1Fuzzy interface treatment in Eulerian method显示文摘In this paper, we incorporate fuzzy mathematics approach into the Eulerian method to simulate three dimensional multi-material interfaces. In particular, we propose a fuzzy interface treatment for describing interfaces, designing transport plans, and computing transport quantities. Using a set of three-dimensional inviscid isothermal elastic-plastic hydrodynamic equations, we simulate shaped charge jet in different filled dynamite structures. Strain and stress have been under consideration in simulations. 2Nutrient fluxes induced by disturbance in Meiliang Bay of Lake Taihu显示文摘A wave flume experiment was conducted to study nutrient fluxes at water-sediment interface of Meiliang Bay under different hydrodynamic conditions. The results reveal that hydrodynamics has remarkable effects on nutrient fluxes in this area. With a bottom wave stress of 0.019 N m-2 (equivalent to disturbance caused by wind SE 5-7 m s-1 at the sediment sample site of Meiliang Bay), the fluxes of TN, TDN and NH4+-N were separately 1.92× 10-3, -1.81 × 10-4 and 5.28× 10-4 mg m-2 s-1(positive for upward and negative for downward), but for TP, TDP and SRP, the fluxes were 5.69 × 10-4, 1.68 × 10-4 and -1.29 × 10-4 mgm-2 s-1. In order to calculate the released amount of nutrients based on these results, statistic analysis on the long-term meteorological data was conducted.The result shows that the maximum lasting time for wind SE 5-7 m s-1 in this area is about 15 h in summer. Further calculation shows that 111 t TN, 32 t NH4+-N, 34 t TP and 10 t TDP can be released into water (the sediment area was 47.45% of the whole surface area), resulting in concentration increase of 0.025, 0.007, 0.007 and 0.002 mg L-1 separately. With stronger disturbance (bottom wave stress is 0.217 N m-2 which is equivalent to disturbance caused by wind SE 10-11 m s-1 at the same site), there has been significant increase of nutrient fluxes (1.16× 10-2, 6.76×10-3, 1.14× 10-2 and 2.14× 10-3 mgm-2 s-1 for TN, DTN and NH4+-N and TP). The exceptions were TDP with flux having a decrease (measured to be 9.54× 10-5 mgm-2 s-1 ) and SRP with flux having a small increase (measured to be 5.42 × 10-5 mgm-2 s-1). The same statistic analysis on meteorological data reveal that the maximum lasting time for wind SE 10-11 m s-1 is no more than 5 h. Based on the nutrient fluxes and the wind lasting-time, similar calculations were also made suggesting that 232 t TN, 134.9 t TDN, 228 t NH4+-N, 42.7 t TP, 2.0 t TDP and 1.1 t SRP will be released from sediment at this hydrodynamic condition resulting in the concentration increases of 0.050, 0.029, 0.049, 0.009, 0.0004 and 0.0002 mg L-1. Therefore in shallow lakes, surface disturbance can lead to significant increase of nutrient concentrations although some components in water column had negative flux with weak disturbance (e.g. TDN and SRP in this experiment). In this case, sediment looks to be a source of nutrients. 3气液并流吸收过程中液相近界面浓度分布的全息干涉测量显示文摘Real-time laser holographic interferometry was applied to measure liquid concentrations of CO2 in the vicinity of gas-liquid free interface under the conditions of cocurrent gas-liquid flow for absorption of CO2 by ethanol. The influences of the Reynolds number on the measurable interface concentration and on the film thickness were discussed. The results show that CO2 concentration decreases exponentially along the mass transfer direction,and the concentration gradient increases as Reynolds number of either liquid or gas increases. CO2 concentrations fluctuate slightly along the direction of flow; on the whole, there is an increase in CO2 concentration. The investigation also demonstrated that film thickness decreases with the increase of Reynolds number of either of the two phases. 4The thermoelastic excitation of air-solid interface waves using the pulsed laser显示文摘Applying the integral transform to the coupled problem of thermoelastic and heat conduction equations, the integral representation of the normal displacement field for the air-solid interface waves excited by a pulsed laser line source is obtained. The pole residues of the integrand are performed analytically, and the transient displacement field is calculated by using FFT technique. The thermoelastic excitation and detection of the air-solid interface waves is carried out by a laser ultrasonic system, on which the pulsed laser is focused into a line source onto the interface to excite the air-solid interface waves: leaky Rayleigh wave and Scholte wave, and the interface waves displacement signal is detected successfully by a SH130 laser heterodyne interferometer. 