12009年4月6日意大利拉奎拉(L′Aquila)M_W 6.3地震的破裂过程——视震源时间函数方法与直接波形反演方法比较显示文摘通过对视震源时间函数方法和直接波形反演方法在意大利拉奎拉(L′Aquila)M_w 6.3地震破裂过程反演中的应用,分析比较了两种方法的特点.视震源时间函数结果表明,这次地震的破裂过程由两次子事件组成,其中第二次子事件的多普勒效应显著,表明破裂主要朝震中的东南方向传播.分别采用视震源时间函数方法和滑动角固定以及滑动角可变的直接波形反演方法对拉奎拉地震时空破裂过程进行反演所得到的结果一致表明:断层面上有两块滑动量集中的区域,分别位于震源处和沿走向(132°)方向距震源5~10 km处,最大滑动量分别约为1.2 m和1.0 m.破裂持续时间约为9.5 S.最大滑动速率达0.6~0.7 m/S,快速的破裂和上盘下盘效应导致了拉奎拉城的严重破坏.张勇 陈运泰 许力生 2010地球物理学报2010,53,6:8
22008年汶川地震震源区东北端局部形变区与青川MS6.4强余震关系显示文摘2008年汶川地震之后,通过In SAR观测到青川县木鱼镇附近存在一个长约为15 km、宽约为10 km、地表位移数十厘米的局部形变区。前人分析认为,该形变区是由M_S6.4的青川强余震造成的,但拟合地表形变数据所采用的震源深度和震源机制解与地震学反演的结果具有较大差异。本文利用远震体波和瑞雷波振幅谱进一步测定了青川强余震的震源深度和震源机制解,计算了此次事件造成的地表位移场,认为青川强余震并非造成木鱼镇地区局部形变的直接原因,并讨论该局部形变区可能的成因。倪四道 周勇 钱韵衣 罗新宇 王向腾 2018地震学报2018,40,3:1
3Source parameter and rupture process of the M_W6.3 early strong aftershock immediately following the 2016 M_W7.8 Kaikoura earthquake(New Zealand)显示文摘The 2016 A/w7.8 Kaikoura(New Zealand)earthquake was the most complex event ever instrumentally recorded and geologically investigated,as it ruptured on more than 12 fault segments of various geometries.To study the mainshock rupture characteristics,geodetic methods like InSAR and GPS play an essential role in providing satisfactory spatial resolution.However,early strong aftershocks may cause extra ground deformation which bias the mainshock rupture inversion result.In this paper,we will focus on studying the Mw 6.3 aftershock,which is the only A/6+thrust slip aftershock that occurred only 30 minutes after the Kaikoura mainshock.We will relocate the hypocenter of this event using the hypo 2000 method,make the finite fault model(FFM)inversion for the detailed rupture processes and calculate the synthetic surface displacement to compare with the observed GPS data and figure out its influence on the mainshock study.Although we are not able to resolve the real ruptured fault of this event because of limited observation data,we infer that it is a west-ward dipping event of oblique slip mechanism,consistent with the subfault geometries of the Kaikoura mainshock.According to the inverted FFM,this event can generate 10-20 cm ground surface displacement and affect the ground displacement observation at nearby GPS stations.Qingjun Meng Aizhi Guo Xiangteng Wang Shuofan Wang 2019Earthquake Science2019,32,1:0
4Effect of tidal stress on fault nucleation and failure of the 2007 Ms6.4 Ning'er earthquake显示文摘Based on calculations of the tidal Coulomb failure stress and investigations of the correlation between the Earth tide and the Ning'er earthquake sequence, the processes of fault nucleation and failure were simulated. In these simulations we consider the influence of tidal stresses using the rate- and state-dependent friction laws. Furthermore, the effects on tidal triggering due to the stress amplitude and periodic oscillation properties were investigated, and the triggering effects between the tidal normal and tidal shear stresses were compared. The results showed that the Ning'er earthquake sequence was a physical consequence of tidal effects. A transition period T_0 exists between the nucleation and failure processes of a seismic fault. When the period T of stress is equal to or becomes larger than T_0, the fault response becomes dependent on the periodic features of the loading stress; however, for T < T_0, the response of the fault is nearly independent of the period. Both the tidal normal and tidal shear stresses have similar effect in the nucleation and failure processes; the clock changes generally increase with the maximum amplitudes of the tidal stresses. Tidal normal and tidal shear stresses with positive amplitudes mainly induce earthquake triggering; however, the triggering effects induced by negative tidal stresses are smaller and faults are not sensitive to negative tidal stresses.
