| 2 | Mesozoic lithofacies palaeogeography and petroleum prospectivity in North Carnarvon Basin,Australia显示文摘The North Carnarvon Basin, which lies in the North West Shelf of Australia, is highly rich in gas resources. As a typical passive marginal basin, it experienced the pre-rifting, early rifting, main rifting, late rifting, post-rifting sagging and passive margin stages. The basin was mainly filled with thick Mesozoic-Cenozoic sediments, of which the Mesozoic hosts the principal source, reservoir and seal intervals. Mesozoic palaeogeography has an important control on the oil and gas distribution. Triassic gas-prone source rocks of deltaic origin deter-mine the high endowment of natural gases in the North Carnarvon Basin. The more restricted distribution of oil accumulations is controlled by oil source rocks in the Upper Jurassic Dingo Claystone. | 3 | Main Controls on Hydrocarbon Accumulation in the Paleozoic in Central Saudi Arabia显示文摘Saudi Arabia is renown for its rich oil and gas resources with the bulk of the reserves reservoired in the Mesozoic. However, the discovery of Paleozoic fields in the late 1980s has encouraged further exploration in the Paleozoic. This paper reviews the salient features of the Paleozoic petroleum geology in central Saudi Arabia and discusses the main factors controlling hydrocarbon accumulation in the Paleozoic. The Lower Silurian Qusaiba hot shale is the principal source rock for the hydrocarbons discovered in the Ordovician to Permian reservoirs. Of them, the Permo-Carboniferous Unayzah and Upper Ordovician Sarah Formations have the best exploration potential. The key factors controlling hydrocarbon accumulation in the Unayzah Formation are migration pathways and reservoir petrophysics. | 4 | Tectonic Evolution of the Junggar Foreland Basin in the Late Carboniferous-Permian显示文摘A comprehensive study has been carried out to subdivide andcorrelate the Upper Carboniferous and Permian sedimentary successions in the Junggar basin based on outcrops and drilling and geophysical data. The study results, combined with geological analyses of the basin's periphery and the basement, as well as studies of the sedimentary rocks within the basin, the unconformities, tectonic geometry, kinematics and geodynamics, lead to the conclusion that the Junggar basin was characterized by the development of foreland basin systems during the Late Carboniferous and Per mian, During that period, three foreland basin systems were developed: (1) the northwest foreland basin system, which trended nearly north-south from Mahu to the Chepaizi Palaeo-mountain during its early stage of development and thus it was also referred to as the west foreland basin system; (2) the Karamaili foreland basin system in the east and (3) the Northern Tianshan foreland basin system in the south. These systems are different in size, development stage and time of formation. The first two are developed earlier than the third, but they are smaller in size. All the structures in the Junggar basin have resulted from the integration and superposition of structural elements in the above three systems. In general, the development of the Junggar basin can be divided into four stages. Stage I was marked by the creation and evolution of the marginal western foreland and the peripheral Karamaili foreland basin systems during the Late Carboniferous-early Early Permian (C3-Pja). Stage Ⅱ was characterized by the development of complicated foreland basin systems during the mid dle-late Early Permian (Pjb-Pf) when the three foreland basin systems took their shapes. Stage Ⅲ was the integration stage of peripheral foreland basin systems during the Middle Permian (P2) in which steady and slow tectonic subsidence prevailed. | 7 | Fluid Flow History in Lower Triassic Bulgo Sandstone,Central Sydney Basin,Australia显示文摘The fluid flow history during diagenesis of the Lower Triassic Bulgo sandstone has been investigated through integrated analyses of petrography, stable isotope and fluid inclusion. Combined application of these techniques was intended to constrain the temperature, timing, chemistry and source of pore fluids during diagenetic cementation events in the Lower Triassic Bulgo sandstone. The diagenesis proceeded in two different flow regimes: early dynamic fluid flow regime and late slow static fluid flow regime. The former was characterized by a slight increase of δ( 18 O) of pore waters form estimated -15×10 -3 to -14×10 -3 with the temperature increasing from ~10 ℃ to ~75 ℃. During