1Rapid Identification of Rice Samples Using an Electronic Nose显示文摘Four rice samples of long grain type were tested using an electronic nose (Cyranose-320).Samples of 5 g of each variety ofrice were placed individually in vials and were analyzed with the electronic nose unit consisting of 32 polymer sensors.TheCyranose-320 was able to differentiate between varieties of rice.The chemical composition of the rice odors for differentiatingrice samples needs to be investigated.The optimum parameter settings should be considered during the Cyranose-320 trainingprocess especially for multiple samples,which are helpful for obtaining an accurate training model to improve identificationcapability.Further,it is necessary to investigate the E-nose sensor selection for obtaining better classification accuracy.A re-duced number of sensors could potentially shorten the data processing time,and could be used to establish an application pro-cedure and reduce the cost for a specific electronic nose.Further research is needed for developing analytical procedures thatadapt the Cyranose-320 as a tool for testing rice quality.John Westbrook W.C.Hoffmann R.E.Lacey 2009Journal of Bionic Engineering2009,6,3:28
2Analyzing the Flavor Compounds in Chinese Traditional Fermented Shrimp Pastes by HS-SPME-GC/MS and Electronic Nose显示文摘Shrimp paste is a type of condiments with high nutritional value.However,the flavors of shrimp paste,particularly the non-uniformity flavors,have limited its application in food processing.In order to identify the characteristic flavor compounds in Chinese traditional shrimp pastes,five kinds of typical commercial products were evaluated in this study.The differences in the volatile composition of the five products were investigated.Solid phase micro-extraction method was employed to extract the volatile compounds.GC-MS and electronic nose were applied to identify the compounds,and the data were analyzed using principal component analysis(PCA).A total of 62 volatile compounds were identified,including 8 alcohols,7 aldehydes,3 ketones,7 ethers,7 acids,3 esters,6 hydrocarbons,12 pyrazines,2 phenols,and 7 other compounds.The typical volatile compounds contributing to the flavor of shrimp paste were found as follows:dimethyl disulfide,dimethyl tetrasulfide,dimethyl trisulfide,2,3,5-trimethyl-6-ethyl pyrazine,ethyl-2,5-dimethyl-pyrazine,phenol and indole.Propanoic acid,butanoic acid,furans,and 2-hydroxy-3-pentanone caused unpleasant odors,such as pungent and rancid odors.Principal component analysis showed that the content of volatile compounds varied depending on the processing conditions and shrimp species.These results indicated that the combinations of multiple analysis and identification methods could make up the limitations of a single method,enhance the accuracy of identification,and provide useful information for sensory research and product development.FAN Yan YIN Li-ang XUE Yong LI Zhaojie HOU Hu XUE Changhu 2017Journal of Ocean University of China2017,16,2:25

6Studies on the analytical potential energy function of diatomic molecular ion XY^+ using variational method显示文摘A new analytical potential energy function for diatomic molecular ion XY+ is proposed based on the energy consistent method (ECM). The Coulomb potential included in the new ionic potential contains multipole corrections, converges quickly and is variationally changeable. The new potential and the ECM are applied to variationally studying the potential energies of eight electronic states of several diatomic molecular ions: the A2P state of CO+, the X2+g state of 2+Li, the X2+g state of 2,+Hethe 12Pu state of ,+2Nathe A2Pu state of ,+2N the X1S+ state of KrH+, the X2S+ state of SiO+ and the A2P state of SO+ ion. 7Inorganic semiconducting materials for flexible and stretchable electronics显示文摘Recent progress in the synthesis and deterministic assembly of advanced classes of single crystalline inorganic semiconductor nanomaterial establishes a foundation for high-performance electronics on bendable,and even elastomeric,substrates.The results allow for classes of systems with capabilities that cannot be reproduced using conventional wafer-based technologies.Specifically,electronic devices that rely on the unusual shapes/forms/constructs of such semiconductors can offer mechanical properties,such as flexibility and stretchability,traditionally believed to be accessible only via comparatively low-performance organic materials,with superior operational features due to their excellent charge transport characteristics.Specifically,these approaches allow integration of high-performance electronic functionality onto various curvilinear shapes,with linear elastic mechanical responses to large strain deformations,of particular relevance in bio-integrated devices and bio-inspired designs.This review summarizes some recent progress in flexible electronics based on inorganic semiconductor nanomaterials,the key associated design strategies and examples of device components and modules with utility in biomedicine.Ki Jun Yu Zheng Yan Mengdi Han John A.Rogers 2017npj Flexible Electronics2017,1,1:14
