1弯曲型及顺直型河道水流三维数值模拟显示文摘采用标准k-ε模型、RNG k-ε模型、可实现k-ε模型和Reynolds应力模型共4种紊流模型,对梯形断面连续弯道三维水流运动特性进行了数值模拟。从水面线、水流流速、紊动结构及分布特性等方面,比较了4种紊流模型计算结果与实测值的差别。结果表明,Reynolds应力模型由于考虑了水流紊动黏度的各向异性效应,对弯道水流运动特性的模拟精度高于其他3种k-ε模型。进一步采用Reynolds应力模型对连续弯道对应的同长度、同断面型态的顺直河槽进行计算,用实测值验证了Reynolds应力模型也能较好地适用于顺直河槽的水流运动模拟。研究成果可用于弯曲型及顺直型河道水流的三维模拟计算中。陈翠霞 张小峰 冯向珍 雷恬恬 2018华北水利水电大学学报(自然科学版)2018,39,6:5
2氧化沟流场的三维数值模拟显示文摘利用FLUENT软件对氧化沟流场进行三维数值模拟时,采用滑移壁面模型定义转盘的转动和Reynolds应力模型模拟湍流变化,并利用充足的氧化沟流场三维实测数据进行验证。数学模型能精确的模拟出氧化沟直道段各断面的流速分布及流场的沿程变化情况,能有效地模拟出弯道流场的三维特性以及断面环流的形成和发展。模拟结果和实测数据吻合情况良好。宋怀辉 何建京 李志杰 张秀姬 2012水动力学研究与进展(A辑)2012,27,2:5
3A SEMI-IMPLICIT 3-D NUMERICAL MODEL USING SIGAM-COORDINATE FOR NON-HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE FREE-SURFACE FLOWS显示文摘A 3-D numerical formulation is proposed on the horizontal Cartesian, vertical sigma-coordinate grid for modeling non-hydrostatic pressure free-surface flows. The pressure decomposition technique and θ semi-implicit method are used, with the solution procedure being split into two steps. First, with the implicit parts of non-hydrostatic pressures excluded, the provisional velocity field and free surface are obtained by solving a 2-D Poisson equation. Second, the theory of the differential operator is employed to derive the 3-D Poisson equation for non-hydrostatic pressures, which is solved to obtain the non-hydrostatic pressures and to update the provisional velocity field. When the non-orthogonal sigma-coordinate transformation is introduced, additional terms come into being, resulting in a 15-diagonal, diagonally dominant but unsymmetric linear system in the 3-D Poisson equation for non-hydrostatic pressures. The Biconjugate Gradient Stabilized (BiCGstab) method is used to solve the resulting 3-D unsymmetric linear system instead of the conjugate gradient method, which can only be used for symmetric, positive-definite linear systems. Three test cases are used for validations. 4Assessment of the predictive capability of RANS models in simulating mean-dering open channel flows显示文摘The predictive capability of Reynolds-averaged numerical simulation(RANS) models is investigated by simulating the flow in meandering open channel flumes and comparing the obtained results with the measured data. The flow structures of the two experiments are much different in order to get better insights. Two eddy viscosity turbulence models and different wall treatment methods are tested. Comparisons show that no essential difference exists among the predictions. The difference of turbulence models has a limited effect, and the near wall refinement improves the predictions slightly. Results show that, while the longitudinal velocities are generally well predicted, the predictive capability of the secondary flow is largely determined by the complexity of the flow structure. In Case 1 of a simple flow structure, the secondary flow velocity is reasonably predicted. In Case 2, consisting of sharp curved consecutive reverse bends, the flow structure becomes complex after the first bend, and the complex flow structure leads to the poor prediction of the secondary flow. The analysis shows that the high level of turbulence anisotropy is related with the boundary layer separation, but not with the flow structure complexity in the central area which definitely causes the poor prediction of RANS models. 6A PARTIALLY-AVERAGED NAVIER-STOKES MODEL FOR HILL AND CURVED DUCT FLOW显示文摘Turbulent flows past hill and curved ducts exist in many engineering applications.Simulations of the turbulent flow are carried out based on a newly developed technique, the Partially-Averaged Navier-Stokes (PANS) model, including separation, recirculation, reattachment, turbulent vortex mechanism.The focus is on how to accurately predict typical separating, reattaching and secondary motion at a reasonable computational expense.The effect of the parameter, the unresolved-to-total ratio of kinetic energy (f_k ), is examined with a given unresolved-to-total ratio of dissipation (f_ε ) for the hill flow with a much coarser grid system than required by the LES.An optimal value of f_k can be obtained to predict the separation and reattachment locations and for more accurate simulation of the resolved turbulence.In addition, the turbulent secondary motions are captured by a smaller f_k as compared with the RANS method with the same grid.MA Jia-mei WANG Fu-jun YU Xin LIU Zhu-qing 2011Journal of Hydrodynamics2011,23,4:2
7A NOVEL ADAPTIVE σ COORDINATE MODEL AND ITS APPLICATIONS TO WAVE AND STRUCTURE INTERACTION显示文摘In this paper, a novel adaptive mesh σ coordinate model is proposed for the studies of Wave and Structure Interaction (WSI). The model is validated by using the case of a solitary wave movement in an open channel with constant water depth and the case of nonbreaking solitary wave propagating over a step. Numerical results agree well with the analytical solutions obtained based on the Boussinesq theory, the laboratory data and other numerical model results. 8Effect of bank slope on the flow patterns in river intakes显示文摘In this work, we studied the dimensions of stream tube in the vertical as well as inclined bank conditions. Data were collected from both a physical model and a 3-D numerical model(SSIIM 2). Equations for predicting stream tube dimensions were presented and compared with existing formulae. In comparison with vertical bank, it is found that inclining bank causes the bottom stream tube width to be greater than at the surface. The strength of secondary current formed at the entrance of branch channel is reduced.