early diagenesis, early clays and pore filling carbonates precipitated from the pore waters. The late slow flow/static fluid regime was characterized by a rapid 18 Oenrichment process. δ( 18 O) of pore waters increased from -14×10 -3 to -5×10 -3 with the temperature increasing from 75 ℃ to 110 ℃. During the late diagenesis, kaolin (generation Ⅱ), quartz and illite crystallized. | 9 | Advances, opportunities, and challenge for full-color emissive carbon dots显示文摘Carbon dots(CDs), novel luminescent zero-dimensional carbon nanomaterials, have been widely applied due to their low toxicity, optimal optical properties, and easy modification. However, the current controllable equipment and mechanism explanation of CDs are relatively vague and require urgent resolution.Full-color emission CDs, an essential CDs category, have attracted people’s attention given their light and color-tunable properties. In addition to a wider range of biological and optoelectronic device applications, full-color emission CDs have similar structures and significantly affected the fluorescence mechanism of CDs. At present, few studies have reported on the summary research of CDs emitted by its full color, which greatly limits the development of CDs mechanisms and applications. As such, the present review detailed the full-color CDs development status, to which a suitable method for preparing full-color CDs was presented and the existing fluorescence emission mechanism of full-color CDs was summarized.Herein, we comprehensively introduced full-color CDs applications in biology and optoelectronics. Finally,we made an outlook on the development and potential applications of full-color CDs. | 16 | CMAB009 plus irinotecan versus irinotecan-only as second-line treatment after fluoropyrimidine and oxaliplatin failure in KRAS wild-type metastatic colorectal cancer patients:promising findings from a prospective,open-label,randomized,phase III trial显示文摘Background:The 5-fluorouracil/leucovorin plus oxaliplatin(FOLFOX)regimen is the standard first-line treatment for metastatic colorectal cancer(mCRC),however,the optimal second-line regimen for KRAS wild-type mCRC patients is still investigational.In this study,we aimed to determine the clinical efficacy and safety of CMAB009 plus irinotecan compared to irinotecan-only as a second-line regimen for treating KRAS wild-type mCRC patients.Methods:Patients with KRAS wild-type mCRC who had previously failed to respond to FOLFOX treatment were ran-domly assigned in a 2:1 ratio,to receive CMAB009 plus irinotecan or irinotecan-only.Patients receiving irinotecan-only were permitted to switch to CMAB009 therapy on disease progression and were grouped as the sequential-CMAB009 arm.The primary endpoints were overall response rate(ORR)and median progression-free survival(PFS).The second-ary endpoints were median overall survival(OS),disease control rate(DCR),clinical benefit rate(CBR),and duration of response(DOR).Results:The CMAB009 plus irinotecan arm demonstrated significantly improved ORR(33.2%vs.12.8%;P<0.001)and longer median PFS(169 days vs.95 days;P<0.001)as compared to the irinotecan-only arm.Patients receiv-ing CMAB009 plus irinotecan also demonstrated improved DCR(80.1%vs.65.2%,P<0.001),CBR(30.0%vs.14.6%,P<0.001),and DOR(210 days vs.109 days;P<0.001)as compared to irinotecan-only.However,patients treated with CMAB009 had an increased risk of skin rash(66.9%vs.5.5%,P<0.001)and paronychia(9.8%vs.0.0%,P<0.001).Anti-drug antibodies(ADA)were detected in 3.6%of patients,and only 0.9%of patients who received CMAB009 experienced hypersensitivity reactions.In patients receiving sequential-CMAB009 therapy after failure with irinotecan,their median PFS was 84 days (95% CI 65 to 113 days). The median OS was 425 days for patients receiving CMAB009 plus irinotecan and 401 days for those with sequential-CMAB009 (P = 0.940). Conclusions: Treatment with CMAB009 plus irinotecan was found to be a superior second-line regimen in com-parison to irinotecan-only in KRAS wild-type mCRC patients. Further, switching to CMAB009 can be considered as an efficient third-line of treatment after treatment failure with second-line irinotecan-only. | 18 | Formation mechanisms of good-quality clastic reservoirs in deep formations in rifted basins:A case study of Raoyang sag in Bohai Bay Basin,East China显示文摘In order to reveal the development mechanism of high-quality clastic rock reservoir, the basic characteristics of Sha-3 Member of the Shahejie Formation in the Raoyang