1Markov repairable systems with stochastic regimes switching显示文摘Compared with the classical Markov repairable system,the Markov repairable system with stochastic regimes switching introduced in the paper provides a more realistic description of the practical system.The system can be used to model the dynamics of a repairable system whose performance regimes switch according to the external conditions.For example,to satisfy the demand variation that is typical for the power and communication systems and reduce the cost,these systems usually adjust their operating regimes.The transition rate matrices under distinct operating regimes are assumed to be different and the sojourn times in distinct regimes are governed by a finite state Markov chain.By using the theory of Markov process,Ion channel theory,and Laplace transforms,the up time of the system are studied.A numerical example is given to illustrate the obtained results.The effect of sojourn times in distinct regimes on the availability and the up time are also discussed in the numerical example.Liying Wang Lirong Cui Mingli Yu 2011Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2011,22,5:5
2Responses of biotic interactions of dominant and subordinate species to decadal warming and simulated rotational grazing in Tibetan alpine meadow显示文摘Warming increases competition among plant species in alpine communities by ameliorating harsh environmental conditions,such as low temperatures. Grazing, as the main human activity, may mitigate the effect of warming, as previously reported.However, it is critical to refine the effects of warming on biotic interactions among species, for example, by taking the competitive ability of species into consideration. Based on a 10-year warming and grazing experiment in a Tibetan alpine meadow, we evaluated interspecific biotic interactions of dominant and subordinate species, using the approach of interspecific spatial associations. Warming significantly increased competition between subordinate and dominant species as well as among subordinate species, but not among dominant species. Moreover, facilitation of dominant-subordinate species also increased under warming. Simulated rotational grazing had similar effects to warming, with increasing interspecific competition. Our results show that, when studying the effects of warming on biotic interactions among species, it is necessary to characterize different species pairs relative to their competitive ability, and that simulated rotational grazing does not mitigate the effects of warming in the long term. 3Interferon as a Mucosal Adjuvant for an Influenza Vaccine in Pigs显示文摘Interferon,a natural protein that is produced by a variety of cells during viral infection,activates the transcription of multiple functional genes in cells,regulates synergy among various signaling pathways,and mediates many biological functions such as antiviral activity,immune regulation,and cell growth.However,clinical research on interferon in livestock is lacking.In this study,recombinant porcine interferon(PoIFNα)was used as an adjuvant,in combination with inactivated influenza virus,to vaccinate 6-week-old pigs via nasal infusion.The transcription of target genes was then monitored and the functions of PoIFNαwere determined with respect to the activation of mucosal immunity.We found that a combination of low-dose PoIFNαand in activated influenza virus could significantly up-regulate the expression of immunoregulatory cytokines such as IL-2,IL-1β,IFN-γ,IL-6,and IL-10 by real-time PCR,suggesting the induction of a strong mucosal innate immune response after administration.In addition,low-dose PoIFNαcan significant enhancing the transcription of genes encoding homing factors including CCR9 and CCR10(P<0.001),thereby resulting in the induction of higher levels of HA-specific antibodies(P<0.05),which can be determined by ELISA and IFA.Post-immunization challenges with H1N1 virus demonstrated that PoIFNot,combined with inactivated influenza virus,could alleviate clinical signs in pigs during the early stages of viral infection.These studies reveal low-dose PoIFNαas a potential mucosal adjuvant for influenza virus in pigs.Lirong Liu Wenhui Fan He Zhang Shuang Zhang Liang Cui Meng Wang Xiaoyuan Bai Wenxian Yang Lei Sun Limin Yang Wenjun Liu Jing Li 2019Virologica Sinica2019,34,3:3
