| 1 | Human Cyber Physical Systems(HCPSs)in the Context of New-Generation Intelligent Manufacturing显示文摘An intelligent manufacturing system is a composite intelligent system comprising humans,cyber systems,and physical systems with the aim of achieving specific manufacturing goals at an optimized level.This kind of intelligent system is called a human-cyber-physical system(HCPS).In terms of technology,HCPSs can both reveal technological principles and form the technological architecture for intelligent manufacturing.It can be concluded that the essence of intelligent manufacturing is to design,construct,and apply HCPSs in various cases and at different levels.With advances in information technology,intelligent manufacturing has passed through the stages of digital manufacturing and digital-networked manufacturing,and is evolving toward new-generation intelligent manufacturing(NGIM).NGIM is characterized by the in-depth integration of new-generation artificial intelligence(AI)technology(i.e.,enabling technology)with advanced manufacturing technology(i.e.,root technology);it is the core driving force of the new industrial revolution.In this study,the evolutionary footprint of intelligent manufacturing is reviewed from the perspective of HCPSs,and the implications,characteristics,technical frame,and key technologies of HCPSs for NGIM are then discussed in depth.Finally,an outlook of the major challenges of HCPSs for NGIM is proposed. | Zhou Ji Zhou Yanhong Wang Baicun Zang Jiyuan | 2019 | Engineering2019,5,4: | 98 |

| 5 | Knowledge of, attitudes towards, and practice relating to schistosomiasis in two subtypes of a mountainous region of the People’s Republic of China显示文摘Background:Schistosomiasis japonica is still endemic in the People’s Republic of China(P.R.China)in five provinces of lake and marshland regions and in two provinces of mountainous regions.Studies elucidated that individual and community perception,attitudes towards schistosomiasis,and hygiene behaviors were crucial factors for preventing schistosomiasis.This study sought to assess the knowledge of,attitudes towards,and practices(KAP)relating to schistosomiasis in two subtypes of a mountainous region in Eryuan County,Yunnan Province,P.R.China.The study’s aim is to make suggestions for establishing more specific and effective control measures for disease transmission and interruption in two subtypes of a mountainous region with low-level infection rates.Methods:A cross-sectional study of 3,000 inhabitants was carried out in the Yongle(plateau basin)and Xinzhuang(plateau canyon)communities of Eryuan County,Yunnan Province in November and December 2011.Stratified cluster random sampling was undertaken using a uniform set of quantitative questionnaires administered by trained assistants.This was further supported with qualitative data from in-depth interviews(IDIs)conducted with ten farmers and ten students.All participants were examined for schistosomiasis using both a serological test(indirect hemagglutination assay[IHA])and a stool examination(Kato-Katz).Results:The total schistosomiasis knowledge rate in Yongle(83.4%)was significantly lower than that in Xinzhuang(95.5%).In both communities,among the respondents aged 15 years or below,more than one third didn’t know the name,endemic areas,and animal reservoirs of schistosomiasis.The majority of respondents in Eryuan acquired their schistosomiasis knowledge from doctors,followed by handouts and hearing from others.The infection rate was once the highest in Yongle,but is now the highest in Xinzhuang,where there are more risk factors for schistosomiasis,such as frequently grazing cattle,digging vegetables or cutting grass in the field,as well as raising cattle by free grazing.Conclusion:In short,Eryuan County’s overall knowledge rate of schistosomiasis was found to be high.Due to various dominating risk factors,different control strategies should be designed keeping in mind the two different subtypes of endemic areas for schistosomiasis in mountainous regions,namely plateau basins and plateau canyons. | Lu Liu Guo-Jing Yang Hong-Ru Zhu Kun Yang Lin Ai | 2014 | Infectious Diseases of Poverty2014,3,1: | 14 |

| 7 | A view on big data and its relation to Informetrics显示文摘Purpose:Big data offer a huge challenge.Their very existence leads to the contradiction that the more data we have the less accessible they become,as the particular piece of information one is searching for may be buried among terabytes of other data.In this contribution we discuss the origin of big data and point to three challenges when big data arise:Data storage,data processing and generating insights.Design/methodology/approach:Computer-related challenges can be expressed by the CAP theorem which states that it is only possible to simultaneously provide any two of the three following properties in distributed applications:Consistency(C),availability(A)and partition tolerance(P).As an aside we mention Amdahl’s law and its application for scientific collaboration.We further discuss data mining in large databases and knowledge representation for handling the results of data mining exercises.We further offer a short informetric study of the field of big data,and point to the ethical dimension of the big data phenomenon.Findings:There still are serious problems to overcome before the field of big data can deliver on its promises.Implications and limitations:This contribution offers a personal view,focusing on the information science aspects,but much more can be said about software aspects.Originality/value:We express the hope that the information scientists,including librarians,will be able to play their full role within the knowledge discovery,data mining and big data communities,leading to exciting developments,the reduction of scientific bottlenecks and really innovative applications. | Ronald ROUSSEAU | 2012 | Chinese Journal of Library and Information Science2012,,3: | 13 |

