| 1 | Research advances on the multiple uses of Moringa oleifera: a sustainable alternative for socially neglected population显示文摘Moringa oleifera Lam(Moringaceae) is a plant with high nutritional and medicinal value. Native to India, it is now widely distributed throughout tropical and subtropical regions of the world. Its different parts are sources of proteins, vitamins and minerals and present different pharmacological and biotechnological potential. Moreover, M. oleifera seeds are widely used in water and effluent treatment, for their coagulation, flocculation and sedimentation properties, their ability of improving water quality, by reducing organic matter and microbial load, with special applicability in intensive animal production systems, such as aquaculture. In addition, due to its high nutritional value and several medicinal properties, this tree may act as a nutritional and medical alternative for socially neglected populations. | 2 | Enamel microabrasion: An overview of clinical and scientific considerations显示文摘Superficial stains and irregularities of the enamelare generally what prompt patients to seek dental intervention to improve their smile. These stains or defects may be due to hypoplasia, amelogenesis imperfecta, mineralized white spots, or fluorosis, for which enamel microabrasion is primarily indicated. Enamel microabrasion involves the use of acidic and abrasive agents, such as with 37% phosphoric acid and pumice or 6% hydrochloric acid and silica, applied to the altered enamel surface with mechanical pressure from a rubber cup coupled to a rotatory mandrel of a lowrotation micromotor. If necessary, this treatment can be safely combined with bleaching for better esthetic results. Recent studies show that microabrasion is a conservative treatment when the enamel wear is minimal and clinically imperceptible. The most important factor contributing to the success of enamel microabrasion is the depth of the defect, as deeper, opaque stains, such as those resulting from hypoplasia, cannot be resolved with microabrasion, and require a restorative approach. Surface enamel alterations that result from microabrasion, such as roughness and microhardness, are easily restored by saliva. Clinical studies support the efficacy and longevity of this safe and minimally invasive treatment. | 3 | Bone marrow-derived monocyte infusion improves hepatic fibrosis by decreasing osteopontin,TGF-β1,IL-13 and oxidative stress显示文摘AIM To evaluate the therapeutic effects of bone marrowderived CD11b+CD14+ monocytes in a murine model of chronic liver damage. METHODS Chronic liver damage was induced in C57BL/6 mice by administration of carbon tetrachloride and ethanol for 6 mo. Bone marrow-derived monocytes isolated by immunomagnetic separation were used for therapy. The cell transplantation effects were evaluated by morphometry,biochemical assessment,immunohistochemistry and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. RESULTS CD11b+CD14+ monocyte therapy significantly reduced liver fibrosis and increased hepatic glutathione levels. Levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines,including tumor necrosis factor-α,interleukin(IL)-6 and IL-1β,in addition to pro-fibrotic factors,such as IL-13,transforming growth factor-β1 and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-1 also decreased,while IL-10 and matrix metalloproteinase-9 increased in the monocytetreated group. CD11b+CD14+ monocyte transplantation caused significant changes in the hepatic expression of α-smooth muscle actin and osteopontin. | 4 | 利用现场测试的加速度和速度数据确定位移的积分方法评价(英文)显示文摘目的:本文旨在研究不同波长载荷(包括车厢长度、构架长度以及轴距等)对位移确定的影响,利用积分方法确定位移的有效性和重复性的适用范围,以及研究列车速度和轴荷载对变形量的影响,为轨道基础位移监测提供重要的方法。创新点:1.评价和分析一种积分方法,该方法利用低通滤波法但不消除产生变形的主要频率;2.通过对位移、速度和加速度传感器在时域和频域结果的比较,使重复性得到保证。方法:利用线性可变差位移传感器、地震检波器以及加速度计获取轨道不同深度的位移、速度和加速度,然后利用巴特沃兹低通滤波器对3类数据进行滤波。通过对速度一阶积分、加速度二阶积分,获得由3种传感器测试得到的位移并验证其准确性。结论:通过测试和分析发现,95%的位移幅值来自于波长大于轴距(2.8 m)的激励,对应的低频为25 Hz(列车运行速度为200 km/h)。通过线性可变差位移传感器、地震检波器以及加速度计直接获得或间接积分获得的位移十分接近,验证了积分方法的有效性,且其具有较高的可重复性。 | F.LAMAS-LOPEZ Y.J.CUI S.
