1Sulfonated carbon catalyzed oxidation of aldehydes to carboxylic acids by hydrogen peroxide显示文摘Sulfonated carbon as a strong and stable solid acid catalyst exhibited excellent catalytic performance in various acid-catalyzed reactions. Here, sulfonated carbon, as catalyst for oxidation reaction, was prepared via the carbonization of starch followed by sulfonation with concentrated sulfuric acid. N2 physisorption, X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray fluorescence and acid-base titration were used to characterize the obtained materials. The catalytic activity of sulfonated carbon was studied in the oxidation of aldehydes to carboxylic acids using 30 wt% H2O2 as oxidant. This oxidation protocol works well for various aldehydes including aromatic and aliphatic aldehydes. 2SnCl_2/nano SiO_2: A green and reusable heterogeneous catalyst for the synthesis of polyfunctionalized 4H-pyrans显示文摘A highly effcient and general method for the synthesis of polyfunctionalized 4H-pyrans is established through a one-pot multicomponent cyclocondensation of aromatic aldehydes with CH acids,malononitrile and ethyl acetoacetate using nano silica supported tin(II) chloride as a catalyst. In this method SnCl2/nano SiO2was used as green and reusable catalyst. 4N-Sulfonic acid poly(4-vinylpyridinium) chloride as a highly efficient and reusable catalyst for the Biginelli reaction显示文摘A mild, simple and efficient procedure for the preparation of 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-ones and-thiones is described using N-sulfonic acid poly(4-vinylpyridinium) chloride(NSPVPC) as a heterogeneous and efficient catalyst under solvent-free conditions. Simple methodologies, easy work-up procedure, easy preparation of the catalyst, excellent yields and very short reaction times are among the other advantages of this work.
