1Evaluation of D113 cation exchange resin for the removal of Eu(Ⅲ) from aqueous solution显示文摘Batch adsorption experiments were conducted for the adsorption of Eu(Ⅲ) ions from aqueous solution by D113 resin. The results indicated that D113 resin could adsorb Eu(Ⅲ) ion effectively from aqueous solution. The adsorption was strongly dependent on pH of the medium with enhanced adsorption as the pH turned from 3.50 to 7.00 and the optimal adsorption condition was in HAc-NaAc medium with pH value of 6.50. The maximum uptake capacity of Eu(Ⅲ) ions was 290.9 mg/g D113 at 298 K, at an initial pH value of 6.50. The overall adsorption process was best described by Lagergren-first-order kinetics. When Freundlich and Langmuir isotherms were tested, the latter had a better fit with the experimental data. The thermodynamic parameters such as free energy (G) which were all negative, indicated that the adsorption of Eu(Ⅲ) ions onto D113 resin was spontaneous and the positive value of enthalpy (H) showed that the adsorption was endothermic in nature. Thomas model was applied to experimental column data to determine the characteristic parameters of column useful for process design. 2SDS-modified Nanoporous Silver as an Efficient Electrocatalyst for Selectively Converting CO2 to CO in Aqueous Solution显示文摘Selectively electrochemical conversion of CO2 into organic fuel using renewable electricity is one of the most sought-after processes.In this paper,we report the electrochemical reduction of CO2(CO2RR)on the nanoporous Ag electrodes made of compacted Ag nanoparticles(AgNPs),which were prepared by one-step reduction in the water phase with or without the surfactant sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS).The scanning electron microscope(SEM)characterizations show that the compacted Ag electrodes have the nanoporous morphology formed by stacking AgNPs.Compared with the nanoporous Ag electrode without SDS modification(C-AgNPs),the SDS-modified AgNPs electrode(C-AgNPs-SDS)is highly effective in improving selective CO production in a wide range of potentials(-0.69 V--1.19 V,vs.RHE),with a Faradaic efficiency of 92.2% and a current density of -8.23 mA·cm^-2 for CO production at -0.79 V(vs.RHE).C-AgNPs-SDS is also catalytically stable with only less than 7% deactivation after 8 h of continuous electrolysis.Lei Shi Yuning Zhang Xiaofei Han Dongfang Niu Jinlong Sun Jenny Y.Yang Shuozhen Hu Xinsheng Zhang 2019Chinese Journal of Chemistry2019,37,4:5

5Phosphine functionalised multiwalled carbon nanotubes:A new adsorbent for the removal of nickel from aqueous solution显示文摘Synthesised triphenylphosphine-linked multiwalled carbon nanotubes (Tpp-MWCNTs) were used to study the adsorption of nickel in aqueous solutions and their adsorption capabilities were compared with purified MWCNTs.The adsorption capacity increased with an increase in pH for all adsorbents.The adsorption equilibrium was reached in 40 and 30 min for purified MWCNTs and Tpp-MWCNTs,respectively.Both Freundlich and Langmuir isotherms used to investigate the adsorption process fitted the experimental data well with the correlation coefficient R 2 close to 1 for all adsorbents.On the other hand,the experimental data fitted well with a pseudo secondorder model.The speciation of nickel also influenced the adsorption on the purified and Tpp-MWCNTs.The adsorbents used in this study showed superior adsorption capacity when compared to other adsorbents reported in the literature.Muleja Anga Adolph Yangkou Mbianda Xavier Pillay Kriveshini Krause Rui 2012Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,6:2
