1Moving object detection in aerial video based on spatiotemporal saliency显示文摘In this paper,the problem of moving object detection in aerial video is addressed.While motion cues have been extensively exploited in the literature,how to use spatial information is still an open problem.To deal with this issue,we propose a novel hierarchical moving target detection method based on spatiotemporal saliency.Temporal saliency is used to get a coarse segmentation,and spatial saliency is extracted to obtain the object's appearance details in candidate motion regions.Finally,by combining temporal and spatial saliency information,we can get refned detection results.Additionally,in order to give a full description of the object distribution,spatial saliency is detected in both pixel and region levels based on local contrast.Experiments conducted on the VIVID dataset show that the proposed method is effcient and accurate.Shen Hao Li Shuxiao Zhu Chengfei Chang Hongxing Zhang Jinglan 2013Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2013,26,5:18
2Therapeutic efficacy of anti-CD19 CAR-T cells in a mouse model of systemic lupus erythematosus显示文摘Dysregulated B-cell activation plays pivotal roles in systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE),which makes B-cell depletion a potential strategy for SLE treatment.The clinical success of anti-CD19 CAR-T cells in treating B-cell malignancies has attracted the attention of researchers.In this study,we aimed to investigate the feasibility of applying anti-CD19 CAR-T cell therapy to SLE treatment in a mouse disease model.We constructed murine anti-CD19 CARs with either CD28 or 4-1BB as the intracellular costimulatory motif and evaluated the therapeutic function of the corresponding CAR-T cells by infusing them into MRL-lpr mice.Furthermore,anti-CD19 CAR-T cells were transferred to MRL-lpr mice before the onset of disease to determine their role in SLE prevention.According to our observations,compared with antibody treatment,the adoptive transfer of our anti-CD19 CAR-T cells showed a more sustained B-cell-depletion effect in MRL-lpr mice.The transfer of syngeneic anti-CD19 CAR-T cells not only prevented disease pathogenesis before the onset of disease symptoms but also displayed therapeutic benefits at a later stage after disease progression.We also tried to optimize the treatment strategy and found that compared with CAR-T cells with the CD28 costimulatory motif,CAR-T cells with the 4-1BB costimulatory motif showed better therapeutic efficiency without cell enrichment.Taken together,these results show that anti-CD19 CAR-T cell therapy was effective in the prevention and treatment of a murine model of SLE,indicating its potential for clinical use in patients.Xuexiao Jin Qin Xu Chengfei Pu Kaixiang Zhu Cheng Lu Yu Jiang Lei Xiao Yongmei Han Linrong Lu 2021Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,8:12
3Protective effects of Jiayan Kangtai granules on autoimmune thyroiditis in a rat model by modulating Th17/Treg cell balance显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the protective effects of Jiayan Kangtai(JYKT) granules, consisting of 9 Chinese herbs, in a rat model of autoimmune thyroiditis(AIT), and the possible underlying mechanism.METHODS: Female Lewis rats(6-8 weeks) were randomly apportioned to 5 groups of 10, including a normal control. AIT was induced in the untreated AIT-model group, and rats treated subsequently with daily low, medium, or high dose JYKT granules. After 12 weeks, plasma levels of thyroid autoantibodies and morphological changes in the thyroid were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and histological examination, respectively. The presence of interleukin(IL)-6,IL23 p19, and IL-2 in thyroid tissue was assessed by immunohistochemical staining. The percentages of T helper(Th)17 cells and regulatory T cells(Tregs) in the peripheral blood were analyzed by flow cytometry. Relevant levels of cytokines and proteins were examined via bead-based multiplex flow cytometry and ELISA, respectively. Expressions of genes and proteins regulated by Th17 cells and Tregs were shown by real-time PCR and Western blot.RESULTS: Compared to the control, AIT-model rats had higher plasma concentrations of thyroid autoantibodies. The high-dose JYKT rats showed significantly lower levels of thyroid autoantibodies compared with the AIT model group. Rats in the AIT-JYKT groups also had fewer thyroid lesions and less lymphocytic infiltration, a lower percentage of Th17 cells, and a higher percentage of Tregs, compared with the AIT-model. Rats given high-dose JYKT had a significantly lower Th17/Treg ratio compared with the AIT model. 