1Nonlinear dependence of anomalous resistivity on the reconnecting electric field in the Earth's magnetotail显示文摘Based upon the observational data of the fast magnetic reconnection in the nearly collisionless magnetotail and the particle in cell (PIC)simulations on the electron acceleration in the reconnecting current sheet with guide magnetic field,we self consistently solved one dimension Vlasov equation with the magnetotail parameters and realistic mass ratio to explore the relationship between the anomalous resistivity and the induced electric field.As compared with theoretic formula for the current driven ion-acoustic and Buneman anomalous resistivity,the anomalous resistivity may result from the ion acoustic instability for small reconnecting electric field and the Buneman instability for large reconnecting electric field.The discrepancy between the theoretic results and numerical simulations may be caused by the high frequency instability that results from the deviation of electron distribution from Maxwellian one.These results are consistent with the early experimental results and favorable for the fast reconnection to take place.WU GuiPing ZHANG DaoYu 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,12:0
2Survey on the Magnetic Structure of the Neutral Sheets in Earth's Magnetotail显示文摘Based on the multipoint magnetic observations of Cluster from 2001 to 2004,the magnetic field structure in magnetotail Neutral Sheet(NS) is statistically surveyed.The results are as follows.In NS,a cubic function is selected to reveal the relation between y(GSM) and positional parameter z.The relation between y and magnetic field values indicates that the magnetic field is weak at midnight region and strengthens gradually at the duskside and dawnside.The relation between y and curvature radius is expressed by a quadratic function.And R_c of flattened CS is less than that of the normal CS.B_y determines the orientation of MFLs' configuration.The polar angle of the curvature vector is affected by the NS configuration.In addition,the correlation between the polar angle of the curvature vector and z is higher.The polar angle of the normal of the osculating plane is uncertain in the center area.The relation between the azimuthal angles of the curvature vector(the normal of the osculating plane) and y is negatively correlated.An empirical model applied to yz plane of the three-dimensional structure of the magnetic field lines in the NS are developed,and it is represented as a function of the positional parameter y.Finally,the current density is also statistically surveyed.XIAO Chao SHEN Chao CHENG Guosheng ZHANG Hua ZHANG Ting CARR C M 2016空间科学学报2016,36,6:0
3基于MESSEGER观测对水星磁尾电流片磁场分布的统计研究显示文摘本文利用信使号飞船2011—2015年期间在轨磁场数据对水星磁尾电流片的磁场结构分布特征进行了统计分析.为探究磁场结构分布随水星径向距离的变化,电流片划分为近磁尾(-1.5R_M>X>-2.0R_M)和远磁尾(-2.0R_M>X>-2.5R_M)两个区域.所得结果表明:(1)无论是近磁尾还是远磁尾,电流片中的磁场都以+B_z分量为主,磁场方向几乎与磁赤道面垂直.(2)相比近磁尾,远磁尾电流片中磁场强度、B_z分量较弱,B_y分量较强,而且-B_z信号出现概率相对较大,这表明电流片中磁活动相对容易在远磁尾中发生.(3)磁场强度以及B_z分量在晨昏方向上的分布存在晨昏不对称性——在方位角120°~190°范围内相对较弱.弱B_z数据点(B_z<5nT)也在昏侧(Y>0)发生较为频繁.(4)与B_z分布相反,磁场强B_y分量(|By|>5nT)倾向于在晨侧(Y<0)发生.统计分析还表明,磁场B_y分量与行星际磁场B_y分量并无明显的相关性.对比地球磁尾电流片,我们对水星磁尾电流片B_z分量、强B_y分量的晨昏不对称起源机制作了探讨分析.丁源 戎昭金 2018地球物理学报2018,61,2:0