6Biologically inspired silk fibroin grafted polyacrylonitrile filtration membrane prepared in ZnCl_2 aqueous solution显示文摘In this study, biologically inspired silk fibroin grafted polyacrylonitrile(SF-g-PAN) filtration membrane was prepared using ZnCl_2 aqueous solution as solvent, avoiding the use of organic solvents. Phase inversion occurred when Zn^(2+)and Cl-ions gradually diffused into water, creating a well-connected ion channel network and the SF-g-PAN filtration membrane was obtained. The membranes were observed by SEM and 3D ultra-depth microscope. The hydrophilic property, pore size distribution and dye rejection of the membrane were investigated. Results showed that the membrane has no finger hole formation because ZnCl_2 aqueous solution has a lower curing rate parameter compared with organic solvents. SF-gPAN membrane possessed good anti-fouling properties and pH sensitivity. The pore size distribution of the SF-g-PAN membrane was 0.25–1.04 nm. The rejection of direct yellow 27(Mw = 662.6) and amaranth(Mw = 604.5) was 96.51% and 30.63%, with the flux of 72.32 L m^(-2) h^(-1) and 73.83 L m^(-2) h^(-1) respectively at0.1 MPa. 7One-pot degradation of cellulose into carbon dots and organic acids in its homogeneous aqueous solution显示文摘As the abundant biopolymer, cellulose can be used as a feedstock for chemicals and materials. Effective conversion of cellulose by simple processes is a key point. Degradation of cellulose in its homogeneous solution is attractive for the molecular chains are free and spread. Here,microcrystalline cellulose was first dissolved in aqueous solution of Na OH and urea, and then hydrothermal reaction was carried out at various temperature and time. Fluorescence carbon dots(CDs) were generated accompanied with six organic acids: oxalic acid, formic acid, malonic acid, lactic acid, acetic acid, and fumaric acid. The yields of all organic acids and CDs, and the fluorescence quantum yield(QY) of CDs were studied at different reaction conditions. It was found that the maximum yield of organic acids and CDs are 80.1% and 6.03%, respectively, and the highest QY of the CDs is 10.9%. Fluorescence studies reveal that the as-prepared CDs has efficient selectivity and sensitivity toward iron ions in acidic condition, indicating it is a potential fluorescent sensor to the detection of Fe3+. 8耐盐活性剂水溶液微观状态与耐盐性能的关系显示文摘实验发现改性α-烯基聚醚磺酸铵不仅能使油分散在高矿化度水中,而且其耐盐性能与耐盐活性剂水溶液的微观状态存在一定的相依性:能使高矿化度水的结晶和缔合态的立体结构转变为片状结构;并能脱出由于高矿化度水中高盐份而生成的结晶水和缔合水.实验在各种矿化度条件下进行,加入改性的α-烯基聚醚磺酸铵,能使矿化度高达1.5×105 mg·L-1的水溶液的表面张力从80 mN·m -1左右降到35 mN·m -1左右,并且能使粘度为1.0×105 mPa·s左右的稠油乳化降粘,使粘度降到30 mPa·s左右(约30 ℃),还能使脱水后的原油本体粘度降低一半以上.耐盐活性剂的活性并不受高浓度盐类影响,特别是Ca2+、Mg2+高达1.0×104 mg·L-1以上时,其表面活性剂水溶液也是无色透明的,这与普通表面活性剂表现出来的盐析作用和普通活性剂在Ca2+、Mg2+离子存在时易于沉淀有所不同.就以上实验所得结果研究其耐盐体系的微观状态、耐盐机理及耐盐性能.辛寅昌 卞介萍 马磊 2009山东师范大学学报(自然科学版)2009,24,4:2
9Utilizing the Alterable Solubility of Chitosan in Aqueous Solution to Synthesize Nanosized Sulfur for High Performance Li-S Batteries显示文摘Summary of main observation and conclusion We demonstrate the synthesis of cathode material with nanosized sulfur by a precipitation method making use of the alterable solubility of chitosan (CTS) in aqueous solution.Mesoporous Ketjen Black (KB) and carbon nanotube (CNT) are added as conductive agents to provide the three-dimensional electric channels.This method can reduce the size of the sulfur particles,thus the nanosized sulfur obtained can fully contact with the conductive agent,which could increase the utilization of sulfur and improve the capacity of Li-S batteries.Moreover,CTS with abundant hydroxyl and amine groups has strong interaction with polysulfides,which can improve the stability of Li-S batteries.As a result,the obtained CTS/C-S cathode containing 76 wt% sulfur delivers an impressively initial discharge specific capacity of 1141.6 mA.h.g^-1 at 0.5 C and maintains a capacity of 842.3 mA·h·g-1 after 300 cycles.Our finding paves a way for the rational design of high-performance sulfur cathodes for advanced Li-S batteries.Yu Zhang Wen-Cui Li Bin He Xiao-Fei Yu Lu Hou An-Hui Lu 2019Chinese Journal of Chemistry2019,37,8:1
