3The transcription factor RelB restrains group 2 innate lymphoid cells and type 2 immune pathology in vivo显示文摘The exact relationships between group 2 innate lymphoid cells(ILC2s)and Th2 cells in type 2 pathology,as well as the mechanisms that restrain the responses of these cells,remain poorly defined.Here we examined the roles of ILC2s and Th2 cells in type 2 lung pathology in vivo using germline and conditional fie/b-deficient mice.We found that mice with germline deletion of Relb^(-/-)spontaneously developed prominent type 2 pathology in the lung,which contrasted sharply with mice with T-cell-specific Relb deletion(Relb^(f/f)Cd4-Cre),which were healthy with no observed autoimmune pathology.We also found that in contrast to wild-type B6 mice,Rel6-defident mice showed markedly expanded ILC2s but not ILC1s or ILC3s.Moreover,adoptive transfer of naive CD4^(+)T cells into Rag1^(-/-)Relb^(-/-)hosts induced prominent type 2 lung pathology,which was inhibited by depletion of ILC2s.Mechanistically,we showed that Relb deletion led to enhanced expression of Bcl11b,a key transcription factor for ILC2s.We concluded that RelB plays a critical role in restraining ILC2s,primarily by suppressing Bcl11b activity,and consequently inhibits type 2 lung pathology in vivo.Lei Zhang Yuanlin Ying Shuqiu Chen Preston R.Arnold Fafa Tian Laurie J.Minze Xiang Xiao Xian C.Li 2021Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,1:1
4Controlled preparation and self-assembly of NdVO_4 nanocrystals显示文摘Phase-pure t-NdVO_4 nanocrystals with different shapes have been synthesized by facile and repeatable hydrothermal methods. The as-synthesized t-NdVO_4 nanoparticles were characterized by various techniques of X-ray diffraction(XRD). scanning electron microscope(SEM) and transmission electron microscope(TEM). The growth process and assembly behavior of t-NdVO_4 nanorod arrays were investigated. The results show that the morphology of t-NdV04 nanocrystals is greatly related to the pH value of precursor solution and that strong basic solution is not in favor of the formation of t-NdVO_4 nanoparticles. Due to the strong adhesive action and stabilization of OH^-ions to some crystal faces of NdVO_4, neodymium vanadate crystallite grows into oriented short nanorods and then into nanorod arrays. 5Accurate characterization of room-temperature long range magnetic order in GaN: Mn by magnetic force microscope显示文摘Room-temperature ferromagnetism with a Curie temperature higher than 380 K was studied in GaN: Mn thin films grown by metal-organic chemical vapor deposition. By etching artificial microstructures on the GaN: Mn layer,strong magnetic responses were observed in the magnetic force microscopy (MFM) measurement,which revealed that the films were independent of dopant particles and clusters. Numerical simulation on the data of atomic force microscope (AFM) and MFM measurements covering the whole microstructure validated the formation of long range magnetic order. This result excluded a variety of controversial origins of room-temperature ferromagnetism in the GaN: Mn and gave a strong evidence of our GaN: Mn as the intrinsic diluted magnetic semiconductor (DMS). 6Influence of Si co-doping on magnetic, electrical and optical properties of Ga_(1-x)Mn_xN film grown by MOCVD显示文摘A detailed study is presented on magnetic, electrical and optical properties of Ga 1-x Mn x N: Si film grown by metal organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) with high-purity SiH 4 as the Si dopant source. The room-temperature field dependence magnetization and zero-field-cooled (ZFC)/field-cooled (FC) measurements indicate that the film remains room-temperature ferromagnetism and it declines slightly after Si co-doping. However, room-temperature Hall measurements indicate that the electrical property of the film improves distinctly compared with Ga 1-x Mn x N. Cathode luminescence (CL) measurements show an obvious enhancement in luminous property and different peak strength changes at three different positions.
