1Blood compatible heteratom-doped carbon dots for bio-imaging of human umbilical vein endothelial cells显示文摘Carbon dots have unique advantages in biological applications owing to their excellent optical prope rties.However,the biosafety evaluation of carbon dots has limitations owing to cytotoxicity in vitro,and the re is little pre-safety evaluation before in vivo and clinical applications.Whether the carbon dots are or not suitable for applications in vivo,evaluation analysis can be made based on hemolysis and changes in erythrocyte morphology.In this work,a green fluorescent N,S-doped carbon dots(N,S-CDs)were obtained by hydrothermal method,tobias acid,and m-phenylenediamine as precursors.N,S-CDs not only possessed excellent dispersibility,uniform particle size,high quantum yield(37.2%)and stable photoluminescence property but also retain their photostability and stro ng fluorescence intensity in the acid/alkaline solutions,different ionic strengths(NaCl)and under 365 nm UV illumination.Moreove r,the N,S-CDs displayed low cytotoxicity and high cellular uptake efficiency in human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVEC)and excellent blood compatibility to the erythrocyte.It is foreseeable that N,S-CDs could be further studied as a promising biological imaging agent in vivo.Jian Zhong Xinmian Chen Miaoran Zhang Chaoxin Xiao Lulu Cai Waleed Ali Khan Kaixuan Yu Jiayi Cui Lin He 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,3:0
2Mace-like TTF-TCNQ/HKUST-1 composite structures for rapid NO_(2) detection: Synergistically induced ultrahigh sensitivity and outstanding selectivity显示文摘Integration and synergy of the unique functions of different components have been developed into one of the most convenient and effective ways to construct the composite advanced materials with collective properties and improved performances.In this work,the mace-like tetrathiafulvalene-tetracyanoquinodimethane(TTF-TCNQ)/HKUST-1 composite structures with single single-crystalline TTF-TCNQ submicrorods covered by ordered HKUST-1 nanosheet arrays were successfully constructed by an efficient TTF-TCNQ seed-mediated growth approach.Impressively,thanks to the synergetic and complementary effects between TTF-TCNQ and HKUST-1,the sensors based on such mace-like TTF-TCNQ/HKUST-1 composite structures not only displayed an experimental detection limit of 10 part per billion(ppb)for NO_(2) detection,but also exhibited outstanding selectivity even if the concentration of the interfering gases was 10 times that of NO_(2).Meanwhile,good reproducibility and rapid response were also achieved.This work opens the avenue for creation of novel high-performance sensing materials for application in gas sensing.Chaoxin Lin Kumchol Kim Zuochao Wang Zhuang Yan Zhiyong Tang Yaling Liu 2023Nano Research2023,16,12:0
