1Microstructure evolution and growth mechanism of core-shell silicon-based nanowires by thermal evaporation of SiO显示文摘Core-shell structured SiC@SiO_(2)nanowires and Si@SiO_(2)nanowires were prepared on the surface of carbon/carbon(C/C)composites by a thermal evaporation method using SiO powders as the silicon source and Ni(NO3)2 as the catalyst.The average diameters of SiC@SiO_(2)nanowires and Si@SiO_(2)nanowires are about 145 nm,and the core-shell diameter ratios are about 0.41 and 0.53,respectively.The SiO_(2)shells of such two nanowires resulted from the reaction between SiO and CO and the reaction of SiO itself,respectively,based on the model analysis.The growth of these two nanowires conformed to the vapor-liquid-solid(VLS)mode.In this mode,CO played an important role in the growth of nanowires.There existed a critical partial pressure of CO(pC)determining the microstructure evolution of nanowires into whether SiC@SiO_(2)or Si@SiO_(2).The value of pC was calculated to be 4.01×10^(-15) Pa from the thermodynamic computation.Once the CO partial pressure in the system was greater than the pC,SiO tended to react with CO,causing the formation of SiC@SiO_(2)nanowires.However,the decomposition of SiO played a predominant role and the products mainly consisted of Si@SiO_(2)nanowires.This work may be helpful for the regulation of the growth process and the understanding of the growth mechanism of silicon-based nanowires.Bing LIU Jia SUN Lei ZHOU Pei ZHANG Chenxin YAN Qiangang FU 2022Journal of Advanced Ceramics2022,11,9:1

4Radiofrequency field enhanced chemical ionization with vacuum ultraviolet lamp for miniature time-of-flight mass spectrometer显示文摘It is difficult to rapidly and on-line detect trace volatile organic compounds for miniature mass spectrometry due to its limited sampling volume at slow pumping speed. In this paper, we developed a new radiofrequency field enhanced chemical ionization source(RF-ECI) with vacuum ultraviolet(VUV)lamp by coupling radiofrequency electric field and direct-current field together. The experiment results showed that the sensitivity of benzene, toluene, hydrogen sul fide and other compounds increased by 2–3 orders of magnitude under the introduction of RF-ECI comparing to traditional single photon ionization(SPI). At the same time, the reagent ion of O_2^+realized the charge transfer reaction chemical ionization,and the RF-ECI effectively expanded the detection range of the VUV lamp based SPI. 5Effects of dynamic flow rates on degradation deposition behavior of Mg scaffold显示文摘Degradability of bone tissue engineering scaffold that matching the regeneration rate could allow a complete replacement of host tissue.However,the porous structure of biodegradable Mg scaffolds certainly generated high specific surface area,and the three-dimensional interconnected pores provided fast pervasive invasion entrance for the corrosive medium,rising concern of the structural integrity during the degradation.To clarify the structural evolution of the three-dimensional(3D)porous structure,semi-static immersion tests were carried out to evaluate the degradation performance in our previous study.Nevertheless,dynamic immersion tests mimicking the in vivo circulatory fluid through the interconnected porous structure have yet been investigated.Moreover,the effects of dynamic flow rates on the degradation deposition behavior of 3D porous Mg scaffolds were rarely reported.In this study,Mg scaffolds degraded at three flow rates exhibited different degradation rates and deposition process.A flow rate of 0.5 m L/min introduced maximum drop of porosity by accumulated deposition products.The deposition products provided limited protection against the degradation process at a flow rate of 1.0 m L/min.The three-dimensional interconnected porous structure of Mg scaffold degraded at 2.0 m L/min well retained after 14 days showing the best interconnectivity resistance to the degradation deposition process.The dynamic immersion tests disclosed the reason for the different degradation rates on account of flow rates,which may bring insight into understanding of varied in vivo degradation rates related to implantation sites.Gaozhi Jia Meng Zhou Yicong Huang Chenxin Chen Liang Jin Qian Wu Jian Weng Fei Yu Ao Xiong Guangyin Yuan Frank Feyerabend Hui Zeng 2023Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2023,11,6:0

7Molecular oxygen-mediated selective hydroxyalkylation and alkylation of quinoxalin-2(1H)-ones with alkylboronic acids显示文摘Herein, an efficient molecular oxygen-mediated method for the selective hydroxyalkylation and alkylation of quinoxalin-2(1 H)-ones with alkylboronic acids under transition-metal free conditions has been developed. This strategy demonstrates a broad scope of quinoxalin-2(1 H)-ones and alkylboronic acids, giving3-hydroxyalkylquinoxalin-2(1 H)-ones and 3-alkylquinoxalin-2(1 H)-ones in moderate-to-good yield.