4Non-obstructive Coronary Artery Disease in Chinese Patients with Angina Diagnosed by Coronary Angiography:A Retrospective Study显示文摘Objective:This study aimed to estimate the proportion of non-obstructive coronary artery disease(CAD)patients in large percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)centers in China.Methods:The study was conducted at 6 large PCI centers in China from January 1,2013 to December 31,2015.Demographic and clinical data were collected from medical records,prescription records,and laboratory reports of patients with symptoms of angina who underwent coronary angiography(CAG).Results:A total of 1713 patients were consecutively screened,1600 of whom were included in the study.CAG showed that 300 patients had non-obstructive CAD while 1300 had obstructive CAD.Among the 300 patients with non-obstructive CAD,203 displayed mild coronary stenosis(20%-49%)and 91 had normal coronary status(ie,<20%stenosis).Of the 1300 patients with obstructive CAD,61.6%(801/1300)had typical symptoms of angina,compared with 49.3%(148/300)for patients with nonobstructive CAD.In addition,there were more women than men in the non-obstructive CAD group,whereas the reverse was observed among obstructive CAD patients.Conclusion:The prevalence of non-obstructive CAD in the Chinese population with coronary heart disease was estimated to be approximately 20%.Additionally,typical angina symptoms were correlated with obstructive CAD,whereas female gender was identified as a risk factor for non-obstructive CAD.Chengfei Peng Shaoping Nie Yingxian Sun Hui Chen Zuyi Yuan Yanjun Gong Xiaozeng Wang Yaling Han 2021Cardiology Discovery2021,1,4:4
5Short-working-distance optical imaging system and method for surface detection of underwater structures显示文摘In the surface imaging of underwater structures, long working distance will reduce image quality due to the turbidity of water. To acquire high definition and large field of view(FOV) images for surface detection, a short-working-distance underwater imaging system is proposed based on camera array. A multi-view calibration and rectification method is developed. A look-up table(LUT) method and a multi-resolution spline(MRS) method are applied to stitch array images real-time and seamlessly.Experiments both in the air and in the water are conducted. 7Synthetic aperture ptychography:coded sensor translation for joint spatial-Fourier bandwidth expansion显示文摘Conventional ptychography translates an object through a localized probe beam to widen the field of view in real space.Fourier ptychography translates the object spectrum through a pupil aperture to expand the Fourier bandwidth in reciprocal space.Here we report an imaging modality,termed synthetic aperture ptychography(SAP),to get the best of both techniques.In SAP,we illuminate a stationary object using an extended plane wave and translate a coded image sensor at the far field for data acquisition.The coded layer attached on the sensor modulates the object exit waves and serves as an effective ptychographic probe for phase retrieval.The sensor translation process in SAP synthesizes a large complex-valued wavefront at the intermediate aperture plane.By propagating this wavefront back to the object plane,we can widen the field of view in real space and expand the Fourier bandwidth in reciprocal space simultaneously.We validate the SAP approach with transmission targets and reflection silicon microchips.A 20-mm aperture was synthesized using a 5-mm sensor,achieving a fourfold gain in resolution and 16-fold gain in field of view for object recovery.In addition,the thin sample requirement in ptychography is no longer required in SAP.One can digitally propagate the recovered exit wave to any axial position for post-acquisition refocusing.The SAP scheme offers a solution for far-field sub-diffraction imaging without using lenses.It can be adopted in coherent diffraction imaging setups with radiation sources from visible light,extreme ultraviolet,and X-ray,to electron.PENGMING SONG SHAOWEI JIANG TIANBO WANG CHENGFEI GUO RUIHAI WANG TERRANCE ZHANG GUOAN ZHENG 2022Photonics Research2022,10,7:2
8Hierarchical path planning for multi-arm spacecraft with general translational and rotational locomotion mode显示文摘On-orbit construction and maintenance technology will play a significant role in future space exploration.The dexterous multifunctional spacecraft equipped with multi-arm,for instance,Spider Fab Bot,has attracted a great deal of focus due to its versatility in completing these missions.In such engineering practice,point-to-point moving in a complex environment is the fundamental issue.This paper investigates the three-dimensional point-to-point path planning problem,and a hierarchical path planning architecture is developed to give the trajectory of the multi-arm spacecraft effectively and efficiently.In the proposed 3-level architecture,the high-level planner generates the global constrained centric trajectory of the spacecraft with a rigid envelop assumption;the middle-level planner contributes the action sequence,a combination of the newly developed general translational and rotational locomotion mode,to cope with the relative position and attitude of the arms about the centroid of the spacecraft;the low-level planner maps the position/attitude of the end-effector of each arm from the operational space to the joint space optimally.Finally,the simulation experiment is carried out,and the results verify the effectiveness of the proposed three-layer architecture path planning strategy.YUE ChengFei LIN Tao ZHANG Xiao CHEN XueQin CAO XiBin 2023Science China(Technological Sciences)2023,66,4:2