sag, Bohai Bay Basin, are analyzed based on cores observation, thin-sections and SEM images, and petrophysical properties measurements as well. It is found that high-mature composition and texture, early oil charging, and dissolution are the main factors controlling the formation and preservation of pores in deep reservoirs. Compaction is the major factor destructing pores, whereas formation overpressure is conducive to the preservation of original pores, high compositional and medium textural maturity can enhance the resistance capacity to compaction and protect primary pores. Early oil charging could lead to temporary cessation of diagenesis and thus inhibit the cementation. When organic acids entered reservoir formations, considerable amounts of secondary pores were formed, leading to the local improvement of petrophysical properties. | 19 | Prototypes,modifications,and hydrocarbon enrichment variations in basins influenced by Tethyan evolution:A comparative analysis of the Persian Gulf Basin and the Sichuan Basin显示文摘The hydrocarbon accumulation modes and differences in the Tethyan realm serve as a hot research topic in the petroleum geology community at home and abroad.Both the Persian Gulf Basin in the Middle East and the Sichuan Basin in China,situated on the southern and northern sides of the Tethyan realm,respectively,record the whole geological process of the opening and closure of the Prototethys,the Paleotethys,and the Neotethys sequentially,exhibiting anomalous hydrocarbon enrichment.Based on the analysis of the plate tectonic evolution in the Tethyan realm,this study dissects the structures and hydrocarbon accumulation conditions of both basins.Followed by a systematic comparative analysis of the factors controlling hydrocarbon enrichment in the process of plate breakup and convergence in the Tethyan realm,this study proposes petroleum exploration targets in the realm.The results are as follows:(1)Since the Meso-Neoproterozoic,the Persian Gulf Basin and the Sichuan Basin have undergone similar tectonic evolution in the early stage but different in the late stage.Under the influence of the formation and evolution of the Prototethys,Paleotethys,and Neotethys oceans,both basins experienced multi-stage development and modification,forming two major extension-convergence cycles.Consequently,both basins are characterized by the vertical orderly superimposition of various basin prototypes in the order of rift-intracratonic basin(passive continental margin)-foreland.(2)The fact that the Tethyan realm was long located at medium-low latitudes and the local anoxic environment formed in the process of plate breakup and convergence played a vital role in the formation of extensive source rocks.The source rocks are predominantly distributed in underfilled rifts and deep depressions that were connected to the ocean in the unidirectional continental breakup process;basin-slopes and intra-shelf basins on passive continental margins;basinal lows within intracratonic basins,and underfilled foredeeps in foreland basins.The favorable areas for the formation of carbonate reservoirs include platform margins,submarine highs and paleo-uplifts within platforms,and fault zones.The evaporite cap rocks,intimately associated with the basin evolutionary stages and global dry-hot events,are critical for large-scale hydrocarbon preservation.(3)Under the influence of Tethyan evolution,the Persian Gulf Basin and the Sichuan Basin share similar primary factors controlling hydrocarbon enrichment.The moderate tectono-sedimentary differentiation and structural modification in the process of prototype basin superimposition,as well as the spatio-temporal matching of elements critical for hydrocarbon accumulation,are beneficial for the development of large oil and gas fields.The macroscopic hydrocarbon distribution is dictated by source rock-cap rock assemblages,while the local hydrocarbon distribution is governed by trap-reservoir assemblages.The critical factors determining the differential hydrocarbon enrichment in the Persian Gulf Basin and the Sichuan Basin include plate size and position,basement stability,eustatic movement,paleoclimate,and tectonic transformation.Besides,different tectonic modification intensities are closely related to the type,enrichment degree,and distribution of hydrocarbon reservoirs. | Zhiliang HE Zhijun JIN Shuangjian LI Guoping BAI Xueyan LV Jinrui GUO Jian GAO Jinyin YIN Yingqiang LI Dingye ZHENG | 2023 | Science China Earth Sciences2023,66,12: | 0 |
