| 1 | 老年男性勃起功能及迟发性性腺功能减退症状与下尿路症状严重性的关系显示文摘本文旨在研究土耳其爱琴海地区的老年男性下尿路症状(LUTSs)、勃起功能障碍(ED)和有症状的迟发性性腺功能减退症(SLOH)三者间的关系。符合以下标准的500名男性患者被纳入该研究:40周岁以上;过去6个月内有稳定的性关系;在六个泌尿外科诊所之一进行过就诊登记。每位患者均行血清PSA、睾酮水平及尿流率的检测,并填写国际前列腺症状评分和生活质量评分(IPSS-QoL)量表、国际勃起功能指数(IIEF)问卷和老年男性症状(AMS)量表。在所有的研究对象中,23.9%的患者有轻度LUTSs,53.3%有中度LUTSS,22.8%有重度LUTSS。每组间总睾酮水平无明显差异。除此之外,69.6%的病人患有ED,且ED的发生率与LUTS严重性呈正相关。71.2%的患者出现SLOH(AMS〉27),且IPSS评分越高,严重的性腺功能减退症状的发生率也越高。相关性分析显示以上三种问卷分数之间有显著关联。总之,LUTS严重性是ED和SLOH的非年龄依赖性危险因素,LUTS严重性和SLOH症状之间似乎有显著的相关性,但还需要从病因学和生物学角度进行深入阐明。 | Ozan Bozkurt Deniz Bolat Omer Demir Oktay Ucer Ali Sahin Burak Ozcift Abdulkadir Pekta Tahir Turan Bilal H Gümü Ertan Cans Ahmet Bolukbasi Haluk Erol Adil Esenx | 2013 | Asian Journal of Andrology2013，15，6： | 4 |
| 2 | Isolation and diagnosis of Helicobacter pylori by a new method: Microcapillary culture显示文摘AIM:To investigate the performance of the microcapillary culture method(MCM) in Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori) isolation and diagnosis.METHODS:Microcapillary culture(MC),classical culture(CC),rapid urease(CLO) test,and histopathologic examination(HE) were performed with biopsy samples.Homogenized biopsy samples were loaded into capillary tubes and incubated for 48 h at 37 ℃ without providing a microaerophilic environment.Additionally,three or four loops of the homogenized sample were inoculated in a ready-to-use selective medium(Becton Dickinson,Helicobacter Agar,Modified) specific for the isolation of H.pylori and incubated at 37 ℃ in a microaerophilic atmosphere provided by Campy Gen(Becton Dickinson,Gas Pack).Bacteria reproducing in microcapillary tubes were evaluated in an inverted microscope and also were evaluated after performing a CC with the content.Results obtained by CC,CLO test,and HE were compared with those of MC.The diagnostic performances of the methods used in this study were evaluated for specificity,sensitivity,positive predictive value(PPV),negative predictive value(NPV),and CI.RESULTS:H.pylori was found positive by CLO test +HE and/or CC culture in 26 patient antrum and corpus biopsy samples.In 25(25/26) patient biopsy samples,H.pylori was isolated by MCM,whereas in only 14(14/26) patient biopsy samples,H.pylori was isolatedby CC.CLO test and HE were found positive in 17(17/26) patient biopsy samples.Comparing the results of the isolation of H.pylori by MCM,CC,CLO test,and HE,the sensitivity of the MCM was found as 96%,the specificity as 80%,the PPV as 83%,the NPV as 95%,and the 95%CI as 0.76(χ2 =31.51,P < 0.01) whereas the sensitivity of the CC was found as 54%(χ2 =19.15,P < 0.01),and the sensitivity of the CLO test and HE were found as 65%(χ2 =25.26,P < 0.01).CONCLUSION:This new microcapillary cultivation method for H.pylori has high diagnostic sensitivity compared with CC,HE,and CLO tests. | Adil M Allahverdiyev Melahat Bagirova Reyhan Caliskan Hrisi Bahar Tokman Hayat Aliyeva Gokce Unal Olga Nehir Oztel Emrah Sefik Abamor Hilal Toptas Pelin Yuksel Fatma Kalayci Mustafa Aslan Yusuf Erzin Kadir Bal Bekir S Kocazeybek | 2015 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2015，21，9： | 2 |
| 3 | Changing trends in prevalence of different Plasmodium species with dominance of Plasmodium falciparum malaria infection in Aligarh(India)显示文摘Objective:To determine the prevalence of malaria in Aligarh and analyze species dominance in different years over a decade.Methods:Diagnosis of malaria was done using microscopy as gold standard,rapid antigen detection assays and quantitative buffy coat(QBC) assays.Giemsa stained blood smear examination was done,thick and thin films were examined for presence of different Plasmodium spp.Rapid antigen detection assays employing detection of HRP-2 and parasite lactate dehydrogenase antigen(pLDH) by immunochromatography was done in patients whose blood smear found to be negative by conventional Giemsa slide examination.QBC was done in cases where there is strong clinical suspicion of malaria with blood smear negative,in patients with chronic malaria,splenomegaly,or in those patients who had inadequate treatment and for post-treatment follow up.Results:Plasmodium vivax and Plasmodium falciparum were only species detected in our hospital.Overall prevalence of malaria in Aligarh was found to be 8.8%.The maximum prevalence of 20.1%was observed in year 2008 and lowest 2.3%in 2002.
