15STEP-based Feature Recognition System for B-spline Surface Features显示文摘The geometrical and topological information of 3 D computer aided design(CAD) models should be represented as a neutral format file to exchange the data between different CAD systems. Exchange of 3 D CAD model data implies that the companies must exchange complete information about their products, all the way from design, manufacturing to inspection and shipping. This information should be available to each relevant partner over the entire life cycle of the product. This led to the development of an international standard organization(ISO) neutral format file named as standard for the exchange of product model data(STEP). It has been observed from the literature, the feature recognition systems developed were identified as planar, cylindrical, conical and to some extent spherical and toroidal surfaces. The advanced surface features such as B-spline and its subtypes are not identified. Therefore, in this work, a STEP-based feature recognition system is developed to recognize B-spline surface features and its sub-types from the 3 D CAD model represented in AP203 neutral file format. The developed feature recognition system is implemented in Java programming language and the product model data represented in STEP AP203 format is interpreted through Java standard data access interface(JSDAI). The developed system could recognize B-spline surface features such as B-Spline surface with knots, quasi uniform surface, uniform surface, rational surface and Bezier surface. 17Structural,optical and dielectric investigations on RECr_(0.85)Mn_(0.15)O_(3)(RE=Ho,Gd and Pr) nanoparticles显示文摘We hereby report the room-temperature structural and optical characterization of RECr_(0.85)Mn_(0.15)O_(3)(RECMO,RE=Ho,Gd and Pr) compounds synthesized by the auto-combustion sol-gel route.Their low temperature dielectric properties are also presented.The RECMO compounds crystallize in an orthorhombic Pbnm symmetry with an average grain size range of 51-80 nm.Structural analysis reveals an increase in the structural distortion compared to that of the undoped bulk compounds.Optical measurements exhibit a significant reduction in bandgap values for RECMO nanoparticles when compared with their undoped bulk compounds.Further,from the absorbance measurements various optical parameters such as skin depth,extinction coefficient,refractive index and optical conductivity were also calculated.The dielectric analysis confirms the lower values of the dielectric permittivity and dielectric loss than those of their corresponding bulk compounds.AC conductivity versus frequency and temperature data are fitted according to the Jonscher's power law and Arrhenius law,respectively.The small polaron hopping is responsible for the electric conduction in these compounds.The tunability of the optical and dielectric properties as a result of substitution and particle size reduction makes these materials useful for various potential applications in photocatalysis,optoelectronics and low permittivity dielectrics.Komal Kanwar Sonali Pradhan S.Satapathy Yugandhar Bitla Neeraj Panwar 2024Journal of Rare Earths2024,42,2:0
18Barium hexaferrite/muscovite heteroepitaxy with mechanically robust perpendicular magnetic anisotropy显示文摘Recent advances in the design and development of magnetic storage devices have led to an enormous interest in materials with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy(PMA)property.The past decade has witnessed a huge growth in the development of flexible devices such as displays,circuit boards,batteries,memories,etc.since they have gradually made an impact on people’s lives.Thus,the integration of PMA materials with flexible substrates can benefit the development of flexible magnetic devices.In this study,we developed a heteroepitaxy of BaFe_(12)O_(19)(BaM)/muscovite which displays both mechanical flexibility and PMA property.The particular PMA property was characterized by vibrating sample magnetometer,magnetic force microscopy,and x-ray absorption spectroscopy.To quantify the PMA property of the system,the intrinsic magnetic anisotropy energy density of~2.83 Merg cm−3 was obtained.Furthermore,the heterostructure exhibits robust PMA property against severe mechanical bending.The findings of this study on the BaM/muscovite heteroepitaxy have several important implications for research in next-generation flexible magnetic recording devices and actuators.Wei-En Ke Pao-Wen Shao Chang-Yang Kuo Haili Song Rong Huang Naoki Yagi Tsuyoshi Kimura Yugandhar Bitla Chun-Fu Chang Ying-Hao Chu 2021npj Flexible Electronics2021,5,1:0
