1Metal-organic framework-derived Fe/Cu-substituted Co nanoparticles embedded in CNTs-grafted carbon polyhedron for Zn-air batteries显示文摘Metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)and MOF-derived materials have attracted great attention as alternatives to noble-metal based electrocatalysts owing to their intriguing structure properties,especially for high efficiency and stable oxygen reduction reaction(ORR).Herein,we employed a one-pot reaction to make a multimetal(Fe,Co,Cu,and Zn)mixed zeolitic imidazolate framework(MM-ZIF)via adopting a simple in situ redox reaction.Further pyrolysis of the target MM-ZIF,a highly porous carbon polyhedron(FC-C@NC)grafted with abundant carbon nanotubes was obtained,in which ultrasmall Co nanoparticles with partial lattice sites substituted by Fe and Cu were embedded.The obtained FC-C@NC possessed large surface area,highly porous structure,widely-spread metal active sites,and conductive carbon frameworks,contributing to outstanding ORR activity and long-term stability.It displayed superior tolerance to methanol crossover and exceeded the commercial Pt/C catalyst and most previously reported non-noble-metal catalysts.Impressively,the as-produced FC-C@NC-based zinc-air battery afforded an open-circuit potential of 1.466 V,a large specific capacity of 659.5 mAh/g,and a high gravimetric energy density of 784.3 Wh/kgZn,significantly outperforming the Pt/C-based cathode.Kexin Zhang Yelong Zhang Qinghua Zhang Zibin Liang Lin Gu Wenhan Guo Bingjun Zhu Shaojun Guo Ruqiang Zou 2020Carbon Energy2020,2,2:7

4Combination of Evodiamine with Berberine Reveals a Regulatory Effect on the Phenotypic Transition of Colon Epithelial Cells Induced by CCD-18Co显示文摘Objective Transdifferentiation exists between stromal cells or between stromal cells and cancer cells.Evodiamine and berberine are predominant pharmacological components of Zuojin pill,a prescription of Traditional Chinese Medicine,playing crucial functions in remolding of tumor microenvironment.This study aimed to explore the effect of combination of evodiamine with berberine(cBerEvo)on the phenotypic transition of colon epithelial cells induced by tumor-associated fibroblasts,as well as the involved mechanisms.Methods Human normal colon epithelial cell line HCoEpiC cells were treated with the prepared conditioned medium of CCD-18 Co,a human colon myofibroblast line,to induce epithelial-mesenchymal transition.Phase contrast microscope was used to observe the morphological changes.Epithelial-mesenchymal transition markers including E-cadherin,vimentin and alpha-smooth muscle actin(α-SMA)were observed with immunofluorescence microscopy.Migration was assessed by wound healing assay.Western blotting was used to detect the expressions of E-cadherin,vimentin,α-SMA,Snail,ZEB1 and Smads.Results In contrast to the control,the tumor-associated fibroblasts-like CCD-18 Co cells induced downregulation of E-cadherin and up-regulation of vimentin,α-SMA,Snail and ZEB1(P<0.05),and promoted migration of HCoEpiCs(P<0.05),with over expression of Smads including Smad2,p-Smad2,Smad3,p-Smad3 and Smad4(P<0.05),which were abolished by a transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β)receptor inhibitor LY364947 and by cBerEvo in a concentration dependent manner.In addition,cBerEvo-inhibited ratios of p-Smad2/Smad2 and p-Smad3/Smad3 were also dose dependent.Conclusion The above results suggest that cBerEvo can regulate the differentiation of colon epithelial cells induced by CCD-18 Co through suppressing activity of TGF-β/Smads signaling pathway.Chao Huang Keming Xiang Bingjun Liang Weixuan Huang Fanjun Zhang Yuwan Shao Xiulian Wang Haosheng Liu Weizeng Shen 2020Chinese Medical Sciences Journal2020,35,3:0

7Monodisperse silver microspheres: A facile BSA template method显示文摘The spherical silver mirco/nano-particles with narrow size distributions were obtained by chemical reduction of silver ammonia solution with ascorbic acid as reducing agent and bovine serum albumin (BSA) as bio-template. The effects of the concentration of Ag+ ions, BSA and ammonia, reactive temperature on the silver morphology and particle sizes were investigated. SEM, TEM and XRD were employed to characterize the morphology and structures of the prepared silver mirco/nano-particles. The results show that the spherical silver particle with smooth surface and narrow size distributions can be obtained by controlling the concentration of Ag+ ions, BSA, reaction temperature, etc. By controlling the above parameters, the silver spherical mirco/nano-particles with particle sizes ranging from 0.2 to 2.3 m can be well prepared, which is expected to be used in manufacturing high performance electronic pastes.YANG ATao ZHANG Jie LIANG ShuHua YANG ShengChun DING BingJun 2013Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,9:0
