1SSR markers development and their application in genetic diversity evaluation of garlic(Allium sativum)germplasm显示文摘Garlic(Allium sativum),an asexually propagated vegetable and medicinal crop,has abundant genetic variation.Genetic diversity evaluation based on molecular markers has apparent advantages since their genomic abundance,environment insensitivity,and non-tissue specific features.However,the limited number of available DNA markers,especially SSR markers,are insufficient to conduct related genetic diversity assessment studies in garlic.In this study,4372 EST-SSR markers were newly developed,and 12 polymorphic markers together with other 17 garlic SSR markers were used to assess the genetic diversity and population structure of 127 garlic accessions.The averaged polymorphism information content(PIC)of these 29 SSR markers was 0.36,ranging from 0.22 to 0.49.Seventy-nine polymorphic loci were detected among these accessions,with an average of 3.48 polymorphic loci per SSR.Both the clustering analyses based on either the genotype data of SSR markers or the phenotypic data of morphological traits obtained genetic distance divided the 127 garlic accessions into three clusters.Moreover,the Mantel test showed that genetic distance had no significant correlations with geographic distance,and weak correlations were found between genetic distance and the phenotypic traits.AMOVA analysis showed that the main genetic variation of this garlic germplasm collection existed in the within-population or cluster.Results of this study will be of great value for the genetic/breeding studies in garlic and enhance the utilization of these garlic germplasms.Xiaxia Li Lijun Qiao Birong Chen Yujie Zheng Chengchen Zhi Siyu Zhang Yupeng Pan Zhihui Cheng 2022Plant Diversity2022,44,5:2
2Linearity analysis of closed-loop capacitive accelerometer due to distance mismatch between plates and the influence of compensation capacitor array显示文摘This paper presents mathematical formulae showing that the distance mismatch for an uncentered proof mass in an accelerator sensor does not influence the linearity of the closed-loop accelerometer as a whole.This asymmetry in sensors only introduces an output voltage offset in the readout integrated circuit.Numerical simulation using Matlab/Simulink confirms the mathematical conclusion.The linear response after compensation with a conventional capacitor array is also simulated and analyzed.Results show that there is a loss in linearity.Similar results hold not only for the continuous-time architecture,but also for a time-divided architecture.A readout integrated circuit with a time-divided architecture is designed and fabricated using a 0.35μm HV CMOS process.An accelerometer composed of a microelectromechanical system sensor with severe built-in distance mismatch and the designed readout integrated circuit is tested.Test results show that the nonlinearity of such accelerometer is within 0.3%.HUANG JingQing ZHAO Meng ZHANG TingTing CHEN ZhongJian HONG LiChen WU Feng ZHANG YaCong LU WenGao GAO ChengChen HAO YiLong 2014Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,6:2
3Reproduction of Hedysarum scoparium (Fabaceae) in patched habitat is pollen limited,but not just pollinator limited显示文摘Pollen limitation of plant reproduction occurs across Angiosperms,particularly those in patched habitats.We investigated the relationship between pollen limitation and patch variables (patch size,visitation frequency) in the desert plant Hedysarum scoparium (Fabaceae),which is an important xerophyte in the arid and semi-arid regions of Northwest China and can grow well as a pioneer plant in shifting sand dunes.We observed insect visitation to H.scoparium over two flowering seasons and estimated pollen limitation using fruit set and seed production.Our results indicate that fruit set and seed production increased significantly with pollen supplementation compared with open pollination.Hedysarum scoparium was pollinated by over 8 species of bees,with 88.4% of visits made by introduced honeybees (Apis mellifera).Bee visitation varied significantly among the patches of habitats,but not associated with patch size of habitat.In general,pollen limitation occurred more strongly during fruit set than during seed production.The patches that received higher rates of pollinator visits were less pollen limited for fruit set.Pollen limitation for seed production,however,was not associated with pollinator visitation frequency.We conclude that pollen limitation in H.scoparium was caused by more than one reason,not just pollinator visits.ChengChen PAN LinDe LIU HaLin ZHAO JiLiang LIU YueLi HOU Li ZHANG 2012Journal of Arid Land2012,4,1:1