5The structural stability in nano-sized crystals of metals显示文摘The equation of phase equilibria in nano-sized crystal of metals has been established in terms of thermodynamic equilibrium. The thermodynamic parameters are calculated and the critical grain size for the stable high-temperature phase at room temperature is obtained. As an example, the critical grain size of β-Co at room temperature is determined at 35nm when the excess volume is 10%. The result agrees well with the experiment of Katakimi et al. 6Valence electron structure of cementite phase and its interface and the tempering phenomenon显示文摘Tempering is an important phenomenon in ferrous alloys. Most steels, especially alloy-ing steels, are used after quenching and tempering. To design the composition of quenching andtempering steels, control the tempering process more effectively, improve the properties aftertempering and realize the potentials of steels, the essence of tempering process and the proper-ties of tempering products have to be understood. In this paper, the phase structure factors andinterface conjunction factors of common alloying elements in cementite and its interface are calcu-lated out. The relationships between these valence electron structure parameters and (i) thephenomena of martensite decomposition, (ii) transformation, gathering and growth of the carbidesand (iii) the mechanical properties of tempering products are built up. The nature of the effect ofalloying elements on tempering process and properties of tempering products is uncovered on thelevel of valence electron structure. 7Interface conjunction factors of thermal barrier coatings and the relationship between factors and composition显示文摘In thermal barrier coatings (TBC), ceramics is covered on the metal matrix as coatings in order to raise its temperature endurance. Today most of the TBCs are of the double-layer-struc- ture of Ni base heat-resistant alloy matrix + the bonding layer of MCrAlY alloy (M = Ni, Co, Ni + Co) + ZrO2. In this paper, the concept of interface conjunction factor (ICF) in the biphase interface of alloys is expanded to coatings. The ICFs of the interface between the ceramics and the bonding layers with various compositions, such as the electron density r, the electron density difference Dr, and the number of atom state group which keeps the electron density continuous s are calculated. From the calculation results, the following estimations can be deduced. When Al content is less than 6 wt% it improves the mechanical properties of the coatings; when the content is 6 wt%—12 wt% it will not worsen the properties; when the content is greater than 12 wt% it will have disad-vantageous effect. The estimations accord well with the experiment results of the properties and the service time of the coatings. 9On-line parallel reversed phase two-dimensional liquid chromatography for high-throughput analysis of complex proteomic samples显示文摘A comprehensive two-dimensional liquid chromatographic system (2D SCX/RP) is con- structed with a 10-port-2-way valve using strong cation exchange chromatography (Hypersil SCX, 100 mm×4.6 mm I.D.) followed by reversed phase chromatography (Hypersil BDS C18, 15 mm×4.6 mm I.D.) to separate the complex peptides from globin peptic hydrolysate. After the sample was loaded on the SCX column, the phosphate buffer (pH 4.0) was used to elute the peptides. Then, elutes flowed through the interface and the peptides focused on the head of the trapping columns (Hypersil BDS C18, 15 mm×4.6 mm I.D.) but salt passed into the waste. After the valve was switched, the samples were flushed with a backward flow into the RP analytical column. The peptides on the SCX were eluted with 12 discontinuous steps linearly increasing salt concentrations. The peptides enriched on the trapping column were desalted and separated by the RP columns. 10Effective elastic moduli and interface effects of nano-crystalline materials显示文摘Many properties of nanocrystalline materials are associated with interface effects. Based on their micro-structural features, the influence of interfaces on the effective elastic property of nanocrystalline materials is investigated. First, the Mori-Tanaka method is employed to determine the overall effective elastic moduli by considering a nanocrystalline material as a binary composite solid consisting of a crystal or inclusion phase with regular lattice connected by an amorphous-like interface or matrix phase. The effects of strain gradients are then examined on the effective elastic property by using the strain gradient theory to analyze a representative unit cell. Two interface mechanisms are elucidated that influence the effective stiffness and other mechanical properties of materials. 