1Mechanical properties and flame retardancy of surface modified magnesium oxysulfate(5Mg(OH)_(2)·MgSO_(4)·3H_(2)O)whisker for polypropylene composites显示文摘Magnesium oxysulfate(MOS)whisker is considered as a promising inorganic material recently attracting a great attention for being used as a reinforcing filler for polymer composites due to high aspect ratio and extremely-low bulk density.In this study,the MOS was treated with 3-methacryloyloxypropyl-trimethoxy silane(MPS)via sol-gel condensation reactions,which successfully allowed melt mixing with polypropylene(PP)up to 30 wt%of MOS.The tensile strength at yield and modulus of the MOS/PP composites were substantially increased by 50.8%and 362%,respectively,when compared with the pristine PP.As a novel finding,the flame retardancy of MOS was proved by identifying water evolution at elevated temperatures giving out 9 wt%of water in 250-320℃and 14 wt%in 350-420℃in two steps.This work demonstrated that the MOS could be an excellent filler for PP not only increasing the mechanical properties in a great extent but also imposing flame retarding capability.Eui-Su Kim Ye Chan Kim Jungwoo Park Youngjun Kim Sung-Hoon Kim Kwang Jin Kim Jonghwan Suhr Youngkwan Lee Seong Hoon Lee Dae-Sik Kim Soo-Hyun Kim Ju-Ho Yun In-Kyung Park Jae-Do Nam 2018Journal of Materiomics2018,4,2:9
2Thermally Conductive and Insulating Epoxy Composites by Synchronously Incorporating Si-sol Functionalized Glass Fibers and Boron Nitride Fillers显示文摘Glass fibers(GFs)/epoxy laminated composites always present weak interlaminar shear strength(ILSS)and low cross-plane thermal conductivity coefficient(λ⊥).In this work,silica-sol,synthesized from tetraethyl orthosilicate(TEOS)and KH-560 via sol-gel method,was employed to functionalize the surface of GFs(Si-GFs).Together with a spherical boron nitride(BNN-30),the thermally conductive BNN-30/Si-GFs/epoxy laminated composites were then fabricated.Results demonstrate that Si-sol is beneficial to the improvement of mechanical properties for epoxy laminated composites(especially for ILSS).The BNN-30/Si-GFs/epoxy laminated composites with 15 wt%BNN-30 fillers display the optimal comprehensive properties.In-planeλ(λ//)andλ⊥reach the maximum of 2.37 and 1.07 W.m-1.K-1,146.9%and 132.6%higher than those of SiGFs/epoxy laminated composites(λ//=0.96 W.m-1.K-1 andλ⊥=0.46 W.m-1K-1),respectively,and also about 10.8 and 4.9 times those of pure epoxy resin(λ//=λ⊥,0.22 W.m-1.K-1).And the heat-resistance index(THRI),dielectric constant(ε),dielectric loss(tanδ),breakdown strength(E0),surface resistivity(ρs)as well as volume resistivity(ρv)are 197.3℃,4.95,0.0046,22.3 kV.mm-1,1.8×1014Ω,and 2.1×1014Ω.cm,respectively.Rui-Han Zhang Xue-Tao Shi Lin Tang Zheng Liu Jun-Liang Zhang Yong-Qiang Guo Jun-Wei Gu 2020Chinese Journal of Polymer Science2020,38,7:7
3动态紫外光界面聚合技术制备玻纤/PVDF中空纤维复合膜显示文摘通过动态紫外光接枝界面聚合技术和湿法共挤出纺丝工艺制备了玻纤增强PVDF中空纤维复合膜,并将其与商业化的PVDF内支撑膜进行了对比分析.当单体质量分数为1%和2%时,玻纤与PVDF基材之间的剥离强度相比于未经接枝的原PVDF复合膜分别提高了37.27%和168.51%;当单体质量分数为2%时,玻纤与PVDF膜材之间的结合强度达到了186.85 N/m,比商业PVDF膜(146.23 N/m)高出27.78%.在处理量为100 L/d稳定运行的A^2/O-MBR中为期30 d的对比实验发现,动态接枝膜具有良好的运行稳定性和抗污染性能,其运行通量性能与商业膜基本相同.罗南 钟慧 宫辉力 2019膜科学与技术2019,39,2:0
