1单根减冲桩对墩柱局部冲刷影响的数值模拟显示文摘为了减缓墩柱周围局部冲刷,通常采用在墩柱上游布置单根减冲桩的防护方法。该文通过RNG k-ε湍流模型闭合的三维稳定雷诺时均Navier-Stokes方程与泥沙输运模型相结合,对恒定流条件下墩柱上游流场及局部冲刷进行了数值模拟,分析减冲桩直径比、布置距离和淹没率对墩柱冲刷防护的影响。研究结果表明:随着减冲桩直径比的增大,墩前掩护区域变大,下潜水流削弱,减缓墩柱局部冲刷;随着减冲桩淹没率的减小,减冲桩对水流阻挡作用减小,下潜水流增强,防护效果逐渐减弱,甚至当淹没率为0.6时,墩柱局部冲刷程度相比无防护时更严重;减冲桩布置距离过近或过远时,防护效果均不明显,当大直径高淹没率减冲桩布置在墩柱上游1.5倍墩径位置时,墩柱周围最大冲刷深度相比无防护时削弱了19.3%。姜松 张智 程永舟 葛彦斌 龚维亮 2019水动力学研究与进展(A辑)2019,34,1:5

4Reduction of local scour at river confluences using a collar显示文摘River confluences(RCs) are important features within river systems where the three dimensional(3 D)flow structures and the downstream mixing of flows can cause deep scour holes. Despite this, few methods have been proposed to control scouring at RCs. In this study, application of a collar was experimentally examined for local scour control at the point where two rivers flow together. In particular, experimental tests were done with and without collar application at three different locations. The results reveal that the scour depth is directly proportional to the discharge ratio, i.e. the ratio of lateral discharge to that in the channel downstream of the confluence, and the densimetric Froude number(Frg).In addition, installation of a collar at RCs can decrease the scour depth up to 100%, thus completely avoiding the scour process. The results also show that by increasing the Frg the optimal installation location for a collar changes and moves towards the river bed level. Using a collar can also reduce the height of the point bar formed downstream of the confluence. The outcomes of the study allow derivation of an equation for predicting scour depth when a collar is applied as a countermeasure. 6Effects of hooked-collar on the local scour around a lenticular bridge pier显示文摘This paper presents the results of comprehensive laboratory experiments to investigate the effects of hooked-collar on the scour development around a vertical pier with a lenticular cross section.The flow around the pier was uniform,steady,and under the clear-water condition.The axial scour profiles for cases without and with a lenticular hooked-collar were measured and the effects of hooked-collar dimensions and elevation from the bed were examined.To compute the efficiency of hooked-collar for scour prevention,the results of local scour for a bridge pier without a collar and a bridge pier with a plain collar,without a hooked wall,were used as benchmark data sets.A wide range of hooked-collar geometries such as the ratio of collar width to the pier width,W_(c)/W_(p),ranging from 1.5 to 3.5,the ratio of hooked-collar wall height to the pier width,Hc/W_(p),ranging from 0.15 to 0.6,and the ratio of collar elevation to the pier width,E_(c)/W_(p),of0.5,0,and 0.5 were tested.The experimental results indicated that the equilibrium scour depth decreased with the ratio of hooked-collar to the pier width whenW_(c) is twice the pier width,W_(p).For W_(c)/W_(p)>2,the scour depth was similar to the tests with an infinitely large pier width.In addition,the scour depth consistently reduced as the hooked-collar wall height,H_(c),to the pier width,W_(p),approached 0.3.The highest scour reduction efficiency was achieved when the hooked-collar being placed on the bed surface.Empirical models were developed for prediction of maximum scour depth near the lenticular bridge pier with a modified collar.The results showed that the volume of scour hole around a lenticular pier increased non-linearly with the maximum scour depth and it was independent of the hooked-collar geometry.Rashid Farooq Amir Hossein Azimi Muhammad Atiq Ur Rehman Tariq Afzal Ahmed 2023International Journal of Sediment Research2023,38,1:0
7Collar performance in bridge pier scour with debris accumulation显示文摘The mechanism of bridge pier scour becomes more complex in the presence of debris accumulation upstream of the pier.While using countermeasures may be effective in reducing scour,their efficacy could be undermined in such a situation.The current study investigates the effectiveness of using a collar in the presence of different types of floating debris accumulation in reducing scour around a cylindrical bridge pier with non-cohesive bed sediment.The experimental results reveal that using a collar can reduce the scour depth by up to 39%when compared to that without the collar in the absence of debris accumulation under the same flow conditions.Also,the collar's efficiency is reduced by up to 25%when debris accumulation is present.However,depending on the relative size of the accumulated debris and collar,the effectiveness of collars may be increased as a pier-scour protection device.A new parameter,which is defined as the Debris Protrusion Ratio(DPR),is used to quantify the effect of debris layout size on scour depth.Moreover,a semi-empirical equation that may be used to predict the depth of the scour hole that forms around cylindrical collar-fitted piers with floating debris accumulation is proposed.The equation's performance is evaluated using the available data in the literature.Based on the analysis,the current study shows that the accuracy of the proposed equation is satisfactory in predicting the maximum scour depth.Hossein Hamidifar Seyed Mohammad Bagher Shahabi-Haghighi Yee Meng Chiew 2022International Journal of Sediment Research2022,37,3:0
8The Effect of the Propeller Jet on Pile Groups显示文摘The objective of this study is to determine the effect of jet propeller on the damage of berthing structures combined of armoured slope with pile groups.For this purpose,scour measurements were performed for four types berthing structures,which were armoured slope with tandem arrangements of piles for two and three piles and with side by side arrangements of piles for two and three piles.The effect of gap between piles on damage was investigated.The damage level induced by propeller jet between piles was determined.The gaps were 1,2,3,and 4 times the pile diameter.Three different values of Rpm(690,820,and 950)were chosen for the tests.The diameter of circular piles is 40 mm.The slope ratio was 1/3 and the diameter of propeller was 10 cm.Kubilay Cihan 2014China Ocean Engineering2014,28,1:0
