1Carbon and Oxygen Isotopic Compositions: How Lacustrine Environmental Factors Respond in Northwestern and Northeastern China显示文摘Surface lake sediments,28 from Hoh Xil,24 from northeastern China,99 from Lake Bosten,31 from Ulungur and 26 from Heihai were collected to determine δ13C and δ18O values.Considering the impact factors,conductivity,alkalinity,pH,TOC,C/N and carbonate-content in the sediments,Cl,P,S,and metal element ratios of Mg/Ca,Sr/Ca,Fe/Mn of bulk sediments as environmental variables enable evaluation of their influences on δ13C and δ18O using principal component analysis(PCA) method.The closure and residence time of lakes can influence the correlation between δ13C and δ18O.Lake water will change from fresh to brackish with increasing reduction and eutrophication effects.Mg/Ca in the bulk sediment indicates the characteristic of residence time,Sr/Ca and Fe/Mn infer the salinity of lakes.Carbonate formation processes and types can influence the δ13C–δ18O correlation.δ18O will be heavier from Mg-calcite and aragonite formed in a high-salinity water body than calcite formed in freshwater conditions.When carbonate content is less than 30%,there is no relationship with either δ13C or δ18O,and also none between δ13C and δ18O.More than 30%,carbonate content,however,co-varies highly to δ13C and δ18O,and there is also a high correlation between δ13C and δ18O.Vegetation conditions and primary productivity of lakes can influence the characteristics of δ13C and δ18O,and their co-variance.Total organic matter content(TOC) in the sediments is higher with more terrestrial and submerged plants infilling.In northeastern and northwestern China,when organic matter in the lake sediments comes from endogenous floating organisms and algae,the δ13C value is high.δ13C is in the range of 4‰ to 0‰ when organic matter comes mainly from floating organisms(C/N<6);in the range of 4‰ to 8‰ when organic matter comes from diatoms(C/N=6 to 8);and 8‰ to 4‰ when organic matter comes from aquatic and terrestrial plants(C/N>8).ZHANG Chengjun FAN Rong LI Jun Steffen MISCHKE laise DEMBELE HU Xiaolan 2013Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2013,87,5:13
2Towards High-Energy and Anti-Self-Discharge Zn-Ion Hybrid Supercapacitors with New Understanding of the Electrochemistry显示文摘Aqueous Zn-ion hybrid supercapacitors(ZHSs)are increasingly being studied as a novel electrochemical energy storage system with prominent electrochemical performance,high safety and low cost.Herein,high-energy and anti-self-discharge ZHSs are realized based on the fibrous carbon cathodes with hierarchically porous surface and O/N heteroatom functional groups.Hierarchically porous surface of the fabricated free-standing fibrous carbon cathodes not only provides abundant active sites for divalent ion storage,but also optimizes ion transport kinetics.Consequently,the cathodes show a high gravimetric capacity of 156 mAh g^(−1),superior rate capability(79 mAh g^(−1)with a very short charge/discharge time of 14 s)and exceptional cycling stability.Meanwhile,hierarchical pore structure and suitable surface functional groups of the cathodes endow ZHSs with a high energy density of 127 Wh kg−1,a high power density of 15.3 kW kg^(−1)and good anti-self-discharge performance.Mechanism investigation reveals that ZHS electrochemistry involves cation adsorption/desorption and Zn_(4)SO_(4)(OH)_(6)·5H_(2)O formation/dissolution at low voltage and anion adsorption/desorption at high voltage on carbon cathodes.The roles of these reactions in energy storage of ZHSs are elucidated.This work not only paves a way for high-performance cathode materials of ZHSs,but also provides a deeper understanding of ZHS electrochemistry.Yang Li Wang Yang Wu Yang Ziqi Wang Jianhua Rong Guoxiu Wang Chengjun Xu Feiyu Kang Liubing Dong 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,6:2
3Research on Cooling Effectiveness in Stepped Slot Film Cooling Vane显示文摘As one of the most important developments in air cooling technology for hot parts of the aero-engine,film cooling technology has been widely used.Film cooling hole structure exists mainly in areas that have high temperature,uneven cooling effectiveness issues when in actual use.The first stage turbine vanes of the aero-engine consume the largest portion of cooling air,thereby the research on reducing the amount of cooling air has the greatest potential.A new stepped slot film cooling vane with a high cooling effectiveness and a high cooling uniformity was researched initially.Through numerical methods,the affecting factors of the cooling effectiveness of a vane with the stepped slot film cooling structure were researched.This paper focuses on the cooling effectiveness and the pressure loss in different blowing ratio conditions,then the most reasonable and scientific structure parameter can be obtained by analyzing the results.The results show that 1.0 mm is the optimum slot width and 10.0 is the most reasonable blowing ratio.Under this condition,the vane achieved the best cooling result and the highest cooling effectiveness,and also retained a low pressure loss.LI Yulong WU Hong ZHOU Feng RONG Chengjun 2016Journal of Thermal Science2016,25,3:0