8Deceptive jamming suppression in multistatic radar based on coherent clustering显示文摘This paper proposes a suppression method of the deceptive false target(FT) produced by digital radio frequency memory(DRFM) in a multistatic radar system. The simulated deceptive false targets from DRFM cannot be easily discriminated and suppressed with traditional radar systems. Therefore, multistatic radar has attracted considerable interest as it provides improved performance against deception jamming due to several separated receivers. This paper first investigates the received signal model in the presence of multiple false targets in all receivers of the multistatic radar. Then, obtain the propagation time delays of the false targets based on the cross-correlation test of the received signals in different receivers. 9New strategy for designing orangish-redemitting phosphor via oxygen-vacancyinduced electronic localization显示文摘Phosphor-converted white-light-emitting diodes(pc-WLED)have been extensively employed as solid-state lighting sources,which have a very important role in people’s daily lives.However,due to the scarcity of the red component,it is difficult to realize warm white light efficiently.Hence,red-emitting phosphors are urgently required for improving the illumination quality.In this work,we develop a novel orangish-red La_(4)GeO_(8):Bi^(3+) phosphor,the emission peak of which is located at 600 nm under near-ultraviolet(n-UV)light excitation.The full width at half maximum(fwhm)is 103 nm,the internal quantum efficiency(IQE)exceeds 88%,and the external quantum efficiency(EQE)is 69%.According to Rietveld refinement analysis and density functional theory(DFT)calculations,Bi^(3+) ions randomly occupy all La sites in orthorhombic La_(4)GeO_(8).Importantly,the oxygen-vacancy-induced electronic localization around the Bi3+ions is the main reason for the highly efficient orangish-red luminescence.These results provide a new perspective and insight from the local electron structure for designing inorganic phosphor materials that realize the unique luminescence performance of Bi^(3+) ions.Yi Wei Gongcheng Xing Kang Liu Guogang Li Peipei Dang Sisi Liang Min Liu Ziyong Cheng Dayong Jin Jun Lin 2019Light(Science & Applications)2019,8,1:12
10A Phenol-containing α-Diimine Ligand for Nickel-and Palladium-Catalyzed Ethylene Polymerization显示文摘A phenol-containing dibenzhydryl-based α-diimine ligand bearing hydroxy group on para-position of aniline moiety was designed, synthesized, and investigated in Ni-and Pd-catalyzed ethylene polymerization. The Ni complex bearing hydroxy groups resulted in not only high polyethylene molecular weight(Mn up to 1.5 × 10^~6), but also significantly increased melting temperature(Tm up to 123℃) and greatly decreased branching density(33/1000 C) versus the Ni catalyst bearing OMe group on para-position of aniline moiety. This is consistent with the hypothesis that the deprotonation of the phenol moiety generated a phenoxide bearing strong electrondonating O-substituent by methylaluminoxane(MAO) cocatalyst. 12First-principles calculation of dehydrogenating properties of MgH_2-V systems显示文摘Based on experimental results in which VH0.81/MgH2 interface was found during the process of mechanically milling MgH2+5at%V nanocomposite, a VH/MgH2 in- terface is designed and constituted in this work. A first-principles plane-wave pseudopo- tential method based on Density Functional Theory (DFT) has been used to investigate the vanadium alloying effects on the dehydrogenating properties of magnesium hydride, i.e., MgH2. A low absolute value of the negative heat of formation of VH/MgH2 interface compared with that of MgH2 indicates that vanadium hydrides befit to improve the dehydrogenating properties of MgH2. Based on the analysis of the density of states (DOS) and the total valence electron density distribution of MgH2 before and after V alloying, it was found that the improvement of the dehydrogenating properties of MgH2 caused by V alloying originates from the increasing of the valence electrons at Fermi level (EF) and the decreasing of the HOMO-LUMO gap ( Δ E H ?L) after V alloying. The catalysis effect of V on dehydrogenating kinetics of MgH2 may attribute to a stronger bonding between V and H atoms than that between Mg and H atoms, which leads to nucleation of the α-Mg at the VH/MgH2 interface in the MgH2-V systems easier than that in pure MgH2 phase.ZHOU Dianwu PENG Ping LIU Jinshui 2006Science China(Technological Sciences)2006,49,2:10

