1Phytochemistry and pharmacology of genus Ephedra显示文摘The genus Ephedra of the Ephedraceae family contains more than 60 species of nonflowering seed plants distributed throughout Asia, America, Europe, and North Africa. These Ephedra species have medicinal, ecological, and economic value. This review aims to summarize the chemical constituents and pharmacological activities of the Ephedra species to unveil opportunities for future research. Comprehensive information on the Ephedra species was collected by electronic search(e.g., GoogleScholar, Pubmed, Sci Finder, and Web of Science) and phytochemical books. The chemical compounds isolated from the Ephedra species include alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, polysaccharides, and others. The in vitro and in vivo pharmacological studies on the crude extracts, fractions and few isolated compounds of Ephedra species showed anti-inflammatory, anticancer, antibacterial, antioxidant, hepatoprotective, anti-obesity, antiviral, and diuretic activities. 3CNT@MnO_(2) composite ink toward a flexible 3D printed micro-zinc-ion battery显示文摘Flexible energy storage devices have played a significant role in multiscenario applications,while flexible zinc-ion batteries(ZIBs),as an essential branch,have developed rapidly in recent years.Three-dimensional(3D)printing is an extremely advanced technology to design and modify the structure of batteries and provides unlimited possibilities for the diversified development of energy storage equipment.Herein,by utilizing 3D printing technology,carbon nanotube(CNT)is coated by MnO_(2) to form a flexible CNT@MnO_(2) ink as a cathode for flexible aqueous micro-ZIBs for the first time and zinc powder ink is used as an anode due to its high flexibility and bendability.The Zn//CNT@MnO_(2) flexible battery shows a stable capacity of 63μAh cm^(−2) at 0.4mA cm^(−2).When the battery is bent in different states,the maximum capacity loss compared with the initial value is only 2.72%,indicating its stability.This study shows the potential of 3D printing technology in the development of flexible manganese-based ZIBs.Yujin Ren Fanbo Meng Siwen Zhang Bu Ping Hui Li Bosi Yin Tianyi Ma 2022Carbon Energy2022,4,3:5
4A comparative study on different regeneration processes of Pt-Sn/γ-Al2O3 catalysts for propane dehydrogenation显示文摘Three different regeneration processes including hydrogen or nitrogen purging and coke-burning treatment were used to restore the Pt-Sn/γ-Al_2O_3 catalysts, through which propane dehydrogenation reaction was performed in a consecutive reaction-regeneration mode. It was found that the catalyst using hydrogen regeneration showed the best stability compared with those regenerated by nitrogen purging and coke-burning treatment, suggesting that hydrogen regeneration is an effective approach for maintaining the performance of Pt-Sn/γ-Al_2O_3 catalysts in propane dehydrogenation reaction. The effect of different regeneration atmospheres on the metal active center and the coke deposition was investigated by XRD,TEM, N_2-physisorption, TPO, TG and Raman technologies, and the results revealed that hydrogen or nitrogen regeneration resulted in little impact on the size and structure of metal active center, retaining the effective Pt Sn phase over the catalyst. Moreover, hydrogen regeneration not only removed the low dense components of the coke, but also altered the property of the residual coke through hydrogenation, leading to a higher mobility of coke, and thus a higher accessibility of the metal active centers. Whereas nitrogen regeneration only removed the low dense components of the coke. 5A Macaca mulatta model of fulminant hepatic failure显示文摘AIM:To establish an appropriate primate model of fulminant hepatic failure (FHF).METHODS:We have,for the first time,established a large animal model of FHF in Macaca mulatta by intraperitoneal infusion of amatoxin and endotoxin.Clinical features,biochemical indexes,histopathology and iconography were examined to dynamically investigate the progress and outcome of the animal model.RESULTS:Our results showed that the enzymes and serum bilirubin were markedly increased and the enzyme-bilirubin segregation emerged 36 h after toxin administration.Coagulation activity was significantly decreased.Gradually deteriorated parenchymal abnormality was detected by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and ultrasonography at 48 h.The liver biopsy showed marked hepatocyte steatosis and massive parenchymal necrosis at 36 h and 49 h,respectively.The autopsy showed typical yellow atrophy of the liver.Hepatic encephalopathy of the models was also confirmed by hepatic coma,MRI and pathological changes of cerebral edema.The lethal effects of the extrahepatic organ dysfunction were ruled out by their biochemical indices,imaging and histopathology.CONCLUSION:We have established an appropriate large primate model of FHF,which is closely similar to clinic cases,and can be used for investigation of the mechanism of FHF and for evaluation of potential medical therapies.Ping Zhou Jie Xia Gang Guo Zi-Xing Huang Qiang Lu Li Li Hong-Xia Li Yu-Jun Shi Hong Bu 2012World Journal of Gastroenterology2012,18,5:3
