1Bivalent Metal Ions Tethered Fluorescent Gold Nanoparticles as a Reusable Peroxidase Mimic Nanozyme显示文摘Nanozymes are a class of mimic enzymes that have both unique properties of nanomaterials and catalytic functions.They are widely used in medicine,food,agriculture,and environment due to their high catalytic efficiency,stability,economy,and large-scale preparation.In this work,a simple,gentle method was applied to synthesize adenosine phosphates(AXP)templated gold nanoparticles(Au NPs)with small size,good optical properties,and peroxidase-like activities.In the presence of hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2)),the peroxidase substrate 3,3′,5,5′-tetramethylbenzidine(TMB)could be oxidized to form blue-colored oxidized TMB(oxTMB),which demonstrates that the AuAXP NPs have peroxidase-like activities.Inter-estingly,the introduction of bivalent metal ions into AuAXP NPs allows their reusability.Among them,after three rounds of recycling,the catalytic activity of Mg@AuAMP could still reach 92.69%compared to the original level,which showed excellent reusability.In addition,the glutathione(GSH)detection was realized with a linear detection range of 0-200μM due to the GSH-induced loss of peroxidase-like activities.Overall,this work provides a new idea of recycling for biosensor and catalytic analysis.Liu Liu Hui Jiang Xuemei Wang 2019Journal of Analysis and Testing2019,3,3:4
2Sub-nanosized vanadate hybrid clusters maintain glucose homeostasis and restore treatment response in inflammatory disease in obese mice显示文摘Obesity is closely related with insulin resistance and chronic inflammation.Here,we report that unsaturated lipid-modified polyoxovanadates(ULPOVs)can restrict weight gain of diet-induced obese mice and improve their glycemic control and obesity-associated inflammation.Oral administration of the sub-nanosized ULPOVs at a low dosage for 7 weeks reduces the body weight and almost normalizes the blood glucose levels of obese mice fed on a high-fat diet.ULPOV treatment increases the activity of the nuclear receptor peroxisome proliferator-activated receptorγ(PPARγ)and reduces intestinal caloric intake,which may be the main reason for blood sugar and body weight control.In addition to insulin-sensitizing,PPARγactivation induced by ULPOV treatment in obese mice with atopic dermatitis(AD)promotes the type 2 T helper(TH_(2))cell selective responses and therapeutic effects on immune dysregulation caused by obesity.These data suggest sub-nanosized polyoxovanadate clusters as a class of potential candidates to relieve symptoms accompanied by diet-induced obesity.Kun Chen Shengqiu Liu Yujun Wei 2024Nano Research2024,17,3:0