9Flavonoids from traditional Chinese herbs for diabetes in rats:a network Meta-analysis显示文摘OBJECTIVE:In this Meta-analysis,we evaluated the hypoglycemic effect of 5 flavonoids found in traditional Chinese herbs(naringenin,kaempferol,puerarin,baicalein,and luteolin)on diabetic rats.METHODS:Four databases including Pub Med,Web of Science,Embase,and Cochrane Library,were searched from inception to May 2020.Only studies using diabetes model rats were included in the analysis.Blood glucose data from the last measurement were collected and analyzed.Pair-wise Meta-analyses were conducted using STATA v14.0 software and a Meta-analysis was conducted using STATA v14.0,ADDIS v1.16.6,and R v3.6.1.The quality of included studies was assessed with the SYRCLE risk of bias tool for animal studies,and publication bias was evaluated with a comparisonadjusted funnel plot.RESULTS:A total of 33 studies were included in the analysis,in which all 5 flavonoids showed a beneficial effect on blood glucose level of diabetic rats were included in the final analysis.The standardized mean differences(95%confidence intervals)were-4.92(-6.67,-3.17)for naringenin,-12(-18.74,-5.27)for kaempferol,-2.52(-3.77,-1.26)for puerarin,-3.04(-5.75,-0.34)for baicalein,and-1.94(-2.95,-0.92)for luteolin.The network Meta-analysis showed no statistically significant differences between the effect sizes of the flavonoids.CONCLUSION:The results of the Meta-analysis showed that naringenin,kaempferol,puerarin,baicalein,and luteolin all have clear hypoglycemic effects in rat diabetes models,highlighting their therapeutic potential for preventing and treating diabetes mellitus in clinical practice.WU You HU Yuli LIU Wei SUN Boju ZHANG Chengfei WU Lili LIU Tonghua 2022Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2022,42,1:2
10Vegetation Restoration Technique System and Its Ecological Functions of the Degraded Ecosystem in the Arid-Hot Valleys——Taking the Example of Typical Mode in Small Watershed of Yuanmou显示文摘This paper concluded the vegetation restoration technique system in the arid-hot valleys and studied the anti-erosion function, environmental function and biological diversity effects of vegetation restoration on the ecosystem in the arid-hot valleys. The results showed that the soil erodibility decreased significantly after the vegetation restoration. The climate environment of the small watershed had a great improvement after the vegetation restoration, of which the temperature decreased, the humidity increased, the harsh environment of dry and hot in this region changed. The studies of the ecosystem biodiversity were mainly on the analysis of the relations between biodiversity and ecological function of the artificial ecological forest pattern and the natural enclosed treatment mode on the severely of degraded land. It could conclude that the natural en-closed treatment mode is helpful to the biodiversity of the ecosystem and the improvement and stability of the ecosystem, and Leucaena artificial forest restoration pattern reduced the species diversity but optimized the ecological function. 11Landscape Ecological Evaluation on the Artificial Forest of Leucaena leucocephala——Taking the Example of Xiaokua Hill of Yuanmou显示文摘Based on the theory of ecology, this article conducted a landscape ecological evaluation on Leucaena leucocephala artificial forest in the arid-hot valley, Yuanmou Xiaokua hill,using a combination method of qualitative analysis and landscape comprehensive evaluation. The comprehensive evaluation indexes of landscape include forest coverage, biodiversity, stability, soil erosion, environmental quality, availability, scientific research characteristic, economic benefits. Using AHP (analytical hierarchy process), determine the grade of ecological evaluation factors and the weight of evaluation index and calculate the CEI (comprehensive evaluation index) on ecological evaluation. Evaluation results showed that the area CEI was 0.714 225, a better quality of the eco-logical level, but biodiversity indicators was the lowest. To sum up, it was difficult to maintain ecological restoration effectiveness and process but also guarantee a good biodiversity in the arid-hot valleys. 12Rainfall-Interception Effect of Vegetation Restored Region of Gully in Arid-Hot Valley of Jinshajiang River显示文摘This paper divides the process of rainfall redistribution into four levels in vegetation restored region of gully in arid-hot valley of Jinshajiang River. These levels include arbor interception, litter interception, soil interception and surface runoff. The results showed that the maximum of interception was 8.10 mm, the mean interception was 4.53 mm, the maximum of interception rate was 56.10 % and the mean interception rate was 32.63 %.When the rainfall is over 20 mm, the interception rate descends rapidly along with the rainfall increasing. The maximum of water-holding content of litter was 8.14-20.33 t/hm2, the mean of which is 12.52 t/hm2 and the maximum of water-holding content was over two times of it own weight.The rainfall of litter interception was 150.24 mm, accounted for the rainfall income 24.48%.The maximum water-holding capacity of soil achieves 2 198.54 t/hm2, but that of the barren land is 1 825.60 t/hm2. The