6Proportions of acetyl-histone-positive hepatocytes indicate the functional status and prognosis of cirrhotic patients显示文摘AIM:To investigate whether the proportions of acetylhistone-positive hepatocytes could be used as markers of deteriorating liver function.METHODS:In total,611 cirrhotic cases from 3701 patients who were diagnosed during the past 15 years were screened,and 152 follow-up cases were selected.Paraffin tissue microarray was prepared for immunohistochemistry to examine acetyl-histone expression.The proportions of positive hepatocytes were recorded,and their correlations to clinical and laboratory indicators were analyzed statistically.RESULTS:The proportions of H2AK5ac+,H3K9/K14ac+ and H3K27ac+ hepatocytes gradually increased with deteriorating liver function and with increasing levels of serum markers of liver injury.In the follow-up cases,patients with > 70% H2AK5ac+,H3K9/K14ac+ or H3K27ac+ hepatocytes had statistically lower survival rates(P < 0.05).Furthermore,> 70% H2AK5ac+ or H3K27ac+ hepatocytes were strong independent predictors of overall survival(P < 0.05).CONCLUSION:The proportions of acetyl-histonepositive hepatocytes are closely associated with the liver function and prognosis of cirrhotic patients.Ping Zhou Jie Xia Yong-Jie Zhou Jun Wan Li Li Ji Bao Yu-Jun Shi Hong Bu 2015World Journal of Gastroenterology2015,21,21:2
7A durable 4-1BB-based CD19 CAR-T cell for treatment of relapsed or refractory non-Hodgkin lymphoma显示文摘Objective:Previous studies reported that 4-1BB-based CD19 chimeric antigen receptor(CAR)-T cells were more beneficial for the clinical outcomes than CD28-based CAR-T cells,especially the lower incidence rate of severe adverse events.However,the median progression-free survival(mPFS)of 4-1BB-based product Kymriah was shorter than that of CD28-based Yescarta(2.9 months vs.5.9 months),suggesting that Kymriah was limited in the long-term efficacy.Thus,a safe and durable 4-1BB-based CD19 CAR-T needs to be developed.Methods:We designed a CD19-targeted CAR-T(named as IM19)which consisted of an FMC63 scFv,4-1BB and CD3ζintracellular domain and was manufactured into a memory T-enriched formulation.A phase I/II clinical trial was launched to evaluate the clinical outcomes of IM19 in relapsed or refractory(r/r)B cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma(B-NHL).Dose-escalation investigation(at a dose of 5×10^(5)/kg,1×10^(6)/kg and 3×106/kg)was performed in 22 r/r B-NHL patients.All patients received a single infusion of IM19 after 3-day conditional regimen.Results:At month 3,the overall response rate(ORR)was 59.1%,the complete response rate(CRR)was 50.0%.The mPFS was 6 months and the 1-year overall survival rate was 77.8%.Cytokine release syndrome(CRS)occurred in 13 patients(59.1%),with 54.5%of grade 1−2 CRS.Only one patient(4.5%)experienced grade 3 CRS and grade 3 neurotoxicity.Conclusions:These results demonstrated the safety and durable efficacy of a 4-1BB-based CD19 CAR-T,IM19,which is promising for further development and clinical investigation.Zhitao Ying Ting He Shanzhao Jin Xiaopei Wang Wen Zheng Ningjing Lin Meifeng Tu Yan Xie Lingyan Ping Weiping Liu Lijuan Deng Yanping Ding Xuelian Hu Bing Bu Xin’an Lu Yuqin Song Jun Zhu 2022Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2022,34,1:2

9Biological effect on sugar beet seeds induced by ion implantation显示文摘Through experimental analysis of peroxidase isozyme in the leaves of sugar beets, it has been verified that the enzyme activity of dry sugar beet seeds is closely connected with the doses of N+ ion implanted, and that low dosage implantation helps to bring about enzyme activation. Meanwhile, new enzyme bands appear, and the growing quantity and trend of sugar beets increase distinctly. 14Theoretical Study on the Addition Reactions of Benzaldoximes with Propene显示文摘The Michael addition reactions of Z and E benzaldoximes with propene were investigated theoretically by DFT method at B3LYP/6-31G* level. The calculation results show that both addition reactions are concerted processes accompanied by the migration of hydrogen from the atom oxygen to carbon. Both products Z and E nitrones have dipolar charge distributions and activities. 19The Giant Radio Array for Neutrino Detection(GRAND):Science and design显示文摘The Giant Radio Array for Neutrino Detection(GRAND)is a planned large-scale observatory of ultra-high-energy(UHE)cosmic particles,with energies exceeding 10~8 Ge V.Its goal is to solve the long-standing mystery of the origin of UHE cosmic rays.To do this,GRAND will detect an unprecedented number of UHE cosmic rays and search for the undiscovered UHE neutrinos and gamma rays associated to them with unmatched sensitivity.GRAND will use large arrays of antennas to detect the radio emission coming from extensive air showers initiated by UHE particles in the atmosphere.Its design is modular:20 separate,independent sub-arrays,each of 10000 radio antennas deployed over 10000 km^2.A staged construction plan will validate key detection techniques while achieving important science goals early.Here we present the science goals,detection strategy,preliminary design,performance goals,and construction plans for GRAND.Jaime Alvarez-Muniz Rafael Alves Batista Aswathi Balagopal V. 20Effect of Co-solvent and Pressure on the Thermal Decomposition of 2,2′Azobis-(isobutyronitrile) in Supercritical CO_2显示文摘The thermal decomposition of 2, 2(-azobis (isobutyronitrile) (AIBN) in supercritical CO2 with cosolvent methanol or cyclohexane has been studied by using UV/Vis spectroscopic method at 335.15 K and at 12.0 MPa and 14.0 MPa.
