1Dropout Rademacher complexity of deep neural networks显示文摘Great successes of deep neural networks have been witnessed in various real applications. Many algorithmic and implementation techniques have been developed; however, theoretical understanding of many aspects of deep neural networks is far from clear. A particular interesting issue is the usefulness of dropout,which was motivated from the intuition of preventing complex co-adaptation of feature detectors. In this paper,we study the Rademacher complexity of different types of dropouts, and our theoretical results disclose that for shallow neural networks(with one or none hidden layer) dropout is able to reduce the Rademacher complexity in polynomial, whereas for deep neural networks it can amazingly lead to an exponential reduction.Wei GAO Zhi-Hua ZHOU 2016Science China(Information Sciences)2016,59,7:8
2Adaptive Control of MIMO Mechanical Systems with Unknown Actuator Nonlinearities Based on the Nussbaum Gain Approach显示文摘This paper investigates MIMO mechanical systems with unknown actuator nonlinearities. A novel Nussbaum analysis tool for MIMO systems is established such that unknown time-varying control coefficients are tackled. In contrast to existing literatures on continuous-time systems, the newly-developed Nussbaum tool focuses on extending the traditional Nussbaum result from one dimensional case to the multiple one. Specifically,not only the multiple unknown input coefficients are extended to the time-varying, but also the limitation of the prior knowledge of coefficients' upper and lower bounds is removed. Furthermore,an adaptive robust controller associated with the proposed tool is presented. The asymptotic tracking of MIMO mechanical systems is guaranteed with the help of the Lyapunov Theorem. 3基于频域的光电稳定平台扰动观测器设计显示文摘为了解决传统扰动观测器(disturbance observer,DOB)无法保证标称系统和非最小相位系统内部稳定性的问题,提出了在频域中设计扰动观测器的新方法,通过对补偿器的设计,避免传统DOB传递函数分母为0的情况,从而保证系统稳定性。结合光电稳定平台进行视轴稳定试验,试验结果表明:在幅度为3°、1 Hz的扰动作用下,结合本研究扰动观测器所设计的控制系统,不但可以保证标称系统和非最小相位系统的内部稳定性,并且具有更宽的带宽和更为快速的频率响应,可以更加有效地隔离扰动,相比传统DOB控制系统的输出,扰动残差减少75%,为光电稳定平台控制系统设计提供参考。魏伟 戴明 李嘉全 毛大鹏 李贤涛 2015山东大学学报(工学版)2015,45,4:2
