1Study on falling film generation heat transfer of lithium bromide solution in vertical tubes显示文摘Falling film generation process in lithium bromide absorption refrigeration generation system is researched in thispaper. To describe the coupled heat and mass transfer of laminar falling film in vertical generation tube, a mathematicalmodel is developed, in which the effect of mass transfer on heat transfer is carefully evaluated. Moreover,an equation related Re number with solution volume flow was also obtained in given conditions. We carried outthe experiments with the mass fraction of the inlet solution LiBr being 49.5% and obtained an empirical correlationof heat transfer with the film Re number and heat flux in different volume flow. 2Experimental Study and Analysis on Heat Transfer Coefficient of Radial Heat Pipe显示文摘The experimental study was performed on five eccentric radial heat pipes with two outer-tube diameters. The test range can be given as follows, working fluid filling ratio Ω=44%~83%,heat flux q=10000W/m2~32000W/m2,and working temperature tv=50 ℃~120 ℃.The correlations between radial heat pipe heat transfer performance and filling ratio, heat flux, working temperature were studied in the experiment.Based on linear regression of experimental data, the relationship between heat pipe equivalent heat resistance R and working temperature tv,heat flux q and filling ratio Ω was obtained.Chengming Shi Wang Yang Canjun Xu 2010Journal of Thermal Science2010,19,5:4

5AKG/OXGR1 promotes skeletal muscle blood flow and metabolism by relaxing vascular smooth muscle显示文摘In response to contraction during exercise, skeletal muscle growth and metabolism are dynamically regulated by nerve action, blood flow, and metabolic feedback.α-Ketoglutarate(AKG),a bioactive intermediate in the tricarboxylic acid cycle released during exercise, has been shown to promote skeletal muscle hypertrophy. However, the underlying mechanism of AKG in regulating skeletal muscle development and metabolism is still less known.2-Oxoglutarate receptor 1(OXGR1),the endogenous AKG receptor,is found to be distributed in the vascular smooth muscle(VSM)of skeletal muscles.OXGR1 knockout results in skeletal muscle atrophy, accompanied by decreased expression of myosin heavy chain I(MyHC I),capillary density, and endurance exercise capacity.Furthermore, the study found that dietary AKG supplementation increased mice endurance exercise distance,MyHC I/MyHC IIb ratio, arteriole, and capillary densities in skeletal muscle.Meanwhile, acute AKG administration gradually increased the blood flow in the lower limbs.Further,by using OXGR1 global knockout and OXGR1 VSM-specific(MYH11-Cre×OXGR1-FloxP)knockdown models,we found that OXGR1 in VSM is essential for AKG-induced improvement of skeletal muscle performances.According to the in vitro study,AKG expanded the cell area in VSM with a decreased intracellular pH by OXGR1.Our results demonstrated a novel role of AKG/OXGR1 in VSM of skeletal muscle to regulate blood flow and then enhance slow muscle fiber conversion and capillarization. These findings provide a theoretical basis for the AKG/OXGR1 signaling pathway to maintain human muscle function and improve meat production and livestock and poultry meat quality.Jinping Yang Guli Xu Yiming Xu Pei Luo Yexian Yuan Lin Yao Jingjing Zhou Yunlong Zhu Ishwari Gyawali Chang Xu Jinlong Feng Zewei Ma Yuxian Zeng Songbo Wang Ping Gao Canjun Zhu Qingyan Jiang Gang Shu 2022Life Metabolism2022,1,3:0
6Wear Resistance Improvement of Keeled Structure and Overlapped Distribution of Snake Scales显示文摘The movement mode of snakes is crawling, and the living environment of snakes with numerous branches and stones will cause plenty of wear for the snake scales. There are plenty of surface structures and morphology on snake scales to avoid severe wear.Among them, the research towards the keeled structure on snake scales is missing. Therefore,in this research, the wear resistance improvement of the keeled structure on the snake scales and the overlapped distribution of snake scales are investigated. The keeled and smooth snake scales were 3D printed and they were distributed on the substrate in the overlapped or paralleled ways.Besides these four samples with keeled/smooth scales and overlapped/paralleled distributed, there is also a reference sample with the same thickness.Based on the tribology test, the number of grooves of samples with the keeled structures is higher than that of samples with smooth surfaces, which indicates that the keeled structure dramatically enhances the wear resistance of snake scales, especially during the wear in the vertical direction. The experiment on surface morphology greatly compromised the result of the tribology test.In addition, the bottom portion of the keeled snake scales can be protected by the keeled structure.Besides, the overlapped distribution can protect the central region of snake scales and provide double-layer protection of the snake body.Overall, the keeled structure and the overlapped distribution play a significant part in the improvement of wear resistance of the snake skin. These findings can enhance the knowledge of the reptiles-mimic surface structure and facilitate the application of military uniforms under high-wear conditions.Chen Liu Yuting Chen Yuhan Zheng Jin Bo Canjun Yang Sun Xu Sheng Zhang 2023Journal of Bionic Engineering2023,20,3:0
