| 2 | Human Interaction Dynamics for Its Use in Mobile Robotics:Impedance Control for Leader-follower Formation显示文摘A complete characterization of the behavior in human-robot interactions(HRI) includes both: the behavioral dynamics and the control laws that characterize how the behavior is regulated with the perception data. In this way, this work proposes a leader-follower coordinate control based on an impedance control that allows to establish a dynamic relation between social forces and motion error. For this, a scheme is presented to identify the impedance based on fictitious social forces, which are described by distance-based potential fields.As part of the validation procedure, we present an experimental comparison to select the better of two different fictitious force structures. | 3 | Mitochondrial dysfunctions in neurodegenerative diseases:role in disease pathogenesis,strategies for analysis and therapeutic prospects显示文摘Fundamental organelles that occur in every cell type with the exception of mammal erythrocytes,the mitochondria are required for multiple pivotal processes that include the production of biological energy,the biosynthesis of reactive oxygen species,the control of calcium homeostasis,and the triggering of cell death.The disruption of anyone of these processes has been shown to impact strongly the function of all cells,but especially of neurons.In this review,we discuss the role of the mitochondria impairment in the development of the neurodegenerative diseases Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis,Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease.We highlight how mitochondria disruption revolves around the processes that underlie the mitochondria's life cycle:fusion,fission,production of reactive oxygen species and energy failure.Both genetic and sporadic forms of neurodegenerative diseases are unavoidably accompanied with and often caused by the dysfunction in one or more of the key mitochondrial processes.Therefore,in order to get in depth insights into their health status in neurodegenerative diseases,we need to focus into innovative strategies aimed at characterizing the various mitochondrial processes.Current techniques include Mitostress,Mitotracker,transmission electron microscopy,oxidative stress assays along with expression measurement of the proteins that maintain the mitochondrial health.We will also discuss a panel of approaches aimed at mitigating the mitochondrial dysfunction.These include canonical drugs,natural compounds,supplements,lifestyle interventions and innovative approaches as mitochondria transplantation and gene therapy.In conclusion,because mitochondria are fundamental organelles necessary for virtually all the cell functions and are severely impaired in neurodegenerative diseases,it is critical to develop novel methods to measure the mitochondrial state,and novel therapeutic strategies aimed at improving their health. | Federica Rey Sara Ottolenghi Gian Vincenzo Zuccotti Michele Samaja Stephana Carelli | 2022 | Neural Regeneration Research2022，17，4： | 3 |
| 4 | Furazolidone-based triple therapy for H pylori gastritis in children显示文摘AIM: To evaluate the furazolidone-based triple therapy in children with symptomatic H pylori gastritis.METHODS: A prospective and consecutive open trial was carried out. The study included 38 patients with upper digestive symptoms suffi ciently severe to warrant endoscopic investigation. H pylori status was defined based both on histology and on positive 13C-urea breath test. Drug regimen was a seven-day course of omeprazole, clarithromycin and furazolidone (100 mg, 200 mg if over 30 kg) twice daily. Eradication of H pylori was assessed two months after treatment by histology and 13C-urea breath test. Further clinical evaluation was performed 7 d, 2 and 6 mo after the treatment. RESULTS: Thirty-eight patients (24 females, 14 males) were included. Their age ranged from 4 to 17.8 (mean 10.9 ± 3.7) years. On intent-to-treat analysis (n = 38), the eradication rate of H pylori was 73.7% (95% CI, 65.2%-82%) whereas in per-protocol analysis (n = 33) it was 84.8% (95% CI, 78.5%-91%). All the patients with duodenal ulcer (n = 7) were successfully treated (100% vs 56.2% with antral nodularity). Side effects were reported in 26 patients (68.4%), mainly vomiting (14/26) and abdominal pain (n = 13). Successfully treated dyspeptic patients showed improvement in 78.9% of H pylori-negative patients after six months and in 50% of H pylori-positive patients after six months of treatment.CONCLUSION: Triple therapy with furazolidone achieves moderate effi cacy in H pylori treatment.