5Seasonal change mediates the shift between resource and pollen limitation in Hedysarum scoparium(Fabaceae)显示文摘Theory suggests that with sufficient environmental variation, pollen limitation might be observed at some places or times, and resource limitation at others, but there are no empirical data about the effect of seasonal change on the variation of pollen limitation and resource limitation within a flowering season. In this study, we examined pollen and resource limitation by comparing fruit set and seed production in natural- and hand-pollinated Hedysarum scoparium flowers in the middle reaches of the Hexi Corridor region, China, in 2010. We also described a role for the first substantial autumn rainfall in mediating a shift between pollen and resource limitation in H. scoparium, but did not analyze this experimentally. Our results indicated that H. scoparium was resource limited at peak flowering during the summer, and was pollen limited at peak flowering during the autumn. The seasonal change(summer to autumn) mediated the shift between pollen and resource limitations in H. scoparium. The shift timing depended on the date of the first autumn rainfall in 2010. By the content analysis method,it analyzed the relationship between the ' attribute-consequence-value' of Hongyue Garden Maker,built the corresponding implication matrix and hierarchical value map,and finally obtained the dominant perception orientation of Hongyue Garden Maker consumption. This study revealed the potential reasons for consumers to buy Hongyue Garden Maker,analyzed the value connotation of consumers and the brand communication path of Hongyue Garden Maker. 8Quantitative functionalization of biosynthetic caged protein materials显示文摘Background:As one of the representative protein materials,protein nanocages(PNCs)are self-assembled supramolecular structures with multiple advantages,such as good monodispersity,biocompatibility,structural addressability,and facile production.Precise quantitative functionalization is essential to the construction of PNCs with designed purposes.Results:With three modifiable interfaces,the interior surface,outer surface,and interfaces between building blocks,PNCs can serve as an ideal platform for precise multi-functionalization studies and applications.This review summarizes the currently available methods for precise quantitative functionalization of PNCs and highlights the significance of precise quantitative control in fabricating PNC-based materials or devices.These methods can be categorized into three groups,genetic,chemical,and combined modification.Conclusion:This review would be constructive for those who work with biosynthetic PNCs in diverse fields.Quan Cheng Xuan Wang Xian-En Zhang Chengchen Xu Feng Li 2023Quantitative Biology2023,11,1:0
9Magnetic Resonance Image-Based Modeling for Neurosurgical Interventions显示文摘Surgeries such as implantation of deep brain stimulation devices require accurate placement of devices within the brain.Because placement affects performance,image guidance and robotic assistance techniques have been widely adopted.These methods require accurate prediction of brain deformation during and following implantation.In this study,a magnetic resonance(MR)image-based finite element(FE)model was proposed by using a coupled Eulerian-Lagrangian method.Anatomical accuracy was achieved by mapping image voxels directly to the volumetric mesh space.The potential utility was demonstrated by evaluating the effect of different surgical approaches on the deformation of the corpus callosum(CC)region.The results showed that the maximum displacement of the corpus callosum increase with an increase of interventional angle with respect to the midline.The maximum displacement of the corpus callosum for different interventional locations was predicted,which is related to the brain curvature and the distance between the interventional area and corpus callosum(CC).The estimated displacement magnitude of the CC region followed those obtained from clinical observations.The proposed method provided an automatic pipeline for generating realistic computational models for interventional surgery.Results also demonstrated the potential of constructing patient-specific models for image-guided,robotic neurological surgery.Yongqiang Li Changxin Lai Chengchen Zhang Alexa Singer Suhao Qiu Boming Sun Michael S.Sacks Yuan Feng 2019Molecular & Cellular Biomechanics2019,16,4:0