10Synthesis and fluorescence properties of CdSe/CdS nanoparticles in aqueous media显示文摘On the basis of unique structural characteristics of α-cyclodextrin,α-cyclodextrin modified CdSe/CdS nanoparticles have been successfully synthesized in aqueous media.Techniques of AFM,TEM,EDS,FTIR,UV-vis absorbance and photoluminescence spectra were used to characterize the morphology,composition and optical characteristics of the synthesized nanoparticles.The results showed that the as-synthesized nanoparticles were elliptical and composed of several small particles.Their average length and diameter were about 20 nm and 15 nm.CdSe/CdS nanoparticles had single well-crystallized hexagonal structure.Packaged with a shell of CdS on the surface,α-CD/CdSe-CdS nanoparticles exhibited a red shift in the absorption spectrum,intensity growth in the emission spectrum and a substantial increase in Quantum yields.The size distribution could be adjusted by precursor ratios in the presence of α-cyclodextrins.Han, DongMei Song, ChunFeng Guo, GuangSheng Li, XiaoYu 2010Science China Chemistry2010,53,5:1
11Vibrational dynamics of the CN stretching mode of [Ru(CN)_6]^(4-) in D_2O studied by nonlinear infrared spectroscopy显示文摘We have studied vibrational dynamics of the T1u mode of the CN stretching mode of [Ru(CN)6 ]4- in D2O by infrared(IR) nonlinear spectroscopy such as an IR three-pulse photon echo experiment and polarization-sensitive IR pump-probe spectroscopy. The isotropic component of the pump-probe signal shows a bi-exponential decay with time constants of 0.8 ps and 20.8 ps. The fast and slow components correspond to the rapid equilibration between the T1u mode and the Raman active modes of the CN stretching mode and the vibrational population relaxation from the v=1 state of the T1u mode,respectively. Anisotropy of the pump-probe signal decays with a time constant of 3.1 ps,which is due to the time evolution of the superposition states of the triply degenerate T1u modes. Three pulse photon echo measurements showed that the time correlation function of the frequency fluctuation decays bi-exponentially with time constants of 80 fs and 1.4 ps. 12Research on various factors influencing the moisture absorption property of sodium polyacrylate显示文摘Sodium polyacrylate was synthesized with acrylic acid as the monomer, and sodium bisulfate and ammonium persulfate as the initiator, by means of aqueous solution polymerization. The factors influencing the properties of moisture absorption, such as monomer concentration, dosage of initiator, and reaction temperature were systematically investigated. The experimental results indicate that the moisture-absorbing property of this polymer was better than other traditional material, such as silica gel, and molecular sieve. The best reaction condition and formula are based on the orthogonal experiment design. The optimum moisture absorbency of sodium polyacrylate reaches 1.01 g/g. The mathematical correlation of this polymer with various factors and moisture absorbency is obtained based on the multiple regression analysis. 13Experiments and insights of desalination by a freezing/thawing method at low subcooling显示文摘Desalination by freezing/thawing method was a very important method to obtain fresh water from seawater.In this work,desalination by freezing/thawing method was conducted with initial sodium chloride of 3.5 wt% in consideration of stirring speed,freezing time and subcooling.The subcooling ranged from 1.2 K to 4 K.The optimum conditions for desalination in this work were stirring speed of 200 r·min^−1,freezing time of 120 min,and subcooling of 3 K.The results also showed that sodiumchloride cannot be effectively removed by once freezing/thawing process.The maximumremoval efficiency of sodiumchloride was 64.3%.Two major reasons resulting in the impurity of obtained melted water by freezing/thawing method were proposed.The first reason was the inevitable adhesion of salt solution to the surface of ice,which could be removed easily by distilled water flushing.The