度为每244km^2一个湖。对北部欧洲湖泊化学的首次常规评价表明,除了丹麦的湖泊以外,其他湖泊都以低离子浓度水(淡水)为特征,伴有低浓度的营养物质——氮和磷。由于在水文、降水化学、土壤覆盖及植被等方面的差异,各国的湖水化学有所不同。从西部的挪威、苏格兰和威尔士到东部的芬兰和科雷利亚,存在着降水由高到低(从5000mm/a到300mm/a)和从山区瘠薄和质地不匀的土壤到森林地区深厚土壤的逐渐变化。这两个因子都在湖水化学上有所反映,西部地区的碱基离子(basecation)(Ca、Mg、Na、K)浓度、碱度(HCO_3^-)和总有机碳(TOC)均低于东部地区。在苏格兰和威尔士湖水里的高水平TOC是一例外。瑞典、芬兰、苏格兰和威尔士的碱基离子中位值三倍于挪威的,TOC浓度变化更大。丹麦湖泊受基岩矿物学的影响不同于其它国家,而且在其集水区中农业活动的强度更大。丹麦湖泊的离子浓度一般要高得多,氮和磷的浓度也很高。在芬兰、挪威、瑞典以及俄罗斯的科拉和科雷利亚,50%以上的湖泊硫酸度(sulfur acidi-ty)临界负荷(CL)值很低,CL<60meq/m^2·a;而在苏格兰、威尔士和丹麦CL值低的湖泊极少。按目前的硫负荷计算,超过硫酸度临界负荷的湖泊数量百分比在挪威最高,为27%;在俄罗斯的科拉、瑞典和芬兰,分别为17%、9%和9%;在苏格兰仅为1%;而在威尔士却有24%。总的来说,超过硫酸度临界负荷的湖泊之和大约为22 000个,占北部欧洲湖泊总数的14%。ArneHenriksen BritLisaSkjelvle Jaakkko Mannio Anders Wilander Ron Harriman Chris Curtis Jens Peder Jensen Erik Fjeld Tatyana Moiseenko 沈英娃 1998人类环境杂志1998,27,2:2