4New Start-up Method for a Closed-Cycle Compression System with Gas Bearings and Its Characteristics显示文摘Gas bearings,which have the advantages of low frictional resistance and power loss,high rotational speed and high temperature operation,and long life,are more suitable than are traditional liquid lubricated bearings because of their high precision,high rotational speed,and special condition support.However,the problem of starting a closed-cycle compression system with gas bearings still needs to be solved for practical application.Thus,a new start-up method for a closed-cycle compression system with aerostatic gas bearings is proposed in this paper.Further,this paper presents a numerical simulation and experimental investigation of the method’s feasibility and characteristics during the start-up process when the gas tank’s initial pressure is fixed.The results show that the gas tank volume is approximately directly proportional to the start-up time allowable,and a gas tank volume sufficiently small,which not only ensures the feasibility of start-up,but also affects other components only slightly,can be obtained.A perfect combination of radial and axial loads also can be achieved to make the start-up time allowable as long as possible.R134a is a better choice for the working medium than is air,as the start-up time allowable is longer,which leads to a smaller gas tank.This research proposes a new start-up method for a closed-cycle compression system with aerostatic gas bearings which has sufficient load capacity to support system during the start-up method.Huaqi Lian Hong Wu Yulong Li Chengjun Rong 2020Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2020,33,6:0
5The hidden risk of microplastic-associated pathogens in aquatic environments显示文摘Increasing studies of plastisphere have raised public concern about microplastics(MPs)as vectors for pathogens,especially in aquatic environments.However,the extent to which pathogens affect human health through MPs remains unclear,as controversies persist regarding the distinct pathogen colonization on MPs as well as the transmission routes and infection probability of MP-associated pathogens from water to humans.In this review,we critically discuss whether and how pathogens approach humans via MPs,shedding light on the potential health risks involved.Drawing on cutting-edge multidisciplinary research,we show that some MPs may facilitate the growth and long-range transmission of specific pathogens in aquatic environments,ultimately increasing the risk of infection in humans.We identify MP-and pathogen-rich settings,such as wastewater treatment plants,aquaculture farms,and swimming pools,as possible sites for human exposure to MP-associated pathogens.This review emphasizes the need for further research and targeted interventions to better understand and mitigate the potential health risks associated with MP-mediated pathogen transmission.Huan Zhong Mengjie Wu Christian Sonne Su Shiung Lam Raymond W.M.Kwong Yuelu Jiang Xiaoli Zhao Xuemei Sun Xuxiang Zhang Chengjun Li Yuanyuan Li Guangbo Qu Feng Jiang Huahong Shi Rong Ji Hongqiang Ren 2023Eco-Environment & Health2023,2,3:0
6Petroleum Generation Kinetics and Geological Implications for Jurassic Hydrocarbon Source Rocks,Hongqi Depression,Hailar Basin,Northeast China显示文摘A sample from the Jurassic Tamulangou Fm.and two comparison samples from the Cretaceous Fm.were used to document the hydrocarbon generation kinetics and phase behaviors at two heating rates using the confined gold tube system.The results show that the different heating rates affect the reaction rates,paths and levels of organic matter evolution.The average activation energy and dominant frequency activation energy of liquid hydrocarbon are significantly lower than those of gaseous.Moreover,igneous intrusion had a positive effect on the blooming,enrichment and preservation of organic matter,promoting a Ro increase of 0.09%–1.07%in the Jurassic Tamulangou Fm.Two models were used to simulate the normal and abnormal evolution caused by thermal events combined hydrocarbon generation kinetic parameters.Thermal simulation analysis shows that oil generation was initially slow and then increased rapidly until a burial depth of 1500 m was reached at~128 Ma.The largest hydrocarbon expulsion began at~120 Ma,corresponding to a burial depth of 2450 m.The maximum cumulative yield is 510 mg/g TOC,and it is still in the peak period of hydrocarbon generation,which demonstrates a favorable potential for hydrocarbon exploration.XIE Mingxian MA Feng CHEN Guangpo LIU Chang XIAO Rong SU Yuping ZHANG Chengjun 2023Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2023,97,2:0