| 10 | Basic life support:knowledge and attitude of medical/paramedical professionals显示文摘BACKGROUND:Basic life support(BLS),a key component of the chain of survival decreases the arrest-cardiopulmonary resuscitation interval and increases the rate of hospital discharge.The study aimed to explore the knowledge of and attitude towards basic life support(BLS)among medical/paramedical professionals.METHODS:An observational study was conducted by assessing response to self prepared questionnaire consisting of the demographic information of the medical/paramedical staff,their personnel experience/attitude and knowledge of BLS based on the 2005 BLS Guidelines of European Resuscitation Council.RESULTS:After excluding incomplete questionnaires,the data from 121 responders(27 clinical faculty members,21 dental and basic sciences faculty members,29 house officers and 44 nurses and health assistants)were analyzed.Only 9(7.4%)of the 121 responders answered≥11,53(43%)answered 7-10,and 58(48%)answered<7 of 15 questions correctly.The clinical faculty members,house officers and nurses/HA had a mean score of 7.4±3.15,7.37±2.02 and 6.63±2.16 respectively,while dental/basic sciences faculty members attained a least mean score of 4.52±2.13(P<0.001).Those who had received cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR)training within 5 years obtained a highest mean score of 8.62±2.49,whereas those who had the training more than 5 years back or no training obtained a mean score of 5.54±2.38 and 6.1±2.29 respectively(P=0.001).Those who were involved in resuscitation frequently had a higher median score of 8 in comparison to those who were seldom involved or not involved at all(P<0.001).CONCLUSIONS:The average health personnel in our hospital lack adequate knowledge in CPR/BLS.Training and experience can enhance knowledge of CPR of these personnel.Thus standard of CPR/BLS training and assessment are recommended at our hospital. | Shrestha Roshana Batajoo KH Piryani RM Sharma MW | 2012 | World Journal of Emergency Medicine2012,3,2: | 11 |

| 12 | On utilization of a priori knowledge in inversion of remote sensing models显示文摘Satellite remote sensing deals with a complex system coupling atmosphere and surface. Any physical model with reasonable precision needs several to tens of parameters. Without a priori knowledge of these parameters, Proposition 3 of Verstraete et al. requires the number of independent observations to be greater than the number of unknown parameters. This requirement can hardly be satisfied even in the coming EOS era. As Tarantola pointed out, the inversion problems in geoscience are always underdetermined in some sense. In order to make good use of every kind of a priori knowledge for effectively extracting information from remote sensing observations, the right question to set is as follows: Given an imperfect model and a certain amount of a priori information on model parameters, in which sense should one modify the a priori information, given the actual observation with noise? A priori knowledge of physical parameters can be presented in different ways such as physical limits, global statistical means and variance for a certain landcover type, or previous statistics and temporal variation of a specific target. When such a priori knowledge can be expressed as joint probability density, Bayessian theorem can be used in the inversion to obtain posterior probability densities of parameters using newly acquired observations. There is no prerequirement on how many independent observations must be made, and the knowledge gained merely depends on the information content of the new observations. | 13 | Association of cancer prevention awareness with esophageal cancer screening participation rates: Results from a population-based cancer screening program in rural China显示文摘Objective: : China have implemented population-based esophageal cancer(EC) screening programs, however,the participant rates were relatively low. This study was conducted to examine the association between cancer prevention knowledge and EC screening participation rates(PRs).Methods: : Data in the analyses were obtained from a population-based cancer screening program in four provinces in China since 2007. In the course of 2007-2016, participants who were evaluated as high risk for EC and subsequently recommended for endoscopy examination were included in the final analysis. One-way analysis of variance test, Chi-square test and logistic regression analysis were applied.Results: : A total of 28,543 individuals assessed as high-risk population for EC were included in this study, with13,036 males(45.67%) and 15,507 females(54.33%). The prevalence rates of current smoking and alcohol drinking were higher in males(58.25% and 44.22%, respectively) than in females(5.35% and 4.05%, respectively).Participants of females, and those who had older age, lower income, as well as higher education level and cancer prevention knowledge level were more likely to undergo endoscopy. Multivariable analysis showed that higher cancer prevention knowledge was associated with higher PR for endoscopic screening [adjusted odd ratio(aORQ4/Q1) =1.511, 95% confidence interval(95% CI): 1.398-1.632] among our study