1An Algorithm for the Protection of Distribution Feeders Using the Stockwell and Hilbert Transforms Supported Features显示文摘Faults’recognition in the distribution feeders(DFs)is extremely important for improving the reliability of the distribution system.Therefore,this paper proposes a technique to identify the faults on the DF using the Stockwell Transform(ST)dependent variance feature and Hilbert transform(HT)by utilizing current signals.By element to element multiplication of the H-index,we compute using HT aided decompositions of current waveforms and VS-index,and calculate through ST aided decomposition of current waveforms.By utilizing the decision rules,various faults are classified.Different faults studied in this work are line to ground,double line,double line to ground and 3-Φto ground.For high fault impedance,this technique is effectively utilized.Furthermore,variations in the fault incidence angles are also utilized to test the performance of the proposed technique.To perform the proposed algorithm,a IEEE-13 bus system is developed in MATLAB/Simulink software.The algorithm effectively classified the faults with accuracy greater than 98%.The algorithm is also successfully validated on the IEEE-34 bus test system.Furthermore,the algorithm was successfully validated on the practical power system network.It is recognized that the developed method performed better than the discrete Wavelet transform(DWT)and ruled decision tree based protection scheme reported in various literature.OM Prakash Mahela Jaya Sharma Bipul Kumar Baseem Khan Hassan Haes Alhelou 2021CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2021,7,6:1

4Chemotherapy and drug resistance status of malaria parasite in northeast India显示文摘India reports the highest number of malaria cases in Southeast Asia,of which Plasmodium falciparum contribute more than half of the cases every year.North eastern states of India contribute only 3.96%of country’s population but account for>10%of total reported malaria cases.11%of Plasmodium falciparum cases and 20%of malaria related deaths annually.In India,chloroquine resistance was reported for the first time from northeast region and since then chloroquine treatment failure is being reported from many parts of the region.Increased chloroquine treatment failure has led to change of the drug policy to artemisinin combination therapy as first line of malaria treatment in the region.However,replacing chloroquine to artemisinin combination therapy has not shown significant difference in the overall malaria incidence in the region,The present review addresses the current malaria situation of northeastern region of India in the light of antimalarials drug resistance.Diganta Goswami Indra Baruah Sunil Dhiman Bipul Rabha Vijay Veer Lokendra Singh Dhirendra Kumar Sharma 2013Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2013,6,7:0
5Assessment of self-reacting bobbin tool friction stir welding for joining AZ31 magnesium alloy at inert gas environment显示文摘Research work presented in this study has the primary target of exploring joint attributes of AZ31 magnesium alloys using friction stir welding process with a modified tool referred as bobbin tool.Effects of inert and open atmosphere on mechanical properties are evaluated over a wide range of welding speed and tool rotation speed.Comparison of the research findings from the inert atmosphere bobbin tool were made with the traditional process of friction stir welding.The results depicted improved joint properties for inert atmosphere welding.Low and intermediate range of tool rotational speed is found to be favorable for bobbin tool friction stir welding without and with an inert medium,respectively.Controlled atmosphere due to inert medium leads to less oxidation of the AZ31 Mg alloy leading to superior joint properties.Microstructural investigations are also made with the aim of evaluating the impact of bobbin tool and inert medium on joint properties.In each aspect for joining of AZ31 Mg alloy,bobbin tool with inert medium is found to be an effective solution for joining with improved mechanical properties compared to without inert bobbin tool as well as conventional tool friction stir welding.Prakash Kumar Sahu Nikhil P Vasudevan Bipul Das Sukhomay Pal 2019Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2019,7,4:0