15Low-cost,μm-thick,tape-free electronic tattoo sensors with minimized motion and sweat artifacts显示文摘Electronic tattoos(e-tattoos),also known as epidermal electronics,are ultra-thin and ultra-soft noninvasive but skin-conformable devices with capabilities including physiological sensing and transdermal stimulation and therapeutics.The fabrication of e-tattoos out of conventional inorganic electronic materials used to be tedious and expensive.Recently developed cut-and-paste method has significantly simplified the process and lowered the cost.However,existing cut-and-paste method entails a medical tape on which the electronic tattoo sensors should be pasted,which increases tattoo thickness and degrades its breathability.To address this problem,here we report a slightly modified cut-and-paste method to fabricate low-cost,open-mesh e-tattoos with a total thickness of just 1.5μm.E-tattoos of such thinness can be directly pasted on human skin and conforms to natural skin texture.We demonstrate that this ultra-thin,tape-free e-tattoo can confidently measure electrocardiogram(ECG),skin temperature,and skin hydration.Heart rate and even respiratory rate can be extracted from the ECG signals.A special advantage of such ultra-thin e-tattoo is that it is capable of high-fidelity sensing with minimized motion artifacts under various body movements.Effects of perspiration are found to be insignificant due to the breathability of such e-tattoos.Youhua Wang Yitao Qiu Shideh Kabiri Ameri Hongwoo Jang Zhaohe Dai YongAn Huang Nanshu Lu 2018npj Flexible Electronics2018,2,1:9
16Banding and electronic structures of metal azides——Sensitivity and conductivity显示文摘By using both DV-Xα and EH-CO methods, the calculation studies of the structure-property relationships of a series of metal azides, of their clusters’ electronic structures in ground and excited states, of their systems with cation vacancy and the doped Pb(N3)2, as well as their crystal band structures have been conducted. The results show that the sensitivity of ionic-type metal azides varies with the degree of difficulty of electronic transition of the losing charge on N3. A metal azide with cation vacancies has a greater sensitivity than the perfect one. When doped with monovalent metal ions, lead azide’s sensitivity increased; when with trivalent ones, its sensitivity decreased; when with divalent ones, little of it changed. Compared with heavy metal azides. an alkali metal azide has a larger band gap, a smaller band width and a greater transition energy of frontier electron with a smaller amount of losing charge on N3, and thus has lower sensitivity and conductivity than heavy metal azides.肖鹤鸣 李永富 1995Science China Chemistry1995,38,5:9
17First-principles study on the electronic structure and optical properties of CrSi_2显示文摘Using the first principle methods based on the plane-wave pseudo-potential theory, band structure, density of states and optical properties of CrSi2 were studied. The calculation of band structure shows that CrSi2 is an indirect semiconductor whose band gap is 0.353 eV. Density of states is mainly composed of 3d electron of Cr and 3p electron of Si. Dielectric function, refractive index, reflectivity, and absorption coefficient of CrSi2 are also calculated. 18First-principle study on the electronic structure of stressed CrSi_2显示文摘The electronic structure of stressed CrSi2 was calculated using the first-principle methods based on plane-wave pseudo-potential theory. The calculated results showed that, under the uniaxial compression, the energy level of CrSi2 shifted toward high energy and its energy gap became wider with the increasing uniaxial stress, while the gap became narrower under the negative uniaxial stress. 19Reliability-based multidisciplinary design optimization using incremental shifting vector strategy and its application in electronic product design显示文摘Use of multidisciplinary analysis in reliabilitybased design optimization(RBDO) results in the emergence of the important method of reliability-based multidisciplinary design optimization(RBMDO). To enhance the efficiency and convergence of the overall solution process,a decoupling algorithm for RBMDO is proposed herein.Firstly, to decouple the multidisciplinary analysis using the individual disciplinary feasible(IDF) approach, the RBMDO is converted into a conventional form of RBDO. Secondly,the incremental shifting vector(ISV) strategy is adopted to decouple the nested optimization of RBDO into a sequential iteration process composed of design optimization and reliability analysis, thereby improving the efficiency significantly. Finally, the proposed RBMDO method is applied to the design of two actual electronic products: an aerial camera and a car pad. For these two applications, two RBMDO models are created, each containing several finite element models(FEMs) and relatively strong coupling between the involved disciplines. 20Survey of E-Commerce Modeling and Optimization Strategies显示文摘Electronic commerce is impacting almost all commercial activities. The resulting emerging commercial activities bring with them many new modeling and optimization problems. This survey reviews pioneering works in this new area, covering topics in advertising strategy, web page design, automatic pricing, auction methods, brokerage strategy, and customer behavior analysis. Mathematical models for problems in these areas and their solution algorithms are discussed. In addition to presenting and commenting on these works, we also discuss possible extensions and related problems.