subjects. This association between cancer prevention knowledge and compliance with endoscopic screening also tends to be strong within subgroups of males, females, aged below 60 years, aged 60 years and above, and lower level of education(illiterate individuals and those with junior high education or less).Conclusions: : Our results displayed a positive relationship between cancer prevention knowledge and PRs for endoscopic screening, implying cancer prevention awareness being an independent influence factor for compliance with EC screening. | 18 | Effects of regulating intestinal microbiota on anxiety symptoms: A systematic review显示文摘Background Anxiety symptoms are common in mental diseases and a variety of physical disorders, especially in disorders related to stress. More and more basic studies have indicated that gut microbiota can regulate brain function through the gut-brain axis, and dysbiosis of intestinal microbiota was related to anxiety. However, there is no specific evidence to support treatment of anxiety by regulating intestinal microbiota. Aims To find evidence sup porting improvement of anxiety symptoms by regulation of intestinal microbiota. Methods This systematic review of randomised controlled trials was searched based on the following databases: PubMed, EMBASE, the Cochrane Library, OVID, Web of Knowledge, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Wanfang Data, VIP databases and SinoMed. The retrieval time dated back to 25 July 2018. Then we screened research literatures based on established inclusion and exclusion criteria. Quality evaluation for each included study was done using the Cochrane risk of bias and the Jadad scale. Results A total of 3334 articles were retrieved and 21 studies were included which contained 1503 subjects. In the 21 studies, 15 chose probiotics as interventions to regulate intestinal microbiota and six chose non-probiotic ways such as adjusting daily diets. Probiotic supplements in seven studies contained only one kind of probiotic, two studies used a product that contained two kinds of probiotics and the supplements used in the other five studies included at least three kinds of probiotics. In the studies that used treatment as usual plus interventions regulating intestinal flora (IRIF) as interventions (five studies), only non-probiotic ways were effective (two studies), which means 40% of studies were effective;in the studies that used IRIF alone (16 studies, 11 studies used probiotic ways and 5 studies used non-probiotic ways), 56% of studies could improve anxiety symptoms, and 80% of studies that conducted the non-probiotic interventions were effective, while 45% of studies that used probiotic supplementations had positive effects on anxiety symptoms. Overall, 11 studies showed a positive effect on anxiety symptoms by regulating intestinal microbiota, which indicated 52% of the 21 studies were effective, and there were five studies that used probiotic supplements as interventions and six used non-probiotic interventions. In addition, it should be noted that six of seven studies showed that regulation of intestinal microbiota could treat anxiety symptoms, the rate of efficacy was 86%.Conclusions We find that more than half of the studies included showed it was positive to treat anxiety symptoms by regulation of intestinal microbiota. There are two kinds of interventions (probiotic and non-probiotic interventions) to regulate intestinal microbiota, and it should be highlighted that the non-probiotic interventions were more effective than the probiotic interventions. | 19 | Impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on consumers’ food safety knowledge and behavior in China显示文摘This study assesses the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on Chinese residents’food safety knowledge and behavior,and explores the possible influence mechanism,namely,focus on media information.The study is based on internet survey data of 1373 residents in China.A series of econometric models are developed to estimate food safety knowledge and behavior of residents.Both the descriptive and econometric results indicate that the existence of COVID-19 cases in a community has a significantly positive effect on residents’food safety knowledge and behavior.Residents focusing on food safety-related information tend to have higher food safety knowledge and practice food safety behavior.When controlling the variable focused on food safety-related information,the marginal effects of the existence of COVID-19 cases in a community on residents’food safety knowledge and behavior significantly decrease.However,the decrease in consumers’food safety knowledge is quite minor.Hence,the COVID-19 pandemic indeed improves Chinese residents’food safety knowledge and behavior,while focus on food safety-related information is an important mechanism for improving food safety behavior.Moreover,the estimation results of the simultaneous equations model reveal that consumers’food safety knowledge has a significant and positive effect on their food safety behavior.Heterogeneous impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on residents’food safety knowledge and behavior among different regions and income groups are observed.The findings of this study provide evidence that public health events could enhance residents’safety awareness and behavior,while residents’focus on relevant information plays an important role in improving knowledge and impacting behavior. | MIN Shi XIANG Cheng ZHANG Xiao-heng | 2020 | Journal of Integrative Agriculture2020,19,12: | 8 |
