1造山带沉积盆地与大陆动力学显示文摘造山带原型盆地恢复是地质学研究的重要内容,是板块构造研究的难点与前沿,对于理解造山带演化及其大陆动力学具有重要意义。本文从原型盆地恢复的方法出发,评述了前人根据碎屑组成、元素地球化学和碎屑单矿物年代学来进行原型盆地恢复的原理、方法和效果。基于喜马拉雅造山带沉积盆地的实践,提出造山带原型盆地恢复的五个要素:盆地顶底界面、古地理环境、物源分析、构造分析和盆地外围研究。详细介绍了新特提斯洋俯冲、印度-亚洲大陆碰撞以及后碰撞阶段的沉积盆地的地质特征,包括印度北缘被动大陆边缘盆地、日喀则弧前盆地、雅鲁藏布海沟盆地、林周弧后-弧背叠合盆地、桑单林同碰撞盆地,以及后碰撞阶段的冈仁波齐盆地、柳区盆地和札达-吉隆裂谷盆地。基于沉积盆地研究反演了喜马拉雅大洋俯冲-大陆碰撞的演化过程,探讨了沉积盆地与大陆动力学之间的耦合关系。胡修棉 薛伟伟 赖文 王建刚 安慰 李娟 2021地质学报2021,95,1:13
2Recognition of trench basins in collisional orogens:Insights from the Yarlung Zangbo suture zone in southern Tibet显示文摘Trench basin,as an important sedimentary repository in oceanic subduction zones,documents faithfully the evolution of paleodrainage and paleogeographic information.Because of the frequent intense deformation during and after deposition,the recognition of trench-basin strata in orogenic belts is quite challenging.Several trench-fill deposits have been identified from the Yarlung Zangbo suture in southern Tibet,which can be classified into two types based on major differences in formation timing and tectonic setting.The first type developed during subduction of the Neotethyan oceanic slab in the Cretaceous(e.g.,the Jiachala,Rongmawa,and Luogangcuo formations),and the second type developed during the initial stage of the India-Asia collision in the Palaeogene(e.g.,the Sangdanlin-Zheya formations).The former was originally deposited on the subducting oceanic crust and then accreted as tectonic slices into the subduction complex;the latter was deposited unconformably on the continental margin of the subducting Indian plate and then involved in the subduction complex during the continental collision.Typical lithologies of trench-basin fills include abyssal chert,siliceous shale,silty to sandy turbidites,debris flows deposits,and slump deposits without carbonate.Detritus feeding these basins were chiefly from the uplifted terrane in the upper plate.This paper summarizes the geological features of trench basins developed in southern Tibet and proposes criteria for recognizing trench-basins in collisional orogens.Xiumian Hu Wei An Eduardo Garzanti Qun Liu 2020Science China Earth Sciences2020,63,12:2
3From arc-continent collision to ocean closure: Lower Cretaceous Shamuluo Formation in the western segment of the Bangong-Nujiang suture zone, central Tibet显示文摘One of most hotly debated topics concerning the Late Mesozoic evolution of Tethyan and the Tibetan Plateau is the timing of the closure of the Meso-Tethys ocean,which is represented by the Bangong-Nujiang suture zone.The Upper Jurassic-Lower Cretaceous Shamuluo Formation,which unconformably overlies the older Mugagangri Group accretionary complex,provides important information on the closure of the Meso-Tethys Ocean.This paper precisely confines the depositional age of the Shamuluo Formation in the western segment of the Bangong-Nujiang suture zone,extending it from the Late Jurassic to the Albian.Combined with the results of previous studies,we suggest that the Shamuluo Formation in the Awengco-Baerqiong region mainly contains a bathyal Berriasian-Hauterivian subunit and a shallow-marine Albian subunit.Provenance analysis indicates that the Berriasian-Hauterivian subunit was mainly derived from the Jurassic southern Qiangtang magmatic arc,while the Albian subunit was derived from the coeval volcanic rocks and the Upper Carboniferous-Upper Permian strata in the southern Qiangtang terrane.Thus,the two subunits of the Shamuluo Formation have significant distinct sedimentary facies and provenances,indicating that they were deposited in different tectonic settings.Based on the regional geological data,we suggest that the bathyal Berriasian-Hauterivian subunit and the shallow-marine Albian subunit of the Shamuluo Formation should be interpreted as a record of the oceanic arc-continent collision and the Lhasa-Qiangtang soft-collision,respectively.Thus,the closure time of the Meso-Tethys Ocean is at least limited to the Albian.An-Bo Luo Jian-Jun Fan Bo-Chuan Zhang Jian-Zhen Zhang Hang Li Meng-Long Duan 2021Geoscience Frontiers2021,12,5:0