13Charge transfer across the water/nitrobenzene interface by three-electrode system显示文摘A droplet of aqueous solution containing a certain molar ratio of redox couple is first attached onto a platinum electrode surface, then the resulting drop electrode is immersed into the organic solution containing very hydrophobic electrolyte. Combined with reference and counter electrodes, a classical three-electrode system has been constructed. Ion transfer (IT) and electron transfer (ET) are investigated systematically using three-electrode voltammetry. Potassium ion transfer and electron transfer between potassium ferricyanide in the aqueous phase and ferrocene in nitrobenzene are observed with potassium ferricyanide/potassium ferrocyanide as the redox couple. Meanwhile, the transfer reactions of lithium, sodium, potassium, proton and ammonium ions are obtained with ferric sulfate/ferrous sulfate as the redox couple. 14Systematic study of the transfer of amino acids across the water/1,2-dichloroethane interface facilitated by dibenzo-18-crown-6显示文摘Facilitated ion transfer reactions of 20 amino acids with dibenzo-18-crown-6 (DB18C6) at the water/1,2-dichloroethane (W/DCE) interfaces supported at the tips of micro- and nano-pipets were investigated systematically using cyclic voltammetry. It was found that there were only 10 amino acids, that is, Leu, Val, Ile, Phe, Trp, Met, Ala, Gly, Cys, Gln (in brief), whose protonated forms as cations can give well-defined facilitated ion transfer voltammograms within the potential window, and the reaction pathway was proven to be consistent with the transfer by interfacial complexation/dissociation (TIC/TID) mechanisms. The association constants of DB 18C6 with different amino acids in the DCE (β0), and the kinetic parameters of reaction were evaluated based on the steady-state voltammetry of micro- or nano-pipets, respectively. The experimental results demonstrated that the selectivity of complexation of protonated amino acid by DB18C6 compared with that of alkali metal cations was low, which can be attributed to the vicinal effect arising from steric hindrance introduced by their side group and the steric bulk effect by lipophilic stabilization. 15Bonding Strength of Ni/Ni3Al Interface with Different Lattice Misfit显示文摘The interfacial binding covalent bond density (CBD) and the local environmental total bond order (LTBO) of the Ni/Ni3Alinterface with different lattice misfits (δ) were calculated by using first-principles discrete variation Xα method. It was foundthat the effects of lattice misfits on the electronic structures of incoherent Ni/Ni3Al interface were very obvious. On one hand,less than -0.6% negative lattice misfit can promote the binding strength of γ/γ′ interface. On the other hand, the totalbonding strength of γ/γ′ interface decreases with increasing δ. 16Second harmonic generation at the interface of copper tetra-tert-butyl phthalocyanine Langmuir-Blodgett film/metal显示文摘Optical second harmonic generation (SHG) from the copper tetra-tert-butyl phthalocya-nine (CuttbPc) Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) film deposited on a metal-coated glass slide substrate has been investigated. It is considered that the symmetry of the CuttbPc molecule may be broken by the space charge-induced electric field (SCIEF) due to the exchanged charges at the CuttbPc LB film/metal interface. A four-layer model is used to explain the nonlinear optical process in the CuttbPc LB film. The thickness dependence, polarized and incident angle dependence of SHG signal from CuttbPc LB films are calculated. The results of calculation show a good agreement with the experimental data. 17Exchange fluxes of nutrients between sediment and sea water in the Bohai Sea显示文摘Investigations of sediment-water fluxes of nutrients in the Bohai Sea were carried out in September - October 1998 and April - May 1999. The exchange fluxes of nutrients between sediment and sea water were determined by incubating the core-top sediments with overlying water aerated with air. The benthic fluxes of NO3- , NO2- , NH4+ , DIN, DON and TON in the first cruise and the flux-es of NO3 , NO2- , NH4+ , DIN, DON, TDN, PO43- , DOP and TDP in the second cruise were measured. The exchange fluxes of nutrients in fall were higher than in spring. 18New Adhesive Material for Construction Joint of Tunnel Lining显示文摘The new adhesive material for the construction joints of tunnel lining(named as SZC) was studied based on the structural characteristics of interfaces and the characteristic of bonding construction,and the performance indexes were verified by tests.