rainfall of soil interception was 219.87 mm, accounted for the rainfall income 35.82%. The surface runoff of vegetation restored region was 43.41 mm, accounted for 7.07% of the rainfall income, but the surface runoff of non-forest land was 413.24 mm, accounts for 70.26% of the rainfall income.The surface runoff of the planted forest community was by 63.19% lower than that of the non-forest land. 15IFN-stimulated P2Y13 protects mice from viral infection by suppressing the cAMP/EPACl signaling pathway显示文摘Among the most important sensors of extracellular danger signals, purinergic receptors have been demonstrated to play crucial roles in host defense against infection. However, the function of P2 receptors in viral infection has been little explored. Here we demonstrated that P2Y13 and its ligand ADP play an important role in protecting hosts from viral infections. First, we demonstrate that P2Y13, as a typical interferon-stimulated gene, is induced together with extracellular ADP during viral infection. Most importantly, extracellular ADP restricts the replication of different kinds of viruses, including vesicular stomatitis virus, Newcastle disease virus, herpes simplex virus 1, and murine leukemia virus. This kind of protection is dependent on P2Y13 but not P2Y1 or P2Y12, which are also considered as receptors for ADP. Furthermore, cyclic adenosine monophosphate and EPAC1 are downregu-lated by extracellular ADP through the P2Y13-coupled Gi alpha subunit. Accordingly, inhibition or deletion of EPAC1 significantly eliminates ADP/P2Y13-mediated antiviral activities. 16Volatile organic compound emissions from straw-amended agricultural soils and their relations to bacterial communities:A laboratory study显示文摘A laboratory study was conducted to investigate volatile organic compound(VOC) emissions from agricultural soil amended with wheat straw and their associations with bacterial communities for a period of 66 days under non-flooded and flooded conditions. The results indicated that ethene, propene, ethanol, i-propanol, 2-butanol, acetaldehyde, acetone,2-butanone, 2-pentanone and acetophenone were the 10 most abundant VOCs, making up over 90% of the total VOCs released under the two water conditions. The mean emission of total VOCs from the amended soils under the non-flooded condition(5924 ng C/(kg·hr)) was significantly higher than that under the flooded condition(2211 ng C/(kg·hr)). One 'peak emission window' appeared at days 0–44 or 4–44, and over 95% of the VOC emissions occurred during the first month under the two water conditions. Bacterial community analysis using denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis(DGGE) showed that a relative increase of Actinobacteria, Bacteroidetes, Firmicutes and γ-Proteobacteria but a relative decrease of Acidobacteria with time were observed after straw amendments under the two water conditions. Cluster analysis revealed that the soil bacterial communities changed greatly with incubation time, which was in line with the variation of the VOC emissions over the experimental period. Most of the above top 10 VOCs correlated positively with the predominant bacterial species of Bacteroidetes, Firmicutes and Verrucomicrobia but correlated negatively with the dominant bacterial species of Actinobacteria under the two water conditions. 20Effects of Tabular Stratified CO_(2)/O_(2)Jets on Dynamic and NO_(x)Emission Characteristics of a Model Gas Turbine Combustor显示文摘The effects of tabular stratified CO_(2)/O_(2)jet in cross flow on thermoacoustic instability and NO_(x)emission were experimentally studied.To explore the dependence of injection positions on flame stability,two factors were taken:the injection height and the injection direction of CO_(2)/O_(2)gas.Results show that the injection positions seriously affect the control effectiveness.The optimum acoustic amplitude-damped ratio of thermoacoustic instability can reach 76.61%with the first layer of horizontal direction.The sound pressure amplitude declined from 56 Pa to 13.1 Pa.The concentration-damped ratio of NO_(x)emission can achieve 66.67%with the first layer of vertical direction.The concentration of NO_(x)emission declined from 50.4 mg/m^(3)to 16.8mg/m^(3)as the jet in cross flow rate increased.Higher oxygen ratio of stratified CO_(2)/O_(2)jets can produce lower NO_(x)emission but higher combustion instability.The descending gradient of NO_(x)emissions is different among different injection positions.Frequency shifting of the sound pressure and flame CH*chemiluminescence emerged.The oscillation frequency declined as the flow rate of CO_(2)/O_(2)jets increased.The unsteady long and compact flame was dispersed after CO_(2)/O_(2)injection.The macrostructure of flame was characterized as flatter and short under jet in cross flow.The variation curves of the flame length and top view area are similar to the shape of half saddle lines.This research proved the optimal control of thermoacoustic instability and NO_(x)emissions with a passive method,which could be conducive to the realization of clean and secure combustion in industrial lean premixed combustors.TAO Chengfei ZHOU Hao 2021Journal of Thermal Science2021,30,4:1