4Nitrogen-carbon layer coated nickel nanoparticles for efficient electrocatalytic reduction of carbon dioxide显示文摘The application of nickel in electrocatalytic reduction of CO2 has been largely restricted by side reaction (hydrogen evolution reaction) and catalyst poisoning.Here we report a new strategy to improve the electrocatalytic performance of nickel for CO2 reduction by employing a nitrogen-carbon layer for nickel nanoparticles.Such a nickel electrocatalyst exhibits high Faradaic efficiency 97.5% at relatively low potential of-0.61 V for the conversion of CO2 to CO.Density functional theory calculation reveals that it is thermodynamically accomplishable for the reduction product CO to be removed from the catalyst surface,thus avoiding catalyst poisoning.Also,the catalyst renders hydrogen evolution reaction to be suppressed and hence reasonably improves catalytic performance.Dongxing Tan Chaonan Cui Jinbiao Shi Zhixun Luo Bingxing Zhang Xiuniang Tan Buxing Han Lirong Zheng Jing Zhang Jianling Zhang 2019Nano Research2019,12,5:3
5Different mechanisms of improving CH_(3)NH_(3)PbI_(3) perovskite solar cells brought by fluorinated or nitrogen doped graphdiyne显示文摘Fluorinated and nitrogen-doped graphdiyne(F/N-GDY)have been used in the active layer of perovskite solar cells(PSCs)for the first time.The introduction of heteroatoms turns out to be an effective method for boosted solar cells performance,which increases by 32.8%and 33.0%,better than the pristine or GDY doped PSCs.The enhanced performance can be attributed firstly to the superiority of F/N-GDY originated from the unique structure and optoelectronic properties of GDY.Then,both can further reduce surface defects and improve surface and bulk crystallinity than pristine GDY.What's more,efficiency increase caused by F-GDY is mainly attributed to the improvement of fill factor(FF),while the higher short-circuit current(Jsc)plays more important role by N-GDY doping.Most importantly,the detailed mechanism brought about by doping of F-GDY or N-GDY is expounded by systematical characterizations,especially the synchrotron radiation technique.Doping of F-GDY causes Pb and forms new Pb-F bonds between F-GDY and Pb ions.Doping of N-GDY or GDY brings about Pb(N-GDY doping induces more deviation than that of GDY due to the participation of imine N),improving its electron density and conductivity.Huan Huang Bing Liu Dan Wang Rongli Cui Xihong Guo Ying Li Shouwei Zuo Zi Yin Huanhua Wang Jing Zhang Hui Yuan Lirong Zheng Baoyun Sun 2022Nano Research2022,15,1:2

18Synchronous nanoscale topographic and chemical mapping by differential-confocal controlled Raman microscopy显示文摘Confocal Raman microscopy is currently used for label-free optical sensing and imaging within the biological,engineering,and physical sciences as well as in industry.However,currently these methods have limitations,including their low spatial resolution and poor focus stability,that restrict the breadth of new applications.This paper now introduces differential-confocal controlled Raman microscopy as a technique that fuses differential confocal microscopy and Raman spectroscopy,enabling the point-to-point collection of three-dimensional nanoscale topographic information with the simultaneous reconstruction of corresponding chemical information.The microscope collects the scattered Raman light together with the Rayleigh light,both as Rayleigh scattered and reflected light(these are normally filtered out in conventional confocal Raman systems).Inherent in the design of the instrument is a significant improvement in the axial focusing resolution of topographical features in the image(to^1 nm),which,when coupled with super-resolution image restoration,gives a lateral resolution of 220 nm.By using differential confocal imaging for controlling the Raman imaging,the system presents a significant enhancement of the focusing and measurement accuracy,precision,and stability(with an antidrift capability),mitigating against both thermal and vibrational artefacts.We also demonstrate an improved scan speed,arising as a consequence of the nonaxial scanning mode.HAN CUI YUN WANG LIRONG QIU SHUCHENG LI JONATHAN M.COOPER AND WEIQIAN ZHAO 2020Photonics Research2020,8,9:1
19Performance Measures for Systems Under Multiple Environments显示文摘In this paper, the system which operates in multiple environments is studied. The environment process is governed by a Markov process, and the deterioration process is governed by another Markov process given the system in a certain environment.
