| 1 | Belief-Propagation-Approximated Decoding of Low-Density Parity-Check Codes显示文摘In this paper, we propose a new reduced-complexity decoding algorithm of Low-Density Parity-Check (LDPC) codes, called Belief-Propagation-Approximated (BPA) algorithm, which utilizes the idea of normalization and translates approximately the intricate nonlinear operation in the check nodes of the original BP algorithm to only one operation of looking up the table. The normalization factors can be obtained by simulation, or theoretically. | 3 | Performance of iteratively decoded bit-interleaved coded modulation with chaos based interleaving strategies显示文摘Bit-interleaved coded modulation with iterative decoding (BICM-ID) is a bandwidth efficient trans- mission scheme which is well suitable for next-generation mobile communications. The interleaver design is critical to the high performance of BICM-ID. In this paper we investigate the application of the chaos theory to the interleaver design to further improve the performance of BICM-ID. A new interleaving scheme based on the chaos theory is proposed. Compared with the random interleaver, the proposed approach has the ad- vantages including lower system delay and higher transmission efficiency. | 5 | A Study of the Simulation Platform of WCDMA显示文摘In this paper, we present a new simulation platform of 3G (the third-generation mobile communication). Combined with the concept of Software Defined Radio (SDR) and complied with the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) proposal, first, we build up a general structure platform of the downlink physical layer based on 3G WCDMA (FDD) in COSSAP software package, then study such key technology of 3G as turbo encoders and decoders, RAKE receivers. The simulation result is similar to relevant documents.
