	1	Islands of stability and quasi-magic numbers for super- and ultra-heavy nuclei显示文摘In the framework of Strutinsky's approach,we calculated the shell and the residual pairing correction energies for 5569 even-even nuclei in the range 72≤Z≤282 and 96≤N≤540.Quasi-magic numbers and deformed islands of stability that reside in a range defined by Green's formula and the two-neutrons drip line are introduced.We present 36 quasi-magic proton and 53 quasi-magic neutron magic numbers that contribute to the formation of133 deformed islands of stability along the N-Z space.The quasi-magic proton and neutron magic numbers volatile as the mass number increases and other magic numbers take over.Consequently,the deformed islands of stability fail to exhibit a pattern along the search space covered. 	2	Search for dark matter production in association with the Z′ boson at the LHC in pp collisions at √s=8 TeV using Monte Carlo simulations显示文摘This analysis evaluates the possibility of the search for Dark Matter(DM)particles using events with a Zf heavy gauge boson and a large missing transverse momentum at the Large Hadron Collider(LHC).We consider the muonic decay of Z'.The analyzed Monte Carlo samples were the Open simulated files produced by the Compact Muon Solenoid(CMS)collaboration for proton-proton collisions,corresponding to an integrated luminosity of the LHC run-I with 19.7 fb^(-1) at √s=8 TeV.Two scenarios,namely a simplified benchmark scenario,called Dark Higgs,and the effective field theory(EFT)formalism,were used for interpretations.Limits were set on Z′,dark matter masses,and the cutoff scale of the EFT.