second reason was that salt solution was heterogeneously wrapped in the accumulated ice,which was difficult to be removed by distilled water flushing.The liquid flushing method was proposed to verify the conjecture,and the results were in accordance with the two reasons mentioned above.Additional method,such as multiple flushing liquid method,was suggested to be used during the freezing/thawing process for effectively removing sodium chloride,and obtaining fresh water.Jun Chen Jianjian Wu Jiafeng Xu Qing Yuan Bin Deng Changzhong Chen Zhi Li 2020Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020,28,12:1
14Pulsation Treatment on the Modification of Crystal with Cold Simulation显示文摘Since the separation of crystal of KCl saturated aqueous is similar to the crystallization of liquid metals, the melts nucleation can be simulated by the experiment of the crystal of salt aqueous solution. In this experiment pulsation treatment was imposed on KCl saturated aqueous in order to study the effect of pulsation treatment on crystallization in the salt solution, and the influence of different pulsation treating time, super-heating and bine of prescription were investigated. The results show that it is possible to modify the crystallization over satured solution temperature and the degree of under-cooling for salt crystal separation was reduced by applying pulse treating on KCl saturated aqueous solution. 15VISCOSITY BEHAVIOR OF LACQUER POLYSACCHARIDE IN AQUEOUS SOLUTION显示文摘The dependence of measured viscosity on NaCl concentration (0.1 to 3.0M), pH (range of 2—13) and cadoxen composition wcad (from 2% to 100%) for the lacquer polysaccharide in NaCl/cadoxen/H2O mixture containing HCl or without were obtained. All the viscosity exponents γin the Mark-Houwink equations under three different solvent condition arc close to 0.5. The wcad dependence of reduced viscosity ηsp/c confirms the single strand chain of the polysaccharide. 16Different Behaviors of ACE Inhibitor Tripeptide Ile-Ile-Pro in Aqueous and DMSO Solutions by All-Atom MD Simulations and 2D-NOESY Spectra显示文摘All-atom molecular dynamic simulations and 2D-NOESY spectra were used to study the conformations and hydrogen bonds of ACE inhibitory tripeptide Ile-Ile-Pro(IIP) in aqueous and DMSO solutions. RMSD, Dis, Rg and SASA were adopted to characterize the properties of tripeptide Ile-Ile-Pro in the MD simulations. Interestingly, the tripeptide molecule IIP exhibited different behaviors in aqueous and DMSO solutions. In aqueous solution, IIP was very flexible. The conformation could shift between extended and folded states very quickly. However,in DMSO solution, more folded conformations were observed. 19Determination of vanadyl sulfate ion-pair dissociation constant at 298.15 K by Fuoss method显示文摘Vanadium battery has fast and large capacity charge and discharge characteristics,and the concentration and stability of the battery electrolyte are the key to the electrolyte performance.In actual,with higher acidity and higher concentration of the vanadium battery electrolyte,the ion-pair is dominant.The ion-pair dissociation constant is one of the important thermodynamic data related to battery performance.The vanadyl sulfate conductivity in aqueous solution was determined using the conductance method at 298.15 K.Using the origin data fitting,the limiting molar conductance is obtained,and then by the improved Ostwald dilution law and the Davies equation,the activity coefficient is solved so as to obtain the ionic strength of the true solution.Using the Fuoss method,the dissociation constant of vanadyl sulfate ion-pair was calculated.At last,the vanadyl sulfate limiting molar conductance(A_0) is 174.8251748 S·dm^2·mol^(-1),and the vanadyl sulfate ion-pair dissociation constant K_d is0.002636367,and then other thermodynamic properties can be studied.Shu-Di Zhang Pei-Hua Ma Yu-Chun Zhai Wei-Min Chen 2015Rare Metals2015,34,12:0